Daily check-in 24/07/2005

As the day wears on, I am getting more and more sore!!! DOMS BIG TIME in upper body after those two GS upper body w/o's yesterday back to back. I am feeling it!!!
 
Becky...I did HSC with an interval from Imax2 after each cardio segment...wow...awesome!!!

Jane...the heat wasn't near as bad today as last sunday! The humidity was only about 50% so that helped. Don't you just love DOMS!!

Tammy...I did have a good time today. You really can train your body for longer runs. That is great you are seeing new changes from running...:)

Yes Laurie...L&G is a great and fun workout. I can kinda relate to your family in law troubles. My DH got in a nasty fight with his Dad a few days ago. Said words I have never heard him say to his father. So my feeling for my FIL are a bit testy also...good idea to take some deep breaths before you see him...:)...as far as SIL's...OMG one I have is a con artist...the damage she has done over the years is terrible...you will be in my thoughts...

Mari!!! great to see you....I have missed your posts...great workout as usual...:)

I did make 12 miles before I crashed on my living room carpet...felt good...:)

You are my IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg doing Imax2 intervals after cardio in HSC is insanity!!!!!
I could barely breath this morning......heat and SOMETHING was really kicking my butt. Those high step workouts are tough by themselves, I can't imagine myself EVER ADDING to them!!!!

And 12 miles in the heat???????????????????????
I am bowing down to you!!!!

Terri, I didn't have any problems doing them back to back yesterday. It helped that it was on a Saturday and I would do them mid-morning on instead of late in the evening. I thought it was an excellent w/o. You will sure feel it the next day. I feel it in my chest, biceps, triceps, and even some in the back when I stretch.

Yes Carole!!! DOMS is very pleasant sensation today. I haven't had DOMS in upper body in a while. Your w/o's are amazing!!! I ran those 2 miles around 8:30 this morning and it was 71 degrees but it felt 85 with the humidity. That humidity really gets me. I'm glad the humidity wasn't bad for you.
 
Did 20mins of LM w/u and step only. Only did half cause I didn't want to push it. Then I did MM legs only with abs. It felt great after doing it. I think this MishMosh will be good for me now. It is shorter than my usual workouts.


Just wanted to share that. I needed variety and something that my body can handle right now.
