It's day 2 of my rotation!
I am off to do BodyMax and a powerwalk later this morning. I'll have to do the cardio now and the UB work when I get back from taking the boys to school. As long as it gets done!

Good morning all. I'm not sure what's on the docket for today. Probably something cardio, Step Works maybe. Someone mentioned doing it yesterday and it's been a while since I pulled that one off the shelf. I did Gym Style Chest yesterday and am proud to report I did all the pushups, using Shelley's trick of taking a longer break between sets. Have a great day all.

Day two of my vacation. Lovin' every minute of it.

Today I need to do a leg workout, probably PLB. My dear grandmother, who is visiting from Calif, also would like to see a Cathe cardio, so I'm going to demonstrate Imax 3. That should blow her socks off.

Good premix today, SB/SJP premix number 7, 68 minutes. Good circuit workout with the step combos from SB, and the weightwork from SJP.

Daily Check-in

I enjoyed the second segment of Total Body Stretching again last night. I love this and plan to do it almost every night before bed. It really relaxes me and helps me sleep better. I am hoping to bless my body with more sleep.

I did Leaner Legs circuit style this morning with intervals of cardio gliding. Leaner Legs is my favorite lower body workout of all time. The cardio gliding increases the intensity and works my legs even more. Cathe is wiping me out this week. My sore throat is gone. No more cough either. I still have some congestion in my head, so that could be the problem. Of course, 10 days of no Cathe workouts is not helping the situation. I want my energy back! I have IMAX2 on my rotation for tomorrow, but I will see how I feel in the morning.

Robin, I had a peaceful Easter. Thank you for asking. I enjoyed a slice of coconut cake and some dark chocolate on Saturday, so my Easter eating was actually very clean. Speaking of eating, I forgot to mention yesterday that I reintroduced small amounts of clean animal protein on Easter and plan to keep eating that way every other day on circuit training days. I may return to all plant eating eventually.

Phyllis, I love tuck jumps even though I am still overweight. It is crazy because I cannot do standard jumping jacks for anything, but I can do tuck jumps and plyo jacks until the cows come home without hurting my joints. I do tuck jumps on the floor now, but they are a blast on the rebounder too!

Carole, I am a morning person. I like to get up at 4:00 a.m., but it has been closer to 5:00 a.m. since the time changed.

Sandra, I visited your PictureTrail. Your girls are adorable! I wish I could snuggle with them!

Kali, your post made me laugh out loud! No more eating of the junk for me. Enjoy your new workouts.

Annette, congratulations on the weight loss. I finally received your e-mail and responded last night.

By the way, I must confess that I had to rest several times yesterday morning during the planks from CTX Kickbox. When I read the comments yesterday about how great I did, I laughed and realized that you did not see me attempting those reverse planks! As my upper body gets stronger and the excess fat melts away, I am confident that planks will get easier.

Hi everyone,

Have been coughng for four weeks now. And as it's been getting worse I went to see my doctor today. Nothing specific, but he told me to rest till Monday: no workouts or running and since I only had to work Thu and Fri, he thought it better if I'd stay home and take a complete rest! He also gave me medication: an inhalator to help my lungs, I'm not so good with the medical English, so can't explain this very well. And pills that are stronger than codeine to help suppress the coughing, so I get to sleep properly again.

So now I can sit here all day and envy you your workouts

Oh well, a few days rest never hurt anyone.
 
Have to rush but wanted to check-in. I pulled out StepFit today and added on CM#3, got the job done now it's back to work, I have to deal with insurance issues and taxes today (blechhh and double blechhhx( :( ). I am sooo bad for avoidance behaviours with such unpleasant matter but can't procrastinate any longer:( x(

HI Fit Friends!!

Yesterday I survived The Gauntlet and have decided that it's my favorite too! I always think Viper is the best and then I do Gauntlet and change my mind!! Also did abs.

This morning was a 45 min. interval ride on my stationary bike. Will walk later too because it's a beautiful day & I want to get out there an enjoy it!:D

So glad you are feeling better Heather. Cathe can be tough when we are under the weather. Yes, I have always been a better morning person..never can stay up too late..

Dutchie...yuk....you have a cough too! Rest really is best...hope you get some relief soon!

I'll be doing the standing part of GS leg and a 5 or 6 mile run. We are having very nice weather....makes me happy!!

Good morning everyone!

My vacation was absolutely marvelous! I'm exhausted today, so I don't know whether today will be a rest yet. I did get a few workouts in last week -- Imax 2 the morning before we left, KPC, P90X Legs and Back, and P90X Shoulders and arms. The bands were great for the back exercises.

Haven't decided yet whether to pick up where I left off with the August rotation, or whether I should try something new. I really enjoy the cardio coach mp3s, and I want to incorporate more running.

I'll post later after I've had a chance to catch up with all of you.

Well just peeking in here and just finished Lo Max - man I forgot how great this workout is. I feel really good after doing this one I my need to include it more often. :)
