CTX

I now work out in the garage so I have plenty of room (we Californians do not actually park CARS in the garage, ya know... :+), but when I was working out in the family room, I modified. A lot of the moves can be done in place, or side-to-side as opposed to all over the room. For the double grape vines, I did regular ones. And for the scoops I added height instead of lateral movement.

There are some moves that are defintely space hogs.
I I think the worst workout (I can't remember which, because they are all very similar) is the one where you do hi-lo around the step before actually using the step. Just don't have the step in the middle of your space for these.

I noticed that too (couldn't help to when I was grapevining into a couch and scooping into a chair). It aggravated me at first, not because of the workouts but because of my lack of space and i wanted to do the workout exactly like it is but I got over it and mostly I just do them side to side except the double grape vines, i don't remember what I modify those with. I think I just grape vined as far as I could to one direction, then just went back the other direction. it worked out. I've noticed that with most of the workouts that are a little bit older, I just seem to run out of room but I don't have that problem with pretty much anything from Bodyblast on.

You don't have to do any of the moves that make you go around the step. Just go from side to side. I've got around 8 square feet of space to workout and I've never had any trouble with CTX (as long as I just go side to side). There's no need to do double grapevines, or four steps to the right, etc. Do single grape vines back and forth or do two steps to the right and then two steps back again. If there are any higher impact moves that take up too much space from side to side, just make the move higher (rather than wider) so that you can keep it in your narrow space. CTX is great; don't give up on it. It's definitely space modifiable.
