My abs are really sore from MIS Abs yesterday. Never fails!

That is all...

Belinda - Excellent weights girl! You are rockin' this rotation. I updated the workout sheets and added weeks 7 and 8. If you want me to resend it to you, pm me your email address. :)

Last night DH and I went and ran with a group - it ended up being lots of fun and I swear 4 miles has never flown by so fast!

Not sure what's on tap for today. May try to run at lunch then legs after work or chest/back and legs tomorrow. Just not sure. Trying to fit everything in before leaving for Seattle kind of stinks.

Debbie & Belinda - Holy smokes ladies!!!!

Nora - hope your aches are better today.

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is TF 45EZ and Stretch 10 and since I promised Debbie that I would get them done today. I also want to throw in some abs.

Debbie-awesome wts. and if you worked your abs more often they wouldn't hurt mine never do.

Belinda-awesome wts.

Heather-sounds like a fun time. I hear you on getting all your workouts in I usually end up spending Saturdays playing catch up but it is not going to happen this week.

Chris-I don't know if you saw my post yesterday I believe I am going to do 4DSs splits and L&G floor work.

Just a quick check in!

Debbie - AMAZING, girl! WTG!That's a lot of weight for BB rows! I think I reached my limit today with back exerices, maybe I feel stonger next week? Of course, I want it, lol! I will PM you my email address. Thanks in advance!

Heather- very cool, running with a group. Have fun with your run later.

Roxie - LOL, about your comment to Debbie. That's funny! Enjoy your workout tonight.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

I'm on auntie duty today - have to take my sis for some more dr. appts today so I am off from work. Kind of nice, actually - aside from the crying baby, which isn't nearly as bad as facing a job that I hate ;)

I got up and went for a run with Scott - we were aiming for 5 miles or so but only got to about 3 or so when it started to rain so we ended up turning back early. My legs felt like lead anyway, after STS legs yesterday, feeling some major DOMS action!! I did come home and do Core Fusion (see my note to Roxie below) and was surprised to see that I burned 250 cals doing the 40 min workout, plus the 300 from the run. Not too shabby all things considered given my current at-home sitch and all. I'll take what I can get at this point!!

Belinda - nicely done on those weights! AND - I totally love the abs from B&G, too!

Debbie - holy cow, those are some intense weights, way to rock it - how awesome must it feel to be lifting heavier than you thought you'd return to? Awesome!

Heather - I'm so glad the run with the group went well, I had a feeling it would ;)

Roxie - you'll be proud of me and my ab work, this week! Second time already on abs and this was a 40 minute ab workout from Core Fusion (called Pilates Core) which I LOVED. I promise I'll be sticking with it from now on, just you watch ;)

Nora - hope you're feeling better today!!

Hi to everyone else!!

Jess-WAY TO GO WITH THE ABS. Where did you get those workouts sounds interesting?

Quickie post for now. I am procrastinating a trip to walmart and a busy afternoon, ugh..

I had to restrain myself from doing an HiiT today. I keep reminding myself it's RECOVERY week, and I want to do easier stuff.

I ended up with Turbo Jam 20 minutes (Turbo Fire's ROOTS!) and then did Stretch 40 from Turbo Fire.

Have to say, Belinda and Debbie, your weights BLOW my mind! that is crazy heavy!!!!!

Roxie, good plan with that weight work! 4 DS is a great choice to go with TF.Quicker, but tough if you go heavy!

Oh, and Nora, I saw this segment on The Today Show this morning. It was on David Osmond (donny's son I think?) . I only saw the tail end of it. Anyways, he has MS , and I'm sure you heard of him, but his story amazed me! Reminded me of you, with all your positivity!

Ok, better run!

Belinda - Got your pm. :)

Heather - Nice going with your run! Glad it went by fast! LOL!

Roxie - Hmmm, do I detect a bit of sarcasm with your response to my abs? LOL! Yea yea, I know. If I worked them more they wouldn't be sore, yadda yadda yadda... I like when they are sore. It's very hard for me to get them sore so when they are I bask in the DOMSness. :p

Jessica - Nice job on your run and ab work! Were you able to sleep all night last night? I hope so, I'm hoping your sister is now taking more care of her baby then you are. You are a saint!

Chris - Nice job taking it easy this week. I usually welcome a rest week. LOL! You don't have to tell me twice not to do a hard workout when I don't have to. :D

Nora - Hope you are feeling better today!

Debbie-maybe just a tad bit of sarcasm.

Well I went home and got in 4 miles at lunch today. It is so pretty out, but man I underestimated the wind!

Debbie - LOL yes glad it went by fast too ;)

Chris - You're too funny - I probably would have done HIIT even on a rest week...oh wait..I'm sure I did

Jessica - enjoy your day away from the office! I can't believe you tried to run the day after STS legs. I was always doing good just to walk!

Roxie - I used to take Core Fusion classes at Exhale Spa near me but it was just getting hard to get there (its about 40 mins from my house) and expensive. They recently put out a series of DVDs that mimic the classes - and they are pretty darn close to the class itself. Best part is I got the three-pack of three different workouts (once is all thigh/glute/core, one is pilates core, and one is full body toning - but all three really focus on core above all else). You can do the whole DVD which is about 50 mins or do one of the 5 10 mins segments if you're short on time.

So far, LOVE them and they were pretty cheap: http://www.exhalespa.com/default/Core/DVDs/Default.aspx

And now back to Cathe talk, sorry ladies. ;)

Hi ladies!

Late post for me. Work was super-crazy and DD had a doctor's appt this afternoon. Ugh, and I found out today that I have to go on a business trip next week. Already stressing about getting my workouts in.

I'm supposed to do Chest, Shoulders & Tri's tonight. I think it's D19. Not really feeling it for some reason though. This is my second round of M2 and I think I'm ready to move on to M3. Maybe I'll "feel it" once I get my booty downstairs...:p

Have a great night everyone. Sorry I don't have time for personals. I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow.

Hi girls!

I did it again I typed everyone's personal replies and then bumped the darn clr button and lost everything.:( I feel bad about this. I'll have to go rest for a bit and see if my right hand will let me try it again for personals.

Nora, don't worry about personals! Get some rest, girl. BTW, nice workout today.

Good night,

;)Hi girls!;)

Ok take two on personals. Thank you to everyone expressing well wishes and or concern. I'm hanging in there its just been tough for me to fight through this above and beyond my usual MS fatigue I've had lately.

Belinda- You are killing me with those killer heavy weights you are lifting. WTG, you are wonder woman. Awesome weights today and awesome workout, you rocked it!:eek:

Debbie- Wow woman! You rocked that workout and the weights big time, cudo's!! You are amazing girl with those heavy weights and a fabulous inspiration for us all. Bravo!!!:)

Heather- Congrats on your four mile group run! That does sound like fun, good for you to get that run in. If you can do weights tonight that's just gravy, awesome job. Thanks for your well wishes. I am feeling a little better today.

Roxie- Great job on TF 45EZ and Stretch 10 and also getting abs in there, I know its not always easy so bravo to you. Nice workout today, WTG!;)

Jessica- I hope the little one took it easy on Auntie today. Babies are so cute and fun, ok except when they cry and you wish there was a mute button. Now, there's a million dollar idea, right there:p Just kidding. My babies are now 14 and soon to be 16 years old. The youngest was collicky (sp?) up to age 3. Can you say sleep deprived much, LOL!!! He'd only sleep if he was being held and rocked and if there was no noise or white noise in the room, ugh talk about tough. I hope all is well with your sis and her baby. Cudo's to you for getting in a nice run in the midst of all that you have going on just now, WTG!!! Hang in there with your job, I know some bosses or jobs really push one to their limits. It sounds like the baby is lucky to have such amazing aunties.;)

Chris- I had not seen the David Osmond interview on The Today show, but I did check it out online and watched the video of his interview. I agree with everything he said, it was a very honest interview. I know that for myself living with MS its not easy and every day is an unknow in terms of what physical abilities you will have from day to day. When I first had my attack of MS it was my balance being non-existant impairing my walking to the point I walked like I was a knock down drag out drunk. I also could not use my right hand to grip anything at all and not even write my name. Losing your ability to be well, you to function is a very sobering thing. MS has taught me that movement is a gift even if it is with pain, which is my daily reminder that I'm not like everyone else. MS, is a disability that may not always be obvious to others. I know that it bothers me when people say oh but you look so good you aren't diabled, or you can't be disabled because your not in a wheel chair. I, like David Osmond have ongoing pain which is now my new normal. I too have been told by my neurologist that my MS appears to be in remiscient. That can change at any time. When I was first diagnosed my decline was so rapid and severe, that my doctor was concerned I'd be in a wheel chair and need a home nurse to look after me. I was determined to fight the best way I could when my doctor told me that exercise in MS patients can help improve strength and balance. I've been on a mission ever since. I do my best to workout daily no matter what. My mornings may be a struggle to get my legs to work to walk into the next room but I do what I need to get my legs functioning so I can workout. I am on a MS treatment drug, Avonex, and that has been beneficial to me but I still have to fight on.
Regarding your fun recovery week workouts today, they sound like fun. Just the sort of light workouts and great stretching. Turbo Jam may seem a bit nostalgic after doing TF but still lots of fun and great music. Its all good and the TF stretch 40 is really great and always feels so good when your done, great job on today's workout.;):D Thanks for your kind well wishes as well.:)

Melissa- Wow, its been a crazy busy day for you. Maybe, it would be a good day to take a unschedule day to rest. I know that upperbody is tough, trust me I have doms still from PUB done Monday. I feel your pain on that one. Maybe its better to take a night off and rest then get back into it the next day. Either way I know you'll be your usual amazing workout amazon cathlete that you are. Have a good night;)

Ok girls, Phew! I was finally able to do personals. I guess the spirit is willing but the hands are not sort of thing is what's goingon with me. MS, is never boring that's for sure. I've been shopping for a cane that I really need now with the major fatigue that makes all my MS stuff magnified and worse. Oh well, there's always another day. Have a great night girls, sorry about the lack of personals lately its just been tough for me physically lately.

Seeya at tomorrow's check in.;):)

Hugs to everyone!;):)
