CTX anyone still doing them ?

Hi,

Gosh, its been a long time since I've posted here. I've started to do the CTX workouts off and on the last 2 weeks and I am really enjoying the short but effective cardio, weights and its all done in less than an hour and some shorter than that. I swear I am seeing results in my arms again too. Maybe that's just me! I do have to be careful though because after taking a break from working out / cathe in general my knees bother me from time to time. So tomorrow is a TJ workout and back to CTX on Thursday. I do need to re-purchase Power Circuit though, mine is messy towards the end.

My stats are wrong now, sadly I gained around 25 pounds and getting back at it to re-lose the weight. Summer has been hard and I am just doing my best but it sure feels good to be worked again & see results. I also wasn't working out like I used to so trying to get back to it, so far I am at 3 days this week :)

Anyway just thought I'd see if anyone still does these workouts ?

I LOVE CTX & thats why I cant wait for new 4 day split.
I use CTX as either just cardio or just weights as I split my days.. LOVE doing CTX Strength as 1 part per day and either do it 2x thru OR mix it with one of Cathe's full body DVDs and just use the part I am working on. I have learned that less is more for me with cardio so I do short ones 3-4x a week but make sure I work intensely.

Thanks! I am watching some previews now and wondering what I want to buy. I have thought of buying the new 4 day split but I haven't bought anything since the hardcore series ( which I am sorry, didn't like so I sold most ). So I am wondering now if I want Butts & Gutts or the 4 day split. I am just tired of all the high intensity all the time but with the CTX the cardio is short enough it doesn't bother me. Any other thoughts or suggestions ?

Hi Laura! I checked out your pictures! Great job!

I really enjoy Body Max 2 's cardio section. I like to do either the warmup and the first 2 cardio segments, or the warmup and the 2nd and 3rd cardio segments. Either way it makes for an approximately 35 minute workout.
 
I still use them occassionally, when I know I am going to have a busy week and not alot of time. I am always amazed at how they still get my heart pumping, especially 10-10-10.
 
I still use them occasionally: it's a great concept, and I love the weight work, but there is too much step and too much impact for me to use them regularly.

I'm actually hoping that the 4-day split will help me get more use out of CTX, since I can sub the low impact step and kickboxing for some of the CTX workouts, but still do the CTX weight work.
 
I still do them, I usually do 2 of the aerobic ones on my aerobic days & then I use the upper body sometimes when I do butts & guts:+
