---------- Daily Challenge Ideas ------------

Cathlete
I have been posting the daily challenges, and so far, seems like it is working out, and actually maybe being beneficial to us ! Anyway, I have several other ideas for daily challenges but I am VERY open to suggestions.

Please post your ideas on THIS thread !!!

Thanks...and I can't wait to hear about your recipe !!

Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not a fan of the recipe challenge for the weekend--I just don't see it as a "challenge". I will keep thinking for a bit and maybe come up with some other possibilities if that's ok. We'll see what everyone says.

Thank you for posting such great daily challenges this week. Your idea to start doing them was fantastic and I can't believe how many people have joined in! :D

Eat your greens day.......so double your veggie intake

Eat your FRUIT day....

NO SUGAR DAY!!!......

Pushups to failure day......see how many you can do and post

No Pop Day......

Extra Stretch day.....so actually strech after the workouts ;)

10 mins meditation day......

Maybe pick 7 really good ones and do them repeatedly in a month so we actually stick to the behaviors??

I need to increase my fruit and veggie and water intake, so maybe something like the following

Monday: Fruit challenge day.....double your fruit intake
Tuesday: Water increase day
Wednesday: Eat your greens day
Thursday: Fruit challenge day again
Friday: no soda day....water and tea!!!
Saturday: Water Challenge
Sunday: Vegetarian day - try to prepare without meat...

just an idea

no problem !!! I think we will eventually develop a set of challenges and just rotate through them, I guess. I have a couple more in mind, but not enough to keep us going.

Ooooohhhh--that one I like! I don't eat a lot of meat normally, but it would be a good challenge for me to have to cook a nice, big dinner sans meat!
(I eat a lot of minestrone/veggie soups and salads for dinner...I'm lazy...)

Allison

I'm not the cleanest eater in the world so I good challenge for me would be an "eat NO processed foods day".

Allison

Oh, I hear you Allison! A 'no processed foods day' would be the best for me, too! I mean really, how do all you moms of small children out there eat clean on a very regular basis? It's my one big down fall. "Hello, my name is Cristy, and I LOVE PROCESSED FOOD!" "Hello, Cristy" :9

Cristy,
You are too funny! I'm not a Mom, but I often wonder how all the moms out there eat so well. I am so lazy when it comes to cooking, and often too busy to cook nice meals so I end up eating canned soups or Lean Cuisines or something like that. To have kids to have to take care of and cook for is a challenge I'm definetely in awe of!!

Allison

The first suggestion that came to mind would be to spend the day not passing judgment ON anyone...just smile and carry on.

I guess my challenges are character related! :) I struggle daily not to think bad thoughts so this would give me some practice. :)

BTW, I like the other health/fitness related suggestions above.

I love all the ones that have been suggested so far!

I'm trying hard to think of some myself, but haven't come up with anything yet.

Some really good suggestions there.

How about a no TV day (not counting Cathe DVDs of course)?

A no shopping day?

I was going to try to keep the challenges to exercise and diet, but we will have to throw in these other ones once in a while !
