Gooood Morning,

Beautiful Spring day...

Did S&H/PUB/PS back+biceps this morning. Managed to up the weights on the bb curls in S&H to 13KG (28.6 american pounds). This darn bicep vein is extending to the shoulder now. Don't like those veins showing. I'm glad it only shows when I'm working out :) I added KPC ABS, but my arms were fried and I couldn't do the pikes on the s.ball. Will give it another try this afternoon.

And I will do L&G + the Low Max blasts this afternoon OR I'll go for a 6K skate ride and then add the Low Max blasts and maybe the ankle weight exercises from L&G. Don't know yet.

Have a marvellous sunny day. I'm off shopping for some new running socks.

Thanks for everyone's well wished yesterday. I am feeling somewhat better today.

Dutchie: way to go with the biceps. My biceps used to be the weakest part of my upper body, now they are one of my strongest parts.

Last evening: Gym Style biceps and S&H biceps and Strecth Max 1.
No cardio.

Today:LowMax on schedule.

Today is a 1 hour step tape, then core and stretch. Maybe I will be able to add in IMAX2 or RS or elliptical after I get some work done. I am going to try. Today is a busy day at work.

rest for me today. still sore from ME on Wed! I'm going to visit my family tomorrow so I'll have a week to recoup. My muscles need it :)

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was PUB (just the shoulder, Tri's and Bi's segments) and Core Max #3. Core Max brutalized my abs as I was walking around like someone beat me up or something...ouchy! Love that DOMS!!! Didn't have the energy for Aerobics as it was a busy day.

Today is Shop Max/Rest Day. It is just gonna be a fun day even though the weather stinks.

Dutchie- you always perk me up in the morning when I read your post. I would love to see a bicep vein myself....someday soon.

Cathy- glad you are feeling so much better. Cheers~

Getting ready to do KPC...my new favorite, then legs & glutes...so my bottome half should be fried! :p

Sandra!!!! So glad you are back!!! I really missed your posts. Nice knowing things are well...:)

Wendy...I missed reading about your accident. I am so happy to know you are fine, and especially the little guy. My sister was in a scary accident when she was 8 months pregnant. Rolled her car on an icy road. Thank god she was okay....and her baby was also fine, in fact he is now my Chiropractor!! She actually has 2 very cool kids.

Today I am doing MM & ME Back & Shoulders and a 4 mile run. Then later Yardwork, removing the Weedmax...:)...

Thanks Carole! Apparently an unborn child is very well protected and even though it's always wise to get checked out...it's seems the little ones can withstand a lot because they are so very well padded in there! :+ I actually got freaked out after the accident because we had just installed the car seat in my car and I looked at it and thought of him being IN the car seat when it happened. Most likely would have been fine but it was just a scarey thought.

This morning was Gym Style Chest & Triceps for me. Those muscles are totally toast now. That's what I love about Cathe's workouts - I feel like I actually accomplished something when I'm done. :D

Wendy - Glad to hear that everything is ok - I cannot imagine having to think about that - - I think I will be one of those worry wart mothers! I check the backseat every time I hit the brakes when my dog is in the back! So sad - lol

Last night I ended up doing pilates, and PLB. I am doing PUB today. I am switching up my rotation for next week and going to focus on circuits for seven days: This is what I was thinking.....
M - HSTA plus PUB abs
T - KPC (I should be getting it today!!)plus 30 mins jog
W - Pilates/Body Max
R - Pilates/C & W
F - KM or rest
S - Boot Camp plus 30 mins jog
Su- Imax

I want to get ready and really burn some calories before I get ready to start the Tank Top Rotation! :) What do you guys think??
 
Good morning!

This morning I did Body Fusion, plus the stability ball add-on segment on that dvd. I have never done BF in total before; I've only once programmed all the step segments together for a recovery day workout. Turns out, if you do the whole thing after 2 months of doing nothing, and gaining 11 pounds, it's challenging!! LOL!! My flexibility has gone kaput, and it's noticeable when I attempt to do lunges and squats. I did the workout with 5lb dumbells, which felt about right for me.

Wendy - do you think your regular exercise sessions have helped reduce/control the bloating and water retention that women often get in their last trimester? My ankles ballooned up really bad with first DD (wasn't exercising for that pregnancy), and I'm hoping that this time I will not have it so bad. Oh, and when you did the SJP hi/lo, did you take out the impact?

Reba - Regarding your question y-day about whether SH can be subbed for PS, I know that Cathe will often put together a strength rotation that alternates between both of these workouts. From that, I would presume that you could use them interchangeably. Regarding the rotation you posted today, I think it looks tough and great!! The only suggestion that came to my mind was that you probably don't need the 30min run after KPC (especially since you're going to do BM the next day). KPC is a pretty intense workout if you give it your all.

Angie - that is tragic news about your daughter's friend's father. I'm very sorry to hear about that. Is your daughter doing okay? This must be very distressing for her, I imagine?

Katie - How are you feeling today? How's DH? Getting waylaid by bugs so frequently is very frustrating!

Jes - are you really enjoying LowMax? What do you think of the music?

Annette - if I ever suggest going grocery shopping with 3 children, it is an indication that I need to be locked up! :) You're a brave woman!

Foodie Sue - I'm thrilled that I pulled you back :) And your workout yesterday sounds brutal! Can you walk today???

Dutchie - that's some mean weight you're lifting for biceps!! I bow to you! When you say "skate ride" are you referring to the skiis, the ice skates, or some kind of fitness machine?

Suzanne - you're bionic! When do you go to Victoria?

Carole - thanks!! Did you announce new plans for your next marathon while I was gone?

Sandra, you are totally right - I probably won't need that thirty min jog, I will re-schedule that one. I just need to get my dog on a run 2X a week and my husband takes her about 3X and then we both try and walk her too, so I need to make sure Morgan (german sheppard) gets out and gets to play, but maybe I can just walk her and let her run in the park that day :)

Hi Sandra...I guess maybe the exercise DID help ward off swelling because I'll be honest...I just recently started to swell in the ankles...only over the past few weeks to a month and in the beginning it was very minimal. It comes and goes too. I start off in the morning with ankle bones...by the evening I have none! lol But the next morning or if I lay down for a while, they will to reappear.

Oh & yes, impact OUT of hi/lo...it was lo/lo for this gal!;) LOL

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I did the warm-up and blasts from Imax3, then GS Legs standing only followed by the core work from BC. I have sore legs today, but the good sore. ;-)

Today I have scheduled GS Chest & Triceps and some Stretch Max. I think my legs need it. }(
