Need some suggestions. I don't know how many of you ride bicycles, but I have a friend who's birthday is next week and she is an avid rider. What could I get her that pertains to her hobby? Any thoughts? I know she wants a HRM but those are a bit too expensive. I can't think of anything else, though.

What's your price range? I know my hubby is always game for new cycling jersey (but they can be pricey). Then there is layering gear like arm or leg "warmers" can't recall what they're really called though. Maybe find a shop she likes and get her a gift card there.
Hi Girls!
Today was cardio day for me, so I did Step Moves! I swear, I could do that finished challenge at the end forEVER! it's so fun! I REALLY need to practice that triple step over the step when I'm NOT doing the workout. I always forget, but I never can do it. I am just lunge/jumping over the step instead. Ugh!
Also did abs. My intentions were to do the Weights part of Weights & Plates abs and then the Med Ball Abs (without partner). I got through the weights part and called it a day! omg, that is a hard work out!
Belinda: I bet you kicked it on legs and calves today!
Debbie: Those weights, once again, amaze me! You got some strong legs there!! ... Hmmm..no good ideas for your biker friend's bday. Not knowing what she has, probably a GC to a bike store would be best.
Roxie: How could you pass up working out for Margeritas and dinner? You made the obvious choice. It is hard when you have so many distractions. Hope things get better!
Heather: It is raining today, and I would have loved to run. Oh well. My legs have some pretty decent DOMS from STS Trisets yesterday. So maybe a run would not have been so great anyhow. Enjoy your rest day!! really!!
Jessica: Cardio machines aren't my thing either. But with music, anything can be better! Have fun tonight at Kick class! Glad to hear your sister is doing so much better..
Nora: NICE workout yesterday! And all that busy-ness! I hate days like that. It must be so hard to walk your puppy like that. Would you consider obedience/training classes? My Buddy (chocolate lab) can be such a good walker on the leash. BUT, if he sees a dog, or gets excited (as in our walks at the park) , he pulls SOOOO hard and is all over the place. 75 lbs of pulling force has knocked ME off my feet a few times!

Debbie-I don't have to be to work until 9am and I am hoping with the time change next week I can get up and get it done in the mornings. Right now its still dark outside at 6am and I don't want to get up, its to warm under the covers. I promise to really try hard to get up.
You really should. Once you get use to it it's nothing. I'm usually up by 5:30 and start my workout around 6:30. I don't have to be to work until 9 either. And then you can go home after work and not worry about having to do a workout. Spend all the time you want with dh. Once you get use to getting up early, it's not so bad, I promise.

STS Cardio: HiiT 40/20= 30 Min
Met value= 10.0 feels like 20.0 LOL!!
Calories burned= 445 it feels like there should be at least one or two zero's added to that 445, making it 4,445 at least, right? I know ya all agree with me on that one.
CTX- Upper Body Split= 56 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 459
OMG! That is one tough upperbody workout. Its high reps which surprised me I was all set to go STS heavy and then there were all these high reps and it humbled me so I went with the weights Cathe and crew used on it. My muscles still were shaking like jello when I was done. I did skip the deadlifts since I did them yesterday and my low back was still sore from those. Deadlifts and my low back don't always play nice with each other.
Total calories burned from today's workout= 904! Yep, stick a fork in me I'm done!
