Good morning,

I did a lot of stretching cleaning my windows yesterday, that's was the only stretching I did yesterday.:p I did take my dogs for a walk. I will get that yoga/stretch & abs in today!

I will be back and catch up on personals!

HA! I love your "workout" Belinda. Enjoy it!!

I am getting my butt kicked with STS M2 this week and I am LOVING it!! I stupidly thought it would be a good plan to go to Ride and THEN do my biceps/back workout from M2 but upon waking this morning and feeling how utterly sore I still was from my previous STS workout, I nixed Ride. I knew that if I came back to try to cram STS into my morning after Ride, I'd be doing myself no favors. My STS workout would suffer and to be honest, I'm really digging these strength gains I'm seeing and don't want to mess with it.

SO I did STS followed up with abs from Core Fusion and it was a GREAT workout if I do say so myself! And now my legs are nicely rested and ready to take on the 5-miler for Thanksgiving tomorrow!! Yipee!!

It's also a half day of work for me so I'm in a very thankful spirit as you might imagine ;)

Last night I went ahead and did my first STS leg workout. I ended up having to do disc 6 b/c disc 3 wouldn't play all the way. I forgot how quickly the leg workouts go! So far I can still walk today at least :D OH and I HATE wall squats.

Front Lunge + Back Lunge - body weight
Alternating 45 Degree Front Lunge - 20's (struggled to keep form at the end)
Leg Press (dumbbell, High Step) - 25 (thought this would be too light, but it was a pretty good weight)
One Leg Elevated Lunges - 20
Deadlifts Wide Stance - 25's
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate - 12's
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 15
One Leg Sit N Stands - 12
Squats Narrow Stance - 25's
Calf Raises - 25's (should have increased here)
Low Pulse Lunges - 20
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform - 25's
Wall Squats Double Leg - 8's
Lateral Step Ups - 20
45 Degree Lunge - 15's (probably too light)
Squats Narrow Stance - 25's
Static Low End Lunge Same Leg 3:1 Count - 15's (should have gone a little heavier)
Wall Squat with Ball and Leg Extension
Leg Press with band on High Step
Firewalkers
Calf Raises - 25's
Standing Kickback with band
Supine Double Leg Outer Thigh Press with band
Inner Thigh Raise with ankle weights

Nora - what on earth did you do to that ankle for it to be swollen????

Today was another superset workout. I worked Bi's and Tri's and had a great workout. Love this rotation.

1 minute rest between warmup sets.

WARMUP:
EZ Barbell Curl - 30#/12 reps - 2 sets
ss w/
Close Grip Bench Press - 55#/12 reps - 2 sets

1 min. 30 second rest between supersets.

BI's/TRI's
SS #1
EZ Barbell Curl - 45#/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Close Grip Bench Press - 75#/8 reps - 3 sets
***My left elbow has been bugging me. After my warmup sets it was ok, but I have no clue what I did.

SS #2
Pinwheels - 15's/10 reps - 1 set
Pinwheels - 17's/10 reps - 2 sets
ss w/
Decline Dumbbell Extensions - 17's/10 reps - 3 sets
***First set of pinwheels were too light so I moved up to 17's with sets 2 and 3.

SS #3
Hammer Curls - 17's/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Double-Arm Kickbacks - 10's/12 reps - 3 sets
***Really felt this. Arms were fried!

Then I got on my treadmill and did a fast paced walk at 3 mph with an incline of 4% and stayed on it for 20 minutes. Wore my HRM just for the heck of it and burned 169 calories in 20 minutes.
 
Good Morning,

The bosses are out of town today so I am going to try do 200 crunches here at work and then I am meeting my sister tonigt in another town to drop off my mother and when I get home I am going to do KCMs 30min to KBxing.

Jess-glad to here you are enjoying STS maybe someday I will invest in that.

I was tempted to sub in Lower Body Blast today, but I really dig Meso 2 Leg Trisets. And it's my LAST ONE! (Boo hoo!). So I did it. I just love em!!! And that's saying a lot, because I'm not a fan of leg work.

Belinda: How much snow do you have on the ground? Do your dogs like walking in it? I wonder how Buddy is going to do when we get ours. Hey, you can't beat a good stretch and getting things cleaned at the same time! ;)

Jessica: Meso 2 rocks! I understand your decision to not to another workout before Meso 2 weights. I don't think I could give that weight work my all if i did cardio before it either. I like giving the weights everything I got!

Heather: I'm suprised you're not having big DOMS in your legs!! I remember crying the day after my first Meso 1 leg workout!! LOL!. ... I end up using my step with one or two risers under it to place my weights on for Wall Squats. It just doesn't feel right to go down that far when I don't.

Debbie: NICE weight work today!!

Roxie: You go on those 200 crunches!!!!

Nora: Nice job on Meaner Legs last night! hope the ankle is all better. Did your new cathe workouts come yet?

Hi everyone! Sorry no time for personals again. This is another crazy week because we are a day short. I've been reading all the posts, though!

Chris - I'm glad you liked Intensity. I'll have to give it another try. My knee was bothering me really bad last night, though. So I don't know if that workout had anything to do with it. :(

I finished my workout for today, and had to really be careful with my ankle doing step, ugh.

Here's today's workout:

4DS LIS in its entirety= 67 Min
Calories burned= 597
Met Value= 6.0

I really wanted to add on some more cardio today but I figured I'd better not and just call it a day. I'm so used to adding on to my workouts when I don't do it I feel like I didn't workout hard enough. Oh well, I have been taking it a bit easy on my ankle and babying it. I plan to run on the treadmill tomorrow so I figured that would be good enough of a push.

Jessica- What a great workout you did today! Bravo!!! You tackled STS M2 today and Core Fusion Abs, awesome job on your workout today! I noticed you mentioned doing a five mile run tomorrow, sounds awesome WTG and enjoy your run.:)

Heather- to answer your question about what happened to my ankle I twisted my right ankle doing 4DS HIS that workout always seems to get me on the step part I tend to sprain or twist my ankles on that one, not sure why. I do like the workout and choreography but it doesn't like my ankles.
Now LIS, I love and my ankles love it too! Go figure:eek:
Bravo for doing STS Disc 6 Legs, I personally love the leg workouts in STS so much fun and a sweatfest! I hear ya on the wall squats, I don't like them and more importantly they don't like my knees. I can do regular squats with weights or barbell just fine, not so with wall squats. Yes, the STS Leg workouts do go fast and are awesome, love them. I'm glad your enjoying them too, and better yet you can walk afterwards, bonus points for you;):p

Debbie- You always blow me away with your killer weight workouts and the weights you can lift, you are a workout warrior and an inspiration. Nice workout today as always with Bi's and Tri's, WTG you go girl.;):)

Roxie- Good for you to sneak in some Ab work at work! :cool: Have a great workout with KCM's Kickboxing workout, that's a fun workout. Take care and keep up the great job with your workouts.

Chris- Yay! You did Meso 2 Leg Tri Sets and loved it!!! You did it and finished it and nailed it! Bravo, girl that's aweosme. Yes, my ankle is feeling better I still need to becareful what I do with that ankle because is got some black and blueness and a bit tender. I did 4DS LIS today and that was ok. Yes, I got my Cathe workouts via UPS on Monday! Its like christmas, so much fun. You do realize we Cathletes are a unique bunch to get excited about getting workouts and reviews of them to enable us. LOL!! Most people don't get excited about getting workouts and exercising at all let alone during the holiday season. Yep, we Cathletes are a special breed of awesomeness.;)

Ok girls, that's it for me. I will be joining in on Cathe's Thanksgiving Day challenge and do Intensity before festing tomorrow. I will do a premix#9 Timesaver HiiT (LO) + Boot Camp= 35:49, iTread Set 6= 20 Min, and Core Max- Segment #1 no equipment abs=21 Min are all on tap for tomorrow's workout and before feasting.
