Cycle Hiit training

is there a way to use the cycle workouts as Hiit workouts? or are they alreday in that format but just not really labeled that way? I'm sure there is a way to adjust one or more of the routines to turn it into a Hiit workout, but i could use some guidance.

Hi there,
I don't think you could since Hiit workouts are timed work/ rest periods. You'd basically just be listening to Cathe's music but using your own timer and pushing yourself mentally. Pedal Power is the only one with a tabata section but it's only 4 minutes. If you want to branch out with other trainers Mindy Mylrea has a new DVD called Cycle Hiits that uses various methods and I really like it - she just doesn't have the best choice in music so I play my own. Maybe some others on the forum have a different view and could offer suggestions until Cathe answers?

Cathe cycle video are not hiit. I do studiosweatondemand downloads which I love they also offer streaming but I don't need that much spinning. THe streaming is 19 a month and the individual class download for non members is 8.00 each. I have 4 of them and love love love them. They are worth the price to me just for the music is great imo

I purchase the below workout as a download from them last summer it has hiit, tabata, interval its just a real fat burner. THey put it up on youtube for free sometime since I purchase it - They also offer a 7 day free trial if you want to try more from them. They also have 30 min cycle hiit stuff. This workout is hour

I use Cathe for everything else but after doing her spin for like 5 months needed some new workouts the download I have is found in 2 parts free on youtube

I agree with cafelattee, I use SSOD as well and they are quite the fat burners with various intervals/ hiit etc. Best music too but I always have to mentally prepare for the fast pace and minimal breaks. You should try the free week. They often have deals as well for 1st time subscribers,
Good luck,
Jamie
