Daily check-in 05/07/2005

Good afternoon, everybody! :)

My workout schedule is a bit off this week, because I ended up having to take 2 days off in a row over the weekend. My family couldn't get everyone's schedules together and as a result I had to spend the night at my sister's house in the city (I live in the country and had ridden in with my parents- who went home long before fireworks). Luckily I had a change of clothes since I had planned on going swimming at my sister's apartment (never did go swimming, ironicially), but no workout clothes or PJs. It was a very interesting and stressful weekend. But, I did get to see the "good" fireworks in downtown Memphis so it wasn't all bad. ;)

This morning my period started. Surprise! I'm stalling awhile I wait for the naproxen to work it's magic, then I will do my workout.

Today is L&G + Step Heat warm up, segment 1, and cool down.

It's good to be home! :)

Logos...those 2 P90X workouts you did were my favorites!

Foodie Sue...yes once you get the choreography down in RS, it is really a fun workout.

Emily...IntervalMax and MIC are quite tough, but fun!

Angie...way to go with the intervals. I did some too.

Sandra...I think the BodyBlast workouts are so great because of all the premixes. I believe Kathryn doesn't like Buttercup either...:)...I guess I could use other music...Good luck bathing suit shopping. A very fit 7 month along Mommy to be!

Conni..Imax3?...you did great!!!

Katie...good news about the weight loss!

Annette...as I know lunges are not your favorite...:)...you did get thru them. A good start to Freestyle...And you don't have to lunge tomorrow!

I did GS floor legs and a 4 mile run with intervals. My legs feel very strong! Later I will do GS standing, abs, chest and back.

Good afternoon ladies! Time to get back into the workouts after a weekend of relaxing. I did HC Extreme hi/low intervals & PUB/PLB mix. Wowee that was tough. I couldn't believe the kick max blast challenge at the end. I swear I almost went into cardiac arrest :p Have a great week everyone!

Good Afternoon everyone.

I wasn't in the mood to have the you know what beat outta me today, LOL, so I decided to do Power Hour as opposed to Boot Camp. It's a great work out. I think I went a little too heavy with some of the weights though considering it's an endurance workout! I think I will need to lighten up a little next time. So glad I purchased that DVD though-all 3 work outs kick butt! }(

Gotta get ready to go to MIL's for dinner tonight.

Hey All! No workout today:-( I slept in this morning and hit the floor running to prepare for the day. I am facing a new challenge, trying to sleep when my eldest daughter isn't home yet. She was out at an event until 12:30 last night and although I knew she was with trustworthy people and being driven home by her friend's Mom I couldn't sleep, even after she was home I couldn't settle in x( .

I need a good kick in the pants tomorrow morning and a double dose of discipline to get my eating back on track. I'm feeling a bit moushy in the middle although my clothes are still fitting albeit a little more snuggly that I like. x( x(

Tomorrow will be better:) (she said hopefully!!!)

Awww Laurie, I remember those nights well... there was nothing like a good sleep knowing all your chicks were in their beds.

I just finished Bootcamp at 9 p.m. I had an appointment after work today and it threw everything off.

To shower, to bed, and hopefully to sleep....
 
Hello late night workout friends~

Laurie - I hear ya. I'm waiting for my 16-yr old to come home now. I don't even bother going to bed until I know she's home.

Wendy - great job on Power Hour! I don't think I've tried that w/out more than once. I'm eyeing BC for tomorrow.

I finished up the day with ME Upper Body and as soon as DD comes home, it's bedtime!
