CTX Kickbox - what do you all think?

Ok, ladies, clearly I am having a total love affair with the CTX series lately. :) Today I did Kickbox, which for some reason I had not even noticed before... sheesh!

Anyway, I really liked this workout a lot. It was very much a drills-oriented workout and I felt like I had a lot of opportunity to practice my kickboxing form, which is something that I don't always feel like I get to do. My arms were absolutely fried by the end of the workout; not just from the drills, but also by the bicep weight work and PLANKS. I tell ya, there is nothing like holding a one-minute plank when you are shaking like jelly, lol.

So I haven't seem much discussion of this workout here, and I'm curious what you all think of it...

I find it's a good 'burner' after an upper body workout. I like the intensity for the short amount of time this workout take.

I just got the CTX series and did Kickbox only a few days ago. It's very similar to Cardio Kicks, which is one of my favorites. I really had fun doing it.

All the CTX workouts are nice and tough in a short amount of time. I really like this series. As others have said, the possibilities are endless with this one.
 
I really enjoy the whole series. I have been using them for a while. I still pull them out when I know I am going to have a busy week and not alot of time to train. I use the cardio portions alot as well, on a lite day or when I am tired. They are great, my favorite is 10.10.10.
 
How timely!!!

I've been doing CTX (and some Timesaver) this month and am really pleased with this series. The music is absolutely awesome and I love the short, but intense workouts. So far, Kickbox seems the shortest for me, but then it's the only one I've only done once. The efficiency of time is a godsend in a nearly frantic month!

Wow a bunch of us are doing CTX. We should have started a check-in! Alas the month is almost over.

I love the whole CTX series as well... It was my first Cathe purchase a few years ago - and I have never looked back.... Luckily I found her right when she was starting to accept pre-orders on the Intensity Series... of course back then I ordered them all on VHS.... which have now all been replaced with DVD's....

I have been using the CTX cardios for getting in 30 minutes of cardio in the morning to get used to getting up and working out at that time, while still getting in other workouts at night. It has been perfect... intense yet fun workouts!
