Cross Train Express Question

I know this collection is an old one, but I wanted to see how everyone likes it. I used to have All Step (came with the step years ago) and I loved it except the quality was terrible (static, sound problems, etc.). This was on both VCRs. Does anyone have the 6-pack series on DVD? Do you have the same problems? After reviewing the program line-up on Cathe's website, it seems like it is the production quality. I wanted to get everyone's opinion since this collection and one two other DVDs are the only ones that I am missing out of Cathe's AWESOME collection. I would hate to miss out if this collection is a must have!

Thanks for your time, feedback, and information (in advance:D )

Happy Holidays, too!

I have the Cross Train Express series on DVD and I very pleased with it. I upgraded from VHS awhile back and I think the production quality is great. They are my "go to" workouts. I have never really tired of them and use them most often as add-ons to other workouts. IMHO, they are a worthwhile investment.

Hope this is helpful...

I have it and I love it!! I typically use at least part of this every week. It has a great breakdown of upper body..a full 10 minutes per upper body part...plus a great leg workout...plus 4 ab sections...plus there is a little bit of everything for cardio...What is great about the cardio is that all the routines are under 40 minutes so they are great for days you don't have a lot of time....Can you tell that I like this set? The production quality is of course not as good as more recent DVDs, but I don't have a problem with static or anything like that. If you have Cardio Kicks...the production quality is about the same. Anyway, good luck and I hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your help. I guess I have to wait until Friday (when I get paid- LOL) to order that series a long with the calendar and about 10 sets of stickers. Take care!:)

I love the weight workouts in this series. They are short, yet effective. Cathe is also very motivating and energetic (without being 'too perky.')

I also love the concept, but I'd like to see a different execution. Of the 6 workouts, 5 have high impact, and 4 include step. That may be too much for many people (it is for me...even changing some of the higher impact step moves to lower impact in some workouts, I couldn't go beyond 2 1/2 weeks because my knee was talking to me).

If you can stand the impact (and/or that much step during a week) or you don't mind modifying some of the cardio somewhat, then it's a great series.

Also, if repetitive music bores you, the music in this may get on your nerves, because quite a bit of it is repeated between workouts (and also shows up on CK and CM).

Thanks, Kathryn. I don't know if I can handle that much high-impact as I already have pre-existing knee trouble when I do step more than 3 times per week. I guess it is something to think about before Friday...

Thanks again for all your help.:)
