Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is enjoying their workout and weekend. Didn't get to post yesterday after I worked out as I worked out late evening.

Saturday: Low Max, Gym Style shoulders,abs and Stretch Max segment 2.
I had some tightness in my upper back area and some of those stretches on the ball where you have your back on the ball really unkink your back and neck. You gotta love that if your upper back and neck are tight.

Today I was planning Gym Style Back plus biceps and S&H Legs but my legs feel a little fried from FRidays workout and Low Max and may replace S&H with a cardio and then do S&H legs tomorrow. Will post after I workout.

You've done some tough workouts!

Did Timesaver #5 (legs) and S&H Chest (went up with the weights to 11 pounds) and Shoulders. Was expecting a friend so didn't have time for the elliptical. Had a shower and then my friend cancelled. Maybe I'll do the elliptical after dinner.

Today was C&W. I am going to get a cell phone after church today. I just can't live without one anymore. What the heck did we do before they came along!:p

I have no workout to report for yesterday. GRRR! By the time I got home last night it was after 9pm and I was exhausted anyway. I COULD have done it in the morning but ofcourse I didn't...shame on me!

Hopefully today I will do better!

Morning all:

Cathy: you're inspiring! You make me realize I really need MORE Cathe workouts!

Dutchie: I've never tried an elliptical. Do you really enjoy it?

Carla: good luck with the cell phone. Seems to me that some people have had them surgically implanted:p

I'm not feeling at ALL motivated today. The weather here is a real mixed bag for the day - snow, rain, freezing rain. I was going to run but it's quite windy. Not sure what to do. I'll check back in when I've made up my mind.

Yesterday's run was tough but the thought of coming on here and posting that I gave up halfway through was mortifying! So I persevered and then did core work last night.

Going to price beds today. Mine sounds like it's going to fall apart every time I turn over!
 
Shelley, I love the elliptical as long as there is something to watch on the telly.... ;-) I can stay on it and get a really good w/o in for as long as the tv-program lasts ;-) can be Oprah, or an episode from CSI, whatever, as long as it holds my attention.

Hi good morning. Today I will try the basic step and body fusion dvd. I will substitute the tubing with the resistance band.A light workout is better than nothing. Have a great Sunday everybody.

I guess I will exercise. I sat on the couch thinking, na... take today off, then I get here and read and say, ... Geee,I guess I can do something. I just wish I had my rotation down the way I felt it was comfortable. I tried to copy the Beginner rotation to a calander but with it not starting on Sunday, threw me off and is still doing it. I don't know if this is an off day or an on. That's why I liked the day 1, day 2 set up. So.. Will see.

Don't you wish Church would come to you sometime? LOL... The thought of getting dressed makes me ugly. ...

Well, I decided to go with Step Blast this morning, instead of running. Later on, for lack of anything else, I'm going to do the weights and abs from Body Max. I really do need to order MORE Cathe:p
 
Hello Everyone. Not a good day for me. Once again, we are going through our taxes and once again I have too many questions, that my husband finally shut down the computer and told me to handle the taxes myself and I can pay for them to get done. Please read my post on Husbands on the Open Discussion and respond if you like - I am so frustrated! Maybe I am a control freak and need to ease off, but I just want to know and understand things....

Anyways, I need to get out of the house today, so I am going to go for a super long walk with the dog and lift weights for an hour, either Power Hour or MIS. Not sure which one yet and Kick max later - I have tons and tons of anger to burn off right now, and its a beautiful day to get started. I hope you all have a better day than I do. . .

I am starting a HUGE MISH MOSH for the next eight weeks. I put together a mix of HalHignons training guide for half marathon and Cathe's Feb. 2004 rotation. Its great - I am excited to start that, just wish I could kick my husband out for a week, I really need some alone time and need to re-focus my life!:-(

Hi Tybody, a mishmosh is a mix of things. On these boards usually refers to a mix of chapters from various Cathe workouts such that you have created a unique workout. The ones posted here are usually deadly especially the ones posted by aquajock}(
I don't know what the Halhigons training guide is however.
 
Hi ladies,

I had Low Max for today and I was going to try it one more time as is, although I never feel like I get a good workout from doing it. I always use an 8" step. Maybe that has something to do with it. Then I listened to the into while I was putting on my shoes, and Cathe said something about target heart rate zone. In light of that comment, I made Lox Max into circuit/weights Low Max and added some jumps during the step parts to keep my heart rate up. The workout was much more challenging and I'll continue to do it that way. I plan to do some abs alter today.

Triceps and Biceps for me this morning.
For me, personally.... going for a run here soon to work off the evil pizza I just ate (3 slices). Lets see....100+ grams of carbs. Gosh, I was so out of control today, and it was so much fun! I think I am just going to eat a salad for dinner and some tuna.
I eat clean 98% of the time so I can keep focused, I guess I deserve pizza once in awhile, but it still scary thinking that it may sabotage all my hard work and going straight for the ole' butt so I will feel better when I run it off. I think I am going to need to run 10+ miles to run it all off, but at least I have the energy now to run it off. Hubby is running with me though which will be nice because I can't let him leave me in the dust.....

I absoluetly hate when I do overnights. I was not prepared to be here at the hospital tonight, that meaning I came in at 2:30 and won't see home until after 7 AM on Monday Morning. Then try to rest, cause I sure won't sleep and then back to work for a 2:30- 11 shift again. I can't stand working like this but it's the only income I have. Then I eat like crazy cause there are no good food choices here at the hospital. And to think, today someone said the weight is just droping off me and I am an inspriation. ya, right now I have to eat crap!!! Even the buffalo wings and salad is not great but it beats other stuff I could get. and to top it off, today was a day off, now tomorrow will be another day off. I'm so bumming big time.
 
Good afternoon....I am late checking in today. Such a beautiful day I just had to sunbathe a bit...:)
I did a 10 mile trail run with a friend and then Stretchmax, the resistance band segment. It uses a pink one and I am glad I bought more! Very nice stretch and makes me realize, I need to do more!!

Sounds like good workouts for all of you....Reba...I hate thinking about taxes!!! YUK!!! We do get ours done somewhere but being self employed I have to keep track of alot of crap and I am a bit behind...:)...Carole
