WOW! Very late for this thread to be starting! I would have started it bright and early but I completely forgot! LOL :p

So it's cardio for me...either Low Max or Step Blast and some abs...will probably do it later though when Joey takes his long nap in the afternoon. If I had more oomph in me, I could have gotten it out of the way already this morning but I did not. I chose to be a slug in front of the tv and computer all morning instead. x(

Hey Michele,

How long does it take you to walk 5 miles? I have never walked that far so I am just curious! :) Treadmill or in the good old outdoors?

Last night I did MM and it was tough for some reason. I was tired and didn't feel so great, but I pushed through.

Today will be one of the workouts off the August Bootcamp rotation, the one with the 400 walking lunges, 400 crunches, 4 sets 25 dips, 8 sets 8 push-ups, etc. Wish me luck!
 
Good (Late) Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was LL and a 30 minute walk.
This morning I did CTX step with intervals (skipping the weight work), Coremax #1, and the new stretch dvd #1.
I did all the levitation holds and the full plank work!~ An accomplishment for me!:D

Am so glad it's FRIDAY!!!!!!

Hi everyone -
I think I'd better switch over to my old buddy Charlene Prickett for the upcoming week. I'm going to her "high adventure" in Alberta, starting next Saturday, so I kind of need to remind my body of her workouts. I am going to miss my Cathe workouts!

So - today is OFF.
This weekend, one Charlene workout each day, plus PUB on Sat. and either PLB or Leaner Legs on Sunday.

Today was supposed to be a 40 minute run, but I subbed Christi Totally Hot Cardio, and segment 2 of Coremax.

Saturday - Imax 1
Sunday - Coremax 3 and Stretchmax 2.

Today was a rest day and I got 8 glorious hours of sleep. I feel fantastic!

Tomorrow is kickmax on the rotation x( x( . Have never gotten to like that one very well. Maybe I'll do the challenge premix--that one is a little better.

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for asking---It takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to walk 5 miles outdoors. I vary my speed quite a bit as I go, so I couldn't tell you what my top speed is, but I average a mile in 15 minutes. I mapped out an area in my neighborhood that includes several hills so I feel like it's a pretty good w/o. I've also been using some Leslie Sansone WATP DVD's to mix it up. My best friend can cover a mile in roughly 12 minutes--she's a real powerwalker. I couldn't do that if my life depended on it. That would kill me--LOL!

I did various weight exercises for chest and back off the PS series, PUB and I also did PLB floorwork and abs off of Leaner Legs. Nice well rounded workout, lasting about 51 min.

I was down a pound this morning so that was a nice treat!! Now to just keep it there and go on down would be even nicer!!:)

Good Afternoon Check-In Readers

With my two kids school schedules, I need to exercise and do my Fly lady AM routine before checking-in. It may take a while to get the right mix of morning routine with these two kiddos in new schools.

Yestedrday I tried to do KPC pre-mix of cardio conditioning and KM Leg conditioning followed by abs. I did the whole work out as plannd, but but shouldn't have. KPC caused too much pain. So I will cross KB workouts off the list. The thing is, the kicks are fine it is the jumping in bewteen that gets my foot.

Today was supposed to be a 40" run. I did an intense 30" steady state bike workout maintaining my HR in the 175-185 range throughout the 30". Then I did 400 walking lunges and Core Max premix #3. That really is a "Tough" pre mix!

Today was KPC. I got rid of a little tension kickin' and punchin' - it was too much fun!

Hi everyone,

This morning I did Basic Step. I had PowerMax on the agenda, but was feeling really achy in the lower back and thighs, so canned it for the nice, gentle, short Basic Step workout. Turns out, BS made me feel so much better that by the end of it I was ready for a more intense workout. I think the back and hip aches are from HSCircuit yesterday, combined with the intermittent cramping I've been getting for the past week. The muscles needed a gentle day.

Jane - I hope each and every morning that my workout will start labour!! That would be just fine with me!!

Becky - TGIF!!!

Where's Katie these days? I don't think she's checked in for quite a while.

Just 20 minutes or so and I'll be off work thank goodness!!

Tammy - there are deer around here too. I saw one the other week walking up to the barn to feed the horse about 5:15 in the morning. It scared the crap out of me too because I wasn't expecting it to be standing there. Jasper was having a fit and I shined the flashlight at into the pasture and we made eye contact. I don't know who was more startled, the deer or me! It gots it's wits about it fast and took off!! As long as I don't encounter a skunk, which are pretty numerous around, I'll be happy.

Sandra - I'll keep my fingers crossed!! Hopefully you'll go soon. Pop in that HCXtreme DVD and see what that'll do!:+

I'll be getting my CM#2 w/o when I get off work, then it is off to the football game tonight. Y'all have a great Friday night!!!
 
Hello all! I'm still here. I took a 4 day weekend (an not a very healhty eating one either) last weekend and have been playing catch up. Here are my workouts this week:

M - IMAX 2
T - PUB plus 20 minute run
W - SB
TH - L&G plus abs
F - MIC (Cathe's rotation was supposed to be warm up and step combos from SJP, Cardio from CTX Kickbox and HI/LO only from MIC, but I love MIC so much that I just decided to do all of MIC instead.)
Tomorrow I will be doing CTX Upper body and 30 minute run.

I gained like 2 pounds over the weekend (it was a pig out fest) so I am trying to get myself back on track. I hate it though because it's like once you eat all that junk again you start to crave it again. At least I do. Yet at the same time it made me feel so sick after eating it since I don't eat like that anymore, so it makes me wonder why I crave it. Anyway, so far so good this week although Friday is the toughest night for me. It used to be our traditional "pizza and beer" night.:7

Sandra - Hope all is going well and both you and little baby and feeling good! It's almost here!!!

All right, chickie poos, I finished my workout, and here's what I did. I did the day off the August Bootcamp rotation with the 400 walking lunges, etc, but I split it into cycles like Bootcamp, so I did four cycles of 100 walking lunges, 50 jumping jacks, 100 crunches, two sets of 8 push-ups and 25 dips. Then when I was done, I didn't feel quite done, so I added some stuff from the 5 a.m. Fitness Fiesta. I did 5 minutes jogging on the spot, 100 toe touches and 2 minutes of low hover squats.

Last time I saw my quads, they were headed out the door with their suitcase.;)
