CTX series...

So I just purchased this series...been reviewing the work outs... I can't decide which one I should start with? I am a beginner with Cathe so I guess I am looking for the easiest one and will work my way up the ladder from there...

Start with either AllStep or Kickbox. Those are good Intros To Cathe. But make sure to do all of them in a string, because of the way the resistance segments are placed on them.

I almost always defer to A-Jock, but I think for a beginner, the All Step tape is a bit tricky. She does some fancy footwork at the beginning that takes a bit of time to learn. I think I would do Step and Intervals or Kickbox as a beginner.

I agree with the previous poster and start with Kickbox & Step and Intervals. They are both a lot of fun, but not as tricky on the footwork. Have fun with it!!

I agree with kickbox or step and intervals. I love kickboxing so I do that one alot!! I am step challenged and some of the step work in this series is a bit tricky for me- but it's all modifiable if you need to like me

Whichever you do, just remember you won't get it down the first time & maybe not the next. Just get your feet wet & then you'll have them down pat before you know it.:)

I think I will go with the kick boxing first.

I am currently working on 3 step routines: basic step,body fusion & power max kind of simultaneously and I am actually doing quite well with all of them...Wouldn't wanna push myself into "step overload"...my head might explode!!:p lol

I recently got this series and I started with 10,10,10. I did this after previewing everything. It just helped me get a feel for the rest of the workouts. I really love this series. I Know that some people on this forum don't like the fitprime tapes, but I've been mixing them in with my CTX series and really like this combination of workouts. I've also been throwing PowerMax and MIS in with these tapes on days when I have a little more time. I'd rather do MIS than Leaner (AKA Meaner) Legs. Man, I have to psych myself up for that workout. I have to do Leaner Legs on the weekend because it is really hard for me. I don't have another tape I dread as much as I dread it. I know, It's great!!!!!x( :p
 
Hi Everyone!

I did CTX kickbox tonight. First of the CTX series to be attempted. I really liked it! I had to take out the impact but it was still a good work out...especially for my arms! OUCHEE! x( lol Loved it though! Thanks for the great advice,as always, ladies!:)
