Morning fit women!

How is everyone on this lovely Tuesday morning?;)

I remembered what workout I had to do last night:p It was Imax 2, so I did that and KPC core.

This morning is shoulders (doing sets in between typing) and I will run later.

Have a great day!

Shelley, we posted at the same time - great minds!

Good day fitness buddies! Today was LL for me, followed by CM 2. I'm seeing more definition in my arms after following fitnessfreak's Get REady for Summer rotation. However, I do need more cardio as my belly has a layer of fat over it that needs to be gone. So, depending on what Cathe comes up with, I'd like to do a combo of cardio and upper body. Maybe a week of cardio then a week of UB and so forth. What do all of you think? What does everyone else have planned for May? Should I break up the week rather than solid cardio all week? Have a good day.

Goodmorning all.

Phyllis, my goodness! It is almost May. Where did April go?

Shelley, have a great run. Hope the hip behaves.

I had a rotten workout last night. I just couldn't get motivated and only did the first 3 segments of Low Max. Today is a weight day and I'm thinking of doing an upper body premix from PP or SS. If time allows, I hope to get to a Core Max segment and maybe some cardio to make up for yesterdays dismal showing. Enjoy your Tuesday all.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I'm in need of some fun, so I'm going to do PowerMax and CM#1. My lower back is really bothering me and I don't know why. All my back issues have been in by upper back. This aging thang is just so much fun....NOT!

Shelley: Have a great run!

Phyllis: Great workout!

Robin: I had the same workout as you yesterday...nothing clicked:-( . Here's to a better workout today!

Carole: I am doing E2L...I need to get some better food choices in this house in order to make it work though. It takes a lot of time and planning to eat right:eek:  !

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Robin- I am sorry about the dismal workout. It hapens to me to on occaision. Today will be better!

Shelly-KPC core is a great burner for me. Stretch out that well OK?

Phyllis- If you don't mind my saying, I would not go less than 3 cardio in any week. And if the layer over yor belly needs reducing try cleanning up the food intake along with the cardio.

today is LL& Abs and CTX back

Good Morning Goils:) It's very gray here today, I want to do MowMax but too much rain, rain, rain! I went to the gym last night for a hi/lo interval class, great sweatfest and really got me hyped for Drill Max. I had a shower and then a 90 minute massage, it was heavenly. It's all about the upper body today so I'm thinking PUB and CK arm drills.

Shelley, you are one multi tasking machine Girl!

Phyllis, that's awesome that your arms are more defined. I personally wouldn't do one cardio week, one upper body week. Muscle mass can be lost in as little as 4 days and you've worked hard for your gains. JMHO:)

Robin, Hope you feel a bit more peppy today.

Tammy, enjoy PowerMax you 'Wild Thang':D I hear you on the aging thing. Like Bridget Bardot said 'not so nice to age, but lovely to ripen', hope your low back behaves for you.

Judy, enjoy your workout!

Have a Good one All!

Take Care

Daily Check-in

Good morning! :)

Daily Check-in

Glory! Day 10 of my challenge arrived with good news. I decided to weigh every Tuesday morning and every Saturday morning for the rest of this challenge. As of this morning, I am 5 pounds lighter (thanks to drinking a gallon of water a day and with a little help from my cycle). The 4th of July is 10 weeks away, so I will need to keep dropping 2 pounds a week to reach my goal. I am now 80 pounds below my top weight with only 20 pounds to my challenge goal and 50 pounds to my ultimate goal. :7 Glory!

I did the second segment of Total Body Stretching before I went to bed last night. This morning, I did a Leaner Legs homemade circuit with a 5-minute interval of cardio gliding after the warmup and after each set of calf raises (except the last set before going down to the floor for abs). This is my favorite Cathe lower body workout, and the cardio gliding adds a lot of fun to it. My butt and thighs are on fire now!

I have a celebration planned after work, so I will be facing my first big test of this challenge. I will be meeting friends at Cheddar’s to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This will not be a free meal for me, so I could really use any restaurant survival tips you want to share.

Blessings,
Heather B.

Good morning everyone,

You all have such great workouts going today, it must be a better day than Monday, by the looks of things.

Today I did Mindy's Interval Express and Cathe's ab hits. Imax 2 was on the schedule, but I am just not into Cathe cardio lately. Mindy really keeps your heartrate up there, her rest periods are nonexistent really, just enough to get the moves down for the next combo, then she cranks it back up again. Great workout!

Have a great day,

RE: Daily Check-in

Morning ladies! Today was IMAX followed by Core Max #2. Well, I've done all three IMAX's with my new HRM and I have to say that the big winner is definitely IMAX 3! Now I can't wait to find out how many calories I burn the MIC. That's not planned for a couple weeks though.

Heather - I've never heard of Cheddar's. What kind of food do they serve there?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie

RE: Daily Check-in

G'morning girls.

Yesterday was U/B work done at the gym and at home plus a 1.5 mile run on the treadmill. It's the first time I used the machines at the gym and boy do I feel it today!}(

Today is as follows:

Kickmax kickbox/bootcamp premix
Cardio Kicks arm drills
KPC abs

I hope I survive! ;) :p

Good Morning Girls!

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny spring day and I was MOTIVATED! I did HSTA and C&W abs and in the afternoon took a one hour power walk.

Today it's cloudy and cool with rain coming and after dd and dh left for work and school I did something I NEVER do and went back to bed.
Got 2 more hours of sleep that I needed, so that's good- but so far, no workout!

I've decided today is a treadmill run and that's it. Maybe stretchmax if I feel I need an extra stretch.

Happy Tuesday All!
:)

RE: Daily Check-in

Hi ladies!

Today will be upper body work - my own routine, going heavy. Also some abs and hopefully a good stretch.

I overdid last week and am now paying for it. I have re-injured my shin muscle, which I hurt last September. Then it took about 3 weeks to recover. I'm hoping it'll be better this time in a week, since it's not as bad. And you know - of all the silly things, it happened on a power walk the last day of vacation! I decided to take the walk to give my knees a break, and it did help them. But I guess the old shin is weaker than I thought. I should have just taken Sunday completely off, and I'd be fine now. Lesson learned.

RE: Daily Check-in

Shelley...Imax2 is a fun but tough one...hope you have a good run

Phyllis...that is great you are seeing definition. I am a true believer that weights along with cardio works best...

Robin..those premixes from SS & PP are quite fun

Enjoy Meaner Legs Judy...:)..a great workout

Tammy...sorry about your lower back. I don't have problems with mine anymore although I did years ago, just doing stupid things! Yes, E2L requires alot of food..:)...for me it can be alot of cooking to so I cook on Sun and my mondays off so the leftovers are easier during the week..

Laurie...it is a bit cloudy here too but tomorrow it'll jump to 85! Have fun punching with CK..:)

Good workout Conni

Congrats on the weight loss Heather...:) have fun with your friends tonight

Katie...MIC will burn lots of cals

Enjoy your kickboxing day Wendy

Annette...sorry for all this stress...:(...I know workouts must be tough. But when you can they might help a little...thoughts and prayers...

GS chest is a toughie Sandra...Chipotles are smoked red jalapenos and very good. I liked the Chitpotle mashed potatoes in Vegan Planet...:)

I am doing GS legs, standing section, a 6 mile tempo run and maybe a TLT this afternoon

Have a great day...:)

Hello Ladies!

Well after I said I was going to workout yesterday I didn't instead I ended up with a heated water bottle to my tummy area, some nausea and 2 Midols if you get my drift . This month it's just very hurtful.

So I plan on doing LoMax but I'm pumping myself up with 800mgs of Advil this morning before I start my workout with tons of coffee in my system - ugh.

But I will workout today even it's for 30 minutes.

Hope you all have a great day :)

RE: Daily Check-in

Yesterday, I was off work, I had to take my sister to hospital. All is well.

This morning I only did a 40 minute jog. If not at hospital this evening, going to do something :p :p :9 probably an endurance workout not sure which.....

Have a bless day.

Teddygirl~

Thanks Carole, for the words of encouragement.

I did Kick Max warm up then Cardio Kicks power drills all with weighted gloves on for my workout along with my own bicep and tricep work with weights.

Have a great day!!:7

Is back to say work out is complete!

Also, it's not the cardio kicks arm drills...there is no such segment-it was a typo...it's really the ctx k/b arm drills....FUN FUN work out!}(
