CTX Choreography

Is the choreography on the rest of the CTX DVD as crazy as it is in All Step? I couldn't get the moves down, so needless to say I didn't get a workout :(

I'm considering getting CTX, but if the choreo is that nutty, no way!

Hi Marianne! I am a big choreo klutz! I was able to get all the choreo down fairly fast in the CTX. I also had lots of trouble with All Step and have never tried it again. Hmmm, maybe I need to dig it out & give it another go? I know after doing old tapes for awhile, the newer tapes seem to come easier once you learn Cathe's style. Good Luck! CTX is awesome!

The Choreography is pretty easy in all of these. I am a klutz too. I thought that I would never get Ryhthmic step. I just kept trying till I got it. I felt I got a workout even if I didn't end up where I was supposed to be. I like All Step. I know what you mean though. It is fun once you get it though. I always feel like"I paid for this workout I am going to learn it." :) Really, I think you would like this series.

All Step is by FAR the most challenging. I'm another step klutz and haven't mastered that one yet...but the other workouts are much easier. If you don't pick up choreo quickly (like me), you'll want to preview each workout and practice the new combinations a little, but they're not hard. I started with Power Circuit.

Have fun,
Allison

The first step routine in All Step is the most intricate, I think, in CTX, and it's understandable how that can easily put one off. I didn't get that my first few tries either. Try other step routines in the CTX series first. Power Circuits was already mentioned. How about Kickbox or Step and Intervals?

I felt like the kickbox and step and intervals weren't too bad either. I've only been thru these once and the only one I just stood there looking like DUHHHHHH,... was all step. I just couldn't keep up. Hmmm a challenge. You know I just can't stand it when I can't get the moves down. Now I am on a quest.

The first bit of choreography in All Step is very fussy and I don't find it particularly intense but boy does this work out build until you 'go for it' with easy but intense choreography, a last blast of Power 15's, 7's and 3's! I have grown to love this workout and always have a great cardio workout when I combine the step portions of All Step and Step and Intervals, woo hoo, that'll put a shine on your brow}( :7
The cardio in CTX is awesome, versatile and challenging and the weight training holds up equally as well. I mish mosh workout with this series quite often with great results and that's on VHS, the variations on DVD sets my mind reeling!! Ahh shucks, now I want to get my credit card out...........:p
Obviously I say 'You Need This Series:) :p :)!!! ENJOY!!!!

Take Care
