Good morning everyone,

Yesterday: Leaner (meaner)legs plus ab workout followed by StretchMax #3 plus a lot of CleanMax and Errand Max.

This morning: GymStlye Chest
Late afternoon: GymStyle Leg floor work, gymstyle back and StretchMax#2 on schedule. In between I need to finish cleanmax and I have to go into work for a few hours. Its suppossed to be a scorcher here today and so I am looking forward to being in our over air-conditioned work facility.

I am making progress through my freestyle training book and have noted that for leg work it isn't just about working your legs 6X/week with at least 4-6 exercises per workout at 70-70% your usual weight workload but it cautions against incorporating too many parallel leg squats, stand and sits and similar exercises . Since there are many of these type exercises in the workouts I typically do, I may replace some of the sets with some type of lunge or dip or plie squat. They also promote the importance of lower body stretching as part of the workout. I like the phiolosophy of the book. I used to dance professionally with a ballet company as an older teen and young adult and worked my legs almost everyday for hours at a time with no weight other than my body weight. I did a lot of stretching every day too. Ballet has a cardio component too and so I think my professional ballet years could be classified as fitting into the freestyle method. My legs were long, lean with defined not bulky muscles. They are still long and lean but have bulkier muscles than I used too. I am keeping up with my upper body progressive overload working each body part only 1x/week as this training has been ideal for my upper body. I am strong and have now definition in my arms but not bulky muscle.I'll keep everyone posted on my progress with freestyle for legs.

Good Morning Fit Women!

Yesterday was the Cathe Fiesta workout and YardMax. I worked out to Gwen Stefani and I did everyone of those 50 pushups!!!! I am thrilled about that! I have DOMS in my hamstrings now! Workouts and YardMax together always drop my body fat the next day. I swear I was sweating bullets and it was extremely hot here yesterday.

Today is my rest day.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Today was GS Legs. My upper body is sore from all the kickboxing and weight work the other day. I will definitely do that workout again! I wanted my lower body to feel the good pain too. So I went as heavy as I could. Squats & plie's & deadlifts 80lbs. Lunges and slow motion lunges & calf raises 30lbs. Hopefully I will feel it tomorrow! }(

Happy Sunday Ladies.

Yesterday was my rest day.

I went out shopping yesterday and was successful in finding a Christening outfit for Joey :)and we also bought him his next car seat as he's getting ready to outgrow his infant seat very soon! I did NOT however, have any luck in find an outfit for myself.:( I need something for his Christening and for a wedding that same weekend and everything I put on I looked ridiculous in because of this dang extra weight I'm carrying around!x(

Today is full body weights, cardio and abs...no clue exactly which w/o's I will do yet.

Good morning fitness folks,

Yesterday was circuit day but had to rake the yard so used this as my circuit w/o (cardio & upper body). No time for anything else, had a family reunion that lasted all day, had fun.

Today is rest day. Have to work today.:-(

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

Today I feel like having some fun, so I'm going to do IM#2 and then some ab work.

Yesterday after my run I did L & G. I forgot what a deceivingly hard workout that is. I love the music in this one. I'm going to add it my weekly rotation.

I never made it to the fitness store for my new running shoes, hopefully they are open today.

Cathy: Great workouts. Thanks for sharing some freestyle information.

Mariangeles: I love LowMax. It always gets me in the end!

Charlotte: Congrats on those push-ups!!!!

Carla: Great work...love the GS series.

Mariángeles, you got your legs working today!!!

Cathy...you really have absorbed the Freestyle system well...:)...I actually do alot of the lunge variation even when I do a Cathe workout as Freestyle focuses on lunges. I really like doinf front lunges onto the step and reverse lunges starting on the step for variation. I bet you will be very happy with the results!

Charlotte...you rest...??? just kidding as with your workouts I would need a rest day...:)

Carla...80 lbs????....wow....legs of steel...:)

Wendy, when is Joey getting Christened?...how sweet...:)

Jane...after that circuit rest is good. I hope the reunion was a blast.

Good workout Kim...PUB abs is one of my fav's with the stability ball.

I did a 10 mile trail run. I have a bit of foot pain...:(...either a bunion or something around there. I felt it yesterday during Lowmax. So ice and not a real long run for me...

Hi everyone...

To answer everyone's question that I apparently forgot to answer before LOL...Joey's Christening is Sunday September 18 after our Church's noon mass. We are having a little party at a local KOC hall afterwards for close family and friends. Should be fun. :)
