Hi good morning everyone

Feeling cheerful and excited today! Don't know why really - maybe just because I have 3 days of from job and I long weekend to enjoy with my fitness friends and my workouts. Yesterday I did Firm it Up of the Slim Series, 40 minutes in my stationary bike and TJ cardio party nº 1 and nº 2. I am now doing Slim Series with Turbo Jam. I'm a pear and my upper body shapes up and slims down very easily, so I don't think I need to work my upper body every workout but I definitely need the lower body blast.I've been doing Slim Series and Turbo Jam for the past two weeks and I'm definitely seeing results--my thighs look smoother. I haven't weighed but my clothes fit looser.SS and Turbo Jam or any kickboxing) is a great combo. I am also watching what I eat (no starbucks, no sweets, more wather) I have read the Starbucks's Coconut Creme and Vanilla creme Frappuccinos are jam packed with 870 calories, 32 grams of fat -- 19 of them saturated. Starbucks three other flavors, The Caramel, Chocolate Brownie, and Mocha Coconut all feature whipped cream on top and more fat and sugar inside. A 20-ounce venti of all but the Caramel supply roughly 600 calories and 23 grams of saturated fat.Sorry coffee lovers.

Today I have ate for breakfat cottage cheese, grapes and a little spoon of honey.Clean eating is crucial if you want to lose body fat.

Good morning Mariangeles... I'm glad you have some time off work. Some of those Starbucks concoctions do pack a calorie punch!

Yesterday was tri's and bi's from PUB and Bodyblast TimeSaver. Also got in PLB.

Today is a step routine of our choice on the Oct rotation and I believe I will do step combos from LowMax and IMAX2.

Today is a step workout and I am putting together my own mish mosh. I am thinking the step portions from Body Max & Allstep and then one section from RS but that's subject to change.;-) Also, I'd like to get a l/b workout in too.....since I've been neglecting l/b lately.'

I love Starbucks but don't go often (too expensive and none on my side of town), and when I do I only order "light" and w/o whipped cream, and I'm sure I still don't want to know the fat & calorie count!!!:eek: :p ;(

Great workouts! Everyone seems to be in a great mood. I am resting today. My legs have major DOMS!! YAY!! I will be studying for midterms all day. I can't believe I am half way through with my last year!! Woo-Hoo!!

Sandra-How'd you get the ok to start exercising so quickly!? I'm sooo jealous! :p I waited 4 weeks and STILL wasn't technically cleared yet! Well, great work out! Were were doing the high impact moves?? You are awesome!:) How's Kate?

Carole-Did you say that you think IMAX 1 is HARDER than IMAX 2?? If so, maybe I'll take my request for the RS/IMAX/MIC dvd OFF my Christmas list! :p

Yesterday I did IMAX 2 and then I got in Coremax 1 in the evening even though it's not on the schedule. ;)

Sigh....IMAX 2 and that infamous blast #9!!! It kicks my butt every time! I can't get through it as is but just yesterday decided on how to modify it to make it through...instead of doing airbourne jacks I do airbourne jumps and instead of doing those TRULY EVIL plie jacks I just continue to do regular jacks. I made it all the way through this way but barely still! LOL

Today calls for Leaner Legs...an oldie but a goodie! }(

I checked out my arms this morning...holy cow! I have definition I never had before in my bi's and tri's! I scare myself when I flex! }( :p lol

Is it raining in most places today again? It's rainy, windy and cold here in NJ. YUCK!x(

KPC was on the schedule for me this morning, but I cheated a little. I skipped combo 2 and just did combo 3 half way through :+ ! I was just exhausted from everything before the combos, and man I still love these windmills }( !

Mariángeles - enjoy your 3 days off, I always enjoy when I have so much time to workout! Clean eating is the key, that's for sure.

Jane - that looks like a great step combo.

Becky - Yes, I think Starbucks is wayyyyy to expensive.

Cathy - enjoy your pumpkin latte, sure sounds good :+

Tammy - haven't done PS in a while.

My workout is done and it was a whopper!
I did my step mishmosh...of the step from bodymax, & all of step heat. Then I did Leaner Legs. Great workout, that left me dripping in sweat!
Am drinking a chocolate/banana/peanutbutter protein smoothie and it's off to the showers~!

Great workouts planned ladies!

Today I just finished running 6 miles. NOw I am at work surfing the internet and hoping nobody comes to work for at least another 30 minutes.

Yesterday I did a homemade step tape in the lab for 1 hour. I could NOT get people to LEAVE ME ALONE for a measly 1 hour. I think telling me things like "someone from the Schwartz lab is going to come and get an antibody on Friday" can definitely WAIT for 1 hour, since its only fricking tuesday. SHeeeeeeh! Anyway, thats enough whinging for now. THanks for listening. I feel much better.

Good Morning All! I had a great workout this morning. I did a kickboxing DVD I borrowed from the gym and an hour of flexible strength. Nice Eastern feel to the workouts and music today, leaves me feeling kinda Zen.....:)

Mariangeles, enjoy your days off, I'm just coming off of a 4 day weekend and feel rejuvinated. I'm astounded at the Starbucks specialty coffee numbers, fortunately for me I'm not tempted by these coffees, strong and black with a touch of raw sugar is just the BEST!!:)

Jane, enjoy your stepping, sounds like a fun mix!

Tammy, sorry you missed your run. I'm singing 'Annie' for you.....'the sun will come out tomorrow.....:7

Carla, good luck with your studies, don't forget to stretch out those DOMSey legs;)

Morning all! Today was SB. I always start out that workout thinking "Aw, this is going to be easy today" and by the end I am gasping for air and begging for mercy. I love it!

Hope everyone has a great day! How was everyone's results from the Butts & Guts rotation? I am thinking about doing it for my next rotation. I certainly could use the help in those areas!:7

Hi there! Just got done with the warm up and kickbox segments on CTX...Have to send a quick work e-mail (and get some water!) before going back up and doing ALL of the arm work (all 5 CTX), and one of the abs...I've dubbed Mon/Wed/Friday as arms days...

Good morning everyone,

This morning I did Step & Intervals. That's my favourite CTX workout. I was soooo tired this morning and this workout perked me up considerably. I feel much better now.

Becky - I have a similar situation as you do. My living room gets used as a kid's playroom, workout room, office, and rec room. To transform it into my workout area requires a fair amount of furniture moving and toy tidying. When we move to our new house next year, DH's first priority will be to finish the basement, so I can have space just for my workouts. Can't wait!!

Katie - nice job squeezing that workout in yesterday! I'm surprised myself that I actually feel good enough to exercise this early on. After DD#1, I didn't have it in me to start exercising regularly until she was 2 years old! I feel so different this time around; I like to believe it's because I maintained my activity during the pregnancy. I can't wait to be ready to do SB again!

Laurie - I've been wondering where you'd gotten to. New choreo, huh? Have fun! Who thinks it up? Is it a group thing, or are you expected to create all your own choreo for your classes? And do you "borrow" stuff from Cathe? I hope I'm back in good enough condition to do BM2 when it comes out!!! Heck, I'm still looking forward to doing most of the HC series that have been sitting on my shelf for months!

Jes - Good work on the ME biceps!

Mariángeles - when you say you're looking forward to spending 3 days with your fitness friends, do you mean real life people, or online people? I don't have any real life friends who do any serious fitness training. Those are frightening numbers you mentioned about the Starbucks drinks.

Cathy - ooooh, those pumpkin spice latte's are unbelieveable!!! And the gingerbread latte's at Christmas time are pretty nummy too.

Wendy - The night Kate was born I asked the midwife what a reasonable expectation would be for starting to exercise again. She said to give myself 2 weeks of complete rest, then to start again at a level that was comfortable for me (I think she meant walking LOL!). She said my body would tell me if I was overdoing it or not. I've found that my recovery from this pregnancy was so quick that by time two weeks went by I was dying to start exercising again. Believe me, if I was feeling the same way I did after DD#1 I wouldn't be exercising again for quite some time. So far my body is telling me "thank you"! I'm feeling very good (albeit sleep deprived). Yes, I'm doing the high impact. Kate's doing great. She's just gone through a growth spurt, and has been eating almost constantly (it feels like), and sleeping in short spurts. We go to the midwife's this afternoon for a post-partum visit. I'm curious as to how much weight she's gained. That's very exciting about your arm definition!!! Great work!!

Hi all, late check in for me. I did MIS warm up, shoulders and abs then did PLB calves and floorwork with ankle weights on and cooldown. Weight is back down from the weekend so that is a good thing!!:7

Oh...Got done with all of the CTX upper body right before Days came on, and was SO ready for lunch by then! My arms are on FIRE and it's a great feeling! I've never done them all in one day before!

i did 1/2 of Lowmax today. the first cardio/step i have done in a long time. it felt pretty good:7

Hi again everyone, my workout is done. I have done Mix it Up of the Slim Series, the Turbo Jam 20 minutes workout (I love it, I like it), the killer abs and back of Michael Olajide and 1 hour in my stationary bike. I am sweating. Ready to have a shower.

Becky - The Starbuck's coffee is expensive. I don't believe in the "light versions".

Cathy- I think you like the freestyle system as much as I love Turbo Jam now.

Sandra- When I talk about my fitness friends I mean about you , my on-line Cathe's forums friends. I can share my fitness passion only with you.My "real" friends think I am crazy because I am always talking about fitness, Cathe , P90X, Turbo Jam etc.

MJ- The CTX upper body split is one of my favorite endurance weight workouts.
