Daily check-in 29/07/2005

Good morning,

This morning I did LowMax intervals 4-7. Oh LowMax, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: segments 4 and 6!! This is such a great workout. Afterwards I did a short prenatal yoga segment (Leisa Hart) that focused on abs, kegels, and stretches. I liked the segment, but the instructor is very annoying.

Tammy - are you going away for your vacation?

Kali - KPC is a lot longer than CTX Kickbox. Most comparable would be to just do KPC's warm up, and intensity drills (both intermediate and advanced).

Laurie - nice to see you post today! I was wondering what happened to you these past few days. LOL about feeling like Fred Flintstone! Who's brilliant idea was it to build a city on a pile of limestone, anyway?

Desi - feel better soon!!!!

Carole - I hope DH's surgery goes okay!! Will he be having a general anaesethic (sp)? Yup, lots of trails around here, for sure!! We're also only a 4 hour drive from the Rocky Mountains, where there are tons of mountain trails.

Sherry - funny you mention the party arms in PM. I dislike them a lot. I don't know why. They annoy me. I like the workout, though. It's not my favourite, but I have fun with it every now and again. I like the 3rd combo the best.

Emily - Step Jam is probably my favourite older steady-state cardio. Once you get past all the basic steps at the start, the choreography is a lot of fun!

WOW so many posts so early. Well 8 am is early to me especially since I went out last night and played pool with friends until midnight. I don't drink and I ate dinner before hand so it was all good clean fun!

Today is a run on the treadmill and abs. Later I will do eithe ME or MM. Man that circuit workout off of hardcore extreme about did me in yesterday. That is a tough workout. I have a bit of a challenge to get all the choreograhy down from the imax 3 parts. Fiirst time I did this workout. Later I did legs and glutes but only the regular version and not the long premix. I just felt that it would have been too much.

Carole, I pray that everything goes well with your dh and his surgery.

I did the 37 min. premix off of KPC then did abs off of All Step and Leaner Legs. Nice workout. Nice day today for putting in a new front door and the rest of the new windows. In other words I will be helping my dh the rest of the day!!:D

I did Imax 3 and the ab ripper X, tomorrow I will finish week 12 of P90X I use Cathe for cardio but I am doing the P90X weight workouts, except the legs, sometimes I sub for Cathe's L&G or GSL.

hey all! Today i am feeling better(2 days in a row!) and i think i am going to try my own circuit workout. i think i am going to put in Cardio and Weights and walk fast during the step portions and then do the regular stuff on the weight segments. i am going to wear my hmr to see how effective this is.

Carole: you have my thoughts and positive vibes today for both your dh's anxiety and your sanity. I am sure everything will go smoothly and please keep us posted. :)


Sandra: sorry to hear you have been so busy lately! don't those crazy folks know you are prego and they should leave you alone. How is dd feeling? did she enjoy her birthday? did you end up sick too?

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I'm checking in a little late today. Got up early this morning, ate breakfast, did my workout, showered and off to the store I went. Just ate lunch and I am finally checkin' in now...:)

Well I made my attempt at the Gauntlet. I had to cut it short, but surprisingly enough it was not because I just couldn't take it anymore! It was because my Joey needed me! He was fussy and crying. ;(

So I ended up doing 3 or 4 full circuits...not sure how many as I wasn't really counting them. My hrm stats are:

This is based on 28 mins not including w/u or c/d-stretch...
avg hr 139
high hr 159
cals burned 333

Not bad! Next time I will complete it! :)

I am off now to feed my son!

Hi everybody!

I know I am checking in a little late, but it is my day off and I was finishing reading Harry Potter and when cleaned the house and washed clothes and just got done with my workout.

I did S&H Legs and Shoulders and a 30 min walk/light jog on the treadmill.

Carole - I hope everything goes ok, keep us posted.

Carole, I hope DH husband did well today. Let us know okay?

Just finished my w/o and it was ..... no words to describe it.... I did HCXtreme #2 - those alternating high and low impact intervals (think alternating IMAX3 intervals with LowMax intervals) followed by KickMax blasts - get the picture. That is one grueling 75 minute w/o.

I was feeling a little like Amazon woman after I got through so I did the core premix off Bootcamp.

I think that wonderful fattening Italian meal with the chocolate dessert I had yesterday has burned up in the inferno!!:7
 
Jane - that sounds fantastic and hard! No wonder you were all pumped full of endorphins!

I just finished Imax 3 and Coremax segment #1. For some reason, I can't levitation holds anymore. I USED to be able to do them. I wonder what happened? Maybe it's that extra inch I grew:p
 
Jane it sounds like you had a tough workout. That is the only one that I have done off of that. Be so glad when I can do that again!

Shelley, I cannot do them things to save my life. I was trying to do the levitation hold the other day and I looked hilarious. You know when you get up a ways and your legs are crossed they swing out front and then you plop down! I thought there for a minute I was a swinging bridge!


I was supposed to do MIS upperbody and abs,and KM leg drills.Well as usual I have 4 people coming over for company and that means clean the house. It's clean, but I like to do the dusting,mopping,windexing. I like to do it all. Not!!

So I will have to do this tomorrow. I guess today was my day off.
