CTX done this way?

There's an instructor where I work that, due to her recent schedule, has been doing almost all cardio with just a few weight sessions thrown in. She's lost alot of weight and really leaned up and is really selling me on the idea of maybe cutting down on the weights and upping the cardio. I'm thinking of several ways I can do this:

1) 1 hr of cardio 5x add CTX body parts, on the 6th day do Leaner Legs
2) 1 hr of cardio 4x, plus 2 days of full body weights (MIS< PH< ME)
3) 1 hr of cardio 6x plus 3x one of these weight tapes: PS series, PLB/PUB/ME, S and H, CTX upper/lower and PH

My head is starting to hurt from the possibilities! Which rotation would give me my max amount of cardio plus getting weight work in that will at the very least maintain the muscles I have now. The ultimate goal being to lose my body fat/extra weight and thus gain more definition. Can't wait to hear what the general public has to say!

Oh, me too, I've got about 15 to lose and I like your ideas here. I'll be interested in what the others think, too. Let me know which one you decide to go with?

Cheers, Marcia :)

I think it's great to change things every once in a while. Going heavy on the cardio can be a good idea if you've been doing a lot of weight work in the past. Personally, I found just doing CTX was very helpful for losing weight. It seems to have the right combination of weights & intense cardio to do the trick.

Ok how about this idea:

1- 1/2 hr cardio, PS CST
2- 1/2 hr cardio, PS BBA
3 - 1/2 har cardio, PS Legs + floorwork from PLB (instead of the floorwork in PS)
4- OFF
5- 1 hr cardio
6 - BodyMax
7- 1 hr cardio

That gets me lots of cardio but good attention to the muscles as well. Will the strength focus of PS interfere with the more endurance focus of Body Max?

I've done a similar rotation before. I think you should do your rotation like this instead:

1. 1/2 hr cardio, PS CST
2. 1 hr cardio
3. 1/2 hr cardio, PS BBA
4. a light yoga tape, light stretch tape or rest day
5. 1 hr cardio
6. 1/2 hr cardio, PS Legs + floorwork from PLB (instead of the floorwork in PS) *make the cardio kickboxing or hi/lo not step*
7. BodyMax
8. Additional rest day before you start with the rotation again.

The PS tapes wipe you out especially if you're going to do more cardio. I think you should wait a day in between PS workouts. This is just MHO. Let us know what you end up doing.
