CTX rotation

I have never tried a CTX rotation. I usually pick one of the tapes to do a cardio workout. What do you think I should expect if I were to do all 6 tapes for a month or so? I kind of feel like I'm floundering around looking for a rotation and thought I might give it a try.

Hi Beth,

The first thing I would expect from doing CTX as is would be sore knees. The cardio in these tapes is extremely high impact and fast! Fun, too, but too much on my knees to do all in one week for four weeks. If you don't have knee issues, then that won't apply...

The next thing I would expect would be for any recent strength gains you have made to either stay the same or perhaps go down a tad, since the weight work in these workouts is pretty brief. Tough, but short, and I think more of a maintenace program for strength, with an emphasis on endurance.

However, if you are looking to burn extra calories, doing cardio and weights 5 days a week with a killer leg workout thrown in there, should do the trick.

If you aren't used to this much Cathe cardio in one week, I'd suggest substituting a few less intense, softer-on-the-knees workouts for some of the cardio. If you are used to it, I'd say go for it and have fun. If you can stick with a rotation, this one is just ready made, full of fun moves. You can also expect more free time, since you get it all done in an hour or so each day.

Have fun!

Hi, When I first started on Cathe, I did a rotation of CTX workouts and had excellent results. I have often thought of trying it again, but I haven't as it is pretty tough to do these workouts on a daily/weekly basis. It's been a couple of years, but I think that is when my abs looked their best as it seems I lost some body fat in the mid section. I could definitely stand to lose there again.

Good Luck.
