The PS series uses a bit heavier weights with slower reps and long rests in between sets. The CTX focuses on just the opposite, slightly lighter weights, faster and higher number of reps and less time between sets. I love the variety. For me, I found that I got some of my best definition doing the strength portions from the CTX series twice a week. But, everyone is different so you've just gotta try it and see what works for you.
