I was seriously considering not working out today due to my stomach ailments and my hip flexors are sore! I can't remember anything all that different about the w/o yesterday to have caused that, but maybe using the 9kg dumbells for everything did it. Driving back from the office just moving my foot on and off the clutch was very painful! Strange... It is something that always gets stretched with H&C so I guess if you go heavy enough you will feel it.
Anyways... As advised by some of you and my bf, try it if you feel up to it, so I did. I had done my research during a break and seen it was Total Body Chisel, no dread factor and no jumping or crazy stuff, just 10 reps of 3 different exercises repeated 3 times and then another two rounds the same way. Again only 10 reps before moving on to a completely different muscle group and a total of 30 reps for each exercise so I figured I could go heavy again. Did all with the 9kgs again, except incline chest fly and incl curls, those I did with 2x6kgs. Heavy enough for now.. Anyways... Long story short, really good total body w/o that literally had me dripping with sweat. Main downside to uaing really heavy weights (for me 9kgs are really heavy) is my hands get very tired from holding the weights.
So glad I did the w/o. Stomach is worse right now, but will hopefully settle somewhat and not keep me awake.
