Good morning!

This morning I did LowMax intervals 1-4, and CW compound and heavy weights premix.

Wendy - I could be wrong, but I think plie squats are supposed to target both inner and outer thighs. But I think I know what you mean; without the ball work at the end, the inner thighs don't get worked nearly as much. I loathe that ball work :) Joey is 2.5 months!! Wow! Has he plumped up a lot? Enjoy IMAX EX today!!

Conni - thanks for the info on Philip Gray. Is he good eye candy? :D

Carole - DH had a hoot in the cycling time trial. It's only his third competitive venture, and he finished around the middle of the pack. He's shaking his head over the fact, though, that 11 people over the age of 70 finished ahead of him!!! Apparently there's a 96 year old man competing in the freestyle swimming events. Very inspiring! A friend of ours is running in the half marathon, so we'll go out to cheer him on. His goal is simply to not get beaten by a 65 year old! How expensive can a flight to Edmonton be? Come on up and do the race!

Katie - just reading about how you lent BC/ME to your boss made my blood pressure go up. But you're doing a good thing - converting people to Cathe. It's a worthy cause :) I love the days when you can wear skinny clothes!! You're doing great!

Terri - are you feeling any better today?

Kim - Ooooh, what awful foot troubles! That would frustrate me beyond belief!

Jane - I hear you about being reluctant to do the IMAXs with blasts. I've thought that about IMAX3. I only do the step-only premix of that one, and I always feel kind of smug when Cathe and the gang are huffing and puffing after every blast, and I'm feeling just fine.

Foodie Sue - yay, PH kind of does that to you, doesn't it? It's a solid workout. I love the fact that there are no leg presses in it, but don't like the fact that there are two sets of lunges. x(

Carla - there are a few MIA's, aren't there? Thanks to Carole for the Dutchie update. But what's happened to Jes and Suzanne?

Debbie - you definitely deserve a rest after those workouts! Enjoy!

Kristine - welcome back!

Kali - I feel the same dread factor for all of the IMAXs, and I always end up enjoying them all. Sometimes the only way I can convince myself to do them is to say that I can "cheat" if I want to, then when I get into the workout, I find myself giving it 100%.

Shannon - I've had similar problems with the stability ball in KPC! That workout just gets you so sweaty!

Char - welcome to the check in!!

Shelley - my mom tells me that they had quite a wild thunderstorm yesterday (they live near London). Did you get that?

Judy - that sounds like a great KPC/KM combination.

Good Morning Fit Ladies,

I need to run to a meeting but I wanted to check in, I did KPC only today, but I went Salsa dancing last night, I broke up quite a sweat while having fun. I need to go but I want to wish everyone of you a fabulous day!

Sandra-Yes I am feeling better today so I will be doing cardio here soon! Yippeee:) Thanks fo asking!

I now have to decide to do a treadmill run which was the first cardio I missed or body max which is what I missed yesterday, Both days I did get my weight workouts in though. Any suggestions on where I pick up my cardio rotation? Do I just go with what would have been today which is a run or try stepetc?

Hey, I'm back!

Sandra--yeah, you are right that there is a little bit of inner thigh work in there but not much. Adding in the ball work would have made it better! :) I'll have to do that next time!

Imax Ex...HOLY !@#$

I got through 3 out of 4 circuits...I just couldn't bring myself to do the last one...maybe on a cooler day I'll get through it?? I don't know...I have a/c but on such awfully hot days even an a/c only does so much! It's a great work out though and I look forward to being able to complete it in it's entirety but it will CERTAINLY have a bit of a dread factor to it! }(

So here's the scoop from my HRM on this bad boy!:

Cals burned 653!!!
I'll bet the finished product would have had my calorie burn up near 1000! How's that for fighting the fat! :7 :+ }( :) :D

Hopefully on friday I will give the final Terminator w/o a go...The Gauntlet!}(

Did GS CT timesaver premix. Didn't feel up to doing the whole hours worth. Just finished doing floor legs of PS and had to take my ankle weights off on the outer thigh lift. That is how weak my legs are right now. Isn't that the most pitiful thing you ever heard? It sucks if you ask me. Well on with it. I did it a second time around with no ankle weights. It still was a b!tch!! Will do PS abs later on tonight.

Ok call me insane! I ran this morning and this afternoon I did Bodymax. I guess that should make up for my missing 2 days of cardio :) Either that or I WILL HAVE A RELAPSE. Actually I feel pretty good. Let's see how it feels tomorrow.

LOL... Terri, you are coming back with a vengance!! BodyMax felt good didn't it. I was feeling less than motivated when I started it but I'm sure glad I did!!! :)
 
hey there all. i haven't checked in in forever, but i finally have something to report. i did a very modified version of PUB/PLB bonus combo and the triceps part of GS chest/tris. my arms were shaking and i hope for DOMS tomorrow. it felt good to do something. i picked out a bike and i am ordering tomorrow. My plan is to watch Cathe workouts while pedaling and do an interval sort of thing. i will miss my step though:-(
