WOW!! It is 5:50 pm and NOBODY has done a check in, that is a first.

My day got away from me a little but this morning I did 40 min. of the Advanced Taebo #11 and then went to the gym and did 35 min. of weight work. The training I need for the Silver and Fit program may require me to get a certification as a group exercise instructor or personal trainer first. The manager at the gym is going to talk to the Silver and Fit people and see what they can work out.

Hey Annette. Great job on your intense Taebo and weights!! Hope the Silver Sneakers works out for you. With all of your experience, motivation & knowledge, you would certainly make an excellent trainer! I admire how often you go to the gym.

It's 3:20 pm here, lol, not all that late today for me! ;) I did a pilates and foam roller workout and Burn Sets Tris. Feeling pumped ..oh yeah!
Going to the Italian bakery now to get some yummy bread! It is a sunny and warm day here.
 
Hi all!
I spent at least 4 hours walking yesterday (Friday) which led to me feeling my ankle so I went for Xtrain Bi's and Tri's so my ankle could recover.
I hadn't done that dvd in ages. At first I thought... This isn't going to work my arms until they burn even when matching Cathe, but boy was I wrong. By the end I felt like my arms were detached from my body!

While in town I'd gotten another flavor protein shake and then I stopped by what I thought was a shop, but it turned out it was a boutique gym. The guy eyed my protein and then filled me in on why it was no good at all and what was I trying to achieve and how. He said you might think you can get ripped using dvds but to build muscle like mine you have to work out in a gym with a personal trainer and have a dieticien. Whatever! I never feel like arguing/debating with these types of people. His only goal was to convince me I needed special one on one sessions and I was lucky to be considered to be allowed to train in their gym.

Personally I think that even if I wanted to compete in Fitness, it would be possible to do it all at home with the right discipline. I have seen it done, not personally but online. But as it is... That is definitely not my goal right now. I just love my w/o's and enjoy getting stronger and fitter.
