CTX has been a humbling experience

Wow - I thought after years of doing cardio, I was a fairly strong person.

But after my first week of CTX, I feel like I'm not all that strong! My muscles are feeling the workouts! I really have a strong love for cardio, and have always neglected the strength part of fitness - but am hoping CTX will be a great beginning to build muscle strength.

I FINALLY finished my first 'week' of the series, although it took more than a week, I needed a couple of days off to 'recuperate' - I thought Leaner Legs would be a bit of a break since it has no cardio. Oh my goodness was I wrong - I was dripping in sweat, and my legs were trembling so bad. I hope I'll be able to walk tomorrow!

I'm so happy with how this series has been put together, so far, it's been worth every penny and I would recommend it for anyone interested in starting to build up muscular endurance. My goal is to be able to make it through every rep!
 
You ain't lyin! I'm down to THREE workouts a weeks since I started using Cathe on a regualr basis. My body can't even handle a Firm tape or intermediate tape on my rest days. Lord knows the spirit is willing.

CTX is the toughest circuit workout I've ever done. It's probbaly THE toughest cross traing workout on the market! LOL!

I basically went from using the Firm almost exclusively to Cathe in the last two months and I'd only done her Wedding Video and Mega Step Blast a couple of times before jumping into the CTX rotation, and WOWZA! By the end of the week, my arms were really feeling it, but the next week, I was minmally sore, even though I was able to go up in weights (hoping to increase my weight again this week - I'm on week 3 of the rotation). I've noticed strength gains, endurance gains and besides that, this series is just so darn fun! Doing the series as-is (one tape a day with one upper body part except on Saturday, where I do Meaner Legs, I just love that tape) works out great for me. I was doubling up on the upper body work so I had a rest day in between, but this seems to be working well. Cathe is a genius at what she does, isn't she? :)
