CTX problems

I was sooo excited my hubby got me the CTX series 2 DVD pack. Last night I did 10-10-10 and it skipped chapters!! So I decided to go to the next one on the DVD - Power Circuit and that skips chapters too!!!! What gives? Anyone else have this DVD and does yours skip? I can play it backwards up to the point of skipping, then I have to press play to get the chapter to play. (does that make sense?) Talk about disappointing. I can understand if it was old. But brand spanking new and never used before? Should I use the pledge trick to try and fix? I haven't tried it in a new dvd player yet. That seems too complicated to move either all of my equipment to different rooms everytime I play a new dvd or moving the dvd player from one room to another. Any advice on fixing would really be greatful!!

I would e-mail SNM and tell them of the problem. They are probably taking the holiday today, so there may be a delay in them getting back to you. I've not heard any problems regarding the CTX DVDs. But it sounds like you got a defective one. I know the first thing SNM will ask is if it has the same problems on another player, so you may want to try that first.
