CTX rotation

Hi all! I just received the CTX series for Christmas (yeah!) I was wondering how you rotate this series? Do you just do each tape once per week, if so is that enough strength training for each muscle group? Do you combine strength work from the different tapes as Cathe suggests at the beginning of the video??? Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi! There are alot of ways to incorporate this tape series into your workout routine besides doing the series as is. Since the cardio sections are short I've done the cardio sections in addition to a tape from either the PS or S&H series in one day. As far as using only CTX, most say you can do the entire series as is and see great results. I, however, felt that I needed to work each body part twice per week, maybe it was a psychological thing, who knows. Anyway, I used CTX in this way....

CTX Kickbox (entire tape)+ CTX 10/10/10 Triceps only
CTX LLA (entire tape)
CTX Step&Int (entire tape) + CTX All Step Shoulders and Abs only
Rest Day
CTX 10/10/10 (entire tape) + CTX Kickbox Biceps and Abs only
CTX Power Circuit (entire tape)
CTX All Step (entire tape) + CTX Step&Interval Chest only
Rest Day

This rotation is easier using the DVD's as far as rewinds/fastforwards go, but I still have only the VHS and I just cue up the tape for that day the night before so it's ready to go. I saw some good definition with this tape series. Maybe my body responds better to the higher reps, who knows, but I'll take it!

I am doing CTX rotation in a few rotations from now. I just set up my next few (each one is a month long) It will probably change a hundred times. But for CTX, I did the following: (all are from CTX series, just specified)
Monday
Step & Intervals & Chest
5 Day Abs

Tuesday
Kickbox & Biceps
5 Day Abs

Wednesday
10-10-10 & Triceps
5 Day Abs

Thursday
All Step & Shoulders
5 Day Abs

Friday
Power Circuit & Back
5 Day Abs

Saturday
Leaner Legs & Abs

I will add 20-60 min Treadmill run to any workout (2+ times a wk)
Yoga 1 - 2 times a week
pilots 1 time a week

Hope that helps,
Faythe

At first I just did the CTX one body part per week. Then I started to rewind it and did that CTX routine twice, back to back, immediately. After I got tired of rewinding I paired it with MIS. MIS is ordered chest, back, shoulders, bis, tris. So I did CTX chest and immediately followed it with MIS chest. The next day CTX back followed immediately by MIS back which was already in the correct spot. Etc. Jeanne
