Crazy, strong & loving it for September!!

I didn't get a workout in last night things a little crazy. Tonite is cardio but I really need to do wts I haven't done them since last Saturday but its so hard to do those at the gym on my own I feel so lost without my trainer.

Nora-sorry to hear about your troubles I hope things get better soon.

I just finished my workout for today, and will now check in.

GS-Back, Sh & Bi's- Premix#1- Timesaver= 36 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 295

CrossFire- Timesaver Fitness Blast/Plyo/Tabata/Core #9= 33 Min
Met Value= 9.0
Calories burned= 405

Total Calories Burned= 700 :cool:

I think I'll see if cutting back my workout schedule to five days a week and try to keep the workout limited to a max of an hour to an hour and 10 minutes max. I will try to keep it under than and do as Cathe's newsletter suggests and opt for more HiiT workouts or Tabata's three times a week and weights on the others and maybe adding in an extra day of legs focusing on floor work. Oh well, that's my new idea we'll see if it works. I'm done for this week. I will attempt resting the rest of the week, and since I fell during CF it will be nice to have an extra day rest.

Hi all, sorry I haven't checked in.

I have been miserable. I have been out of commission since last Wednesday. I took both Thursday and Friday off work and did nothing but sleep and read. I am finally feeling human again. Even though the antibiotics started making a difference almost immediately, I fought a cough for several days. Finally yesterday I didn't hardly cough at all. I still have a lot of crap going down my throat and still a bit dizzy, but overall, I am much better.

I am going to work today but didn't workout. I still don't have the energy to get up that early and run or do yoga. I'm hoping tomorrow I can start back.

I hate sinus infections. They suck.

Hope you are all doing great, I haven't had time to catch up on what you all have been doing.

Good Morning,

I wanted to get up and go to spin class but I am still not sleeping well its been at least a month or more since I had a good nights sleep. Tonite I will go to the gym and do some cardio and then go home and do KCM Muscle Definition. I am going a little wt crazy this week I am doing MD and then her Split Sessions Upper one day lower one day and then Platuea Buster then doing the wt machines at the gym anyone think this is overkill, I plan on doing cardio everyday.

Debbie-my grandson has had a runny nose and nasal drainage all weekend he hasn't been allowed to have visitors.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Had a busy weekend... Threw a big birthday party for all 3 of my september born boys on Saturday. And then worked last night... Very hard bad night too.

Today I started week 2 of January Total Body Transformation Rotation. I did STS Meso 1, Week 2, Shoulders Chest BIceps. Good workout! i'm enjoying STS again. I did the Extended Stretch as well.

Debbie: You got hit hard!Hope you're back in it tomorrow.

Roxie: Poor grandbaby!!! Good job with the weights!

Belinda: I can't even remember doing BBL Body Sculpt. I might not have done that one before .. SOunds like a good one!

Nora: I'm also changing my workouts to Weights and HiiTs, per Cathe's newsletter!! It's hard to scale down to the shorter HiiTs, it really is!!!

I got up this morning and went to the gym and did the elliptical and the came home and did KCM Split Session Upper Body Split and it makes me wonder why I ever got a trainer that workout kicks butt.

Today was Turbo Barre Lower Body Express Premix. Plus I did a little bit of Bob's Cardio Rev w/ Kettlebells. That barre work is crazy!!! But good crazy.

Roxie: I love KCM's workout lately!! She does kick butt!

Nora: And I see you're doing KCM too!!! I wonder how that bonus is on the Cardio Quick Fix, is that the Abs and Lower Body work?

Nora - I like the shorter workout schedule. I don't see a difference if I do longer/shorter workouts. "" Less is more"" Took me awhile to relize and understand it.

Belinda- Cardio Axe is fun, isn't it? I liked it and Leandro's accent didn't bother me at all. I remember reading some people didn't care for his accent. I also read in the reviews that some people didn't care for Cardio Axe, but I thought it was fun. It was not hard core cardio like TTM or CF but it is fun and its nice to have other options for different moods in ones fitness library. Enjoy, BBL and have fun with it. ;) Its a struggle for me to change my mind set to switch to shorter workouts. I did a year ago do 2 hour to 2 and a half hour workouts six days a week. I forced myself to shorten it to an less than 2 hours a day. My aim is to keep workouts under 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes total and shorten it to five days a week, with an occasional Saturday workout only a short HiiT and nothing more. Man, it is tough wrapping my mind around that but I think it will do me good and probably help with fatigue and even help with timewise as well. Great workout today Belinda and have a blast with BBL it is fun and it works!;) Of course I could never ever stop doing Cathe, KCM, Turbo Fire, Les Mills pump. It can be fun to sprinkle them in with whatever strikes your fancy at the time workout wise. Variety is key I think to keeping workouts fun and fresh. Take care;):cool:

Chris- Bravo on today's workout with Turbo Barre Lower Body Express Premix and some of Bob's Cardio Rev w/ Kettlebell. I have wondered what people thought of his Kettlebell workouts. Yes, I am so loving KCM's workouts especially the two new ones. Oh and that bonus is no joke and I love the standing ab work she does on both of the new workouts. PB is to me definitely a metabolic workout and a challenge that will continue to burn calories long after the workout is over. I all the premixes and the lengths of them so its easy to do them as a premix or individual workout or just as an add on to something else your doing. I love that versatility and how that is a plus. Anymore I'm so spoiled with Cathe and KCM's always having great premixes with their workouts its like getting additional workouts free. I'm now a snob about workouts that only have one workout on the dvd or offer no premixes. Yep, Cathe and KCM has spoiled me. I have to really love a workout for me to buy it if it doesn't have either of those features. Great workout today and ditto on loving KCM's new workouts too!;):)

Roxie- Great workout you did today on eliptical at the gym and then doing KCM's Split Sessions Upper Body Split. Yes KCM is really great and packs a lot of workout in a small amount of time. I love how time efficient her workouts are and that each dvd has to workouts on it and premixes. That is a winner in my book and her workouts are a challenge. If the weight work doesn't seem to make you work just go up a little in the weights as needed and that challenge is front and center. Great workout today Roxie and I hope that your precious little guy feels better ASAP~:) How's your daughter doing? I hope she's getting her strength back and rests when the little guy is napping. Morning everyone,

I did the Butt Bible + High & Tight and Tummy Tuck last night. Today I will do High & Tight and Tummy Tuck again.

Nora - I agree, Cardio Axe is fun. You are right, it's not as high impact as TTM or CF. I am tired of doing endless jumping jacks to get my HR up. All this high impact workouts are not helping me with my weight loss any faster. I am not losing 1 pound? What's up with that? Did the 2 hour workouts a day help you lose weight? I find the more and the harder I work out, I don't see any/or hardly any results!! I saw a film on youtube awhile back, about more intense/shorter workouts rather spending hours and hours working out. The end result was, people that worked out shorter lost more weight than people spending a lot of time in the gym? I will see if I find the film on youtube again. Just this weekend I told my husband, I don't understand....my sisters in Germany don't work out. All they do is go for walks a few times a week. They don't have a weight problem, WTH? Less is more, I guess. About Leandro's accent, glad you are not hearing mine.:p Mine is very strong too. LOL! Have fun with your workouts and good job yesterday.

Finally got a workout in today. I didn't have a great workout, congestion going down my throat and coughing a bit, but I did something. I chose Cardio Coach #3 and just babied myself with it. I did get a good sweat, but didn't get my heart racing like I normally do. Blood pressure feels a bit high and I'm sure that's due to the drugs I'm on right now.

DH and I just got a phone call that his mom in Fl isn't doing so well, the doc given her a few day's to live. She's been in the hospital for a few weeks. DH and I will fly to FL tomorrow. I will do my workout for today and tomorrow. Will take my laptop with me, at least I can get my workouts in.
