IMAX 2 (all 10 interval) is done! What a fun and sweaty workout:eek: Off to get cleaned up, walk the dogs. DH wants to take me to lunch:p I will be back later.

Morning ladies! Well - I didn't get to participate in WW HIIT last night, when I got home my sis was dealing with a very fussy little baby so I took one for the team, helping her get calm and settled. Ended up being an awesome night with both of my sisters, we had sisters dinner together, talked a bunch and had a great night, just the three of us and the little one. Totally worth missing HIIT for. ;)

This morning I had to be to work early so I only had time for STS legs which holy moly, the floor work at the end of D9 is ridic!! I already feel like I'm limping as a result LOL.

I'm hoping to fit in Core Fusion today after work but it might end up being tomorrow after work instead depending on how things go tonight. Trying to do that workout at least once or twice a week, depending on where I can fit it in. I'm determined to strengthen my core this fall!! It's far too weak for my liking. BOO!

Belinda - Imax 2! I haven't done that one in eons! Maybe I'll bring that one or imax 3 out this weekend if I can't run by then. I'm hoping I can though!!

PS. Heather - the patella strapped worked SO WELL during the leg workout this AM!! I am so happy!

Due to the craziness of yesterday I didn't get a chance to do my workout so tonite will be HiiT 15 and 4ds back and bis., I also want to get some abs in.

Belinda-good job with your workout that one scares me.

Jess-sounds like you had a good night. Good job with your workout today.
 
Today was cardio and I did a workout I ordered from Netflix by Tracey Staehle. It's called High Intensity Kickboxing but quite frankly I didn't see what was all that intense about it. It was 30 minutes of kickboxing and then 30 minutes of body sculpting. I only did the kickboxing part. Then I did a 20 minute premix of Cardio Kickbox Challenge, also by Tracey. Love this one and should have just done that one from the get go. But I really wanted to see what the other one was like. Not great, but probably ok for a more lazy cardio day.

I also did the Ab Work from Step, Jump & Pump. I really need to work on planks again, I can't hold them for any longer then about 30 seconds now. Really bums me out.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Tracey's workouts, overall. Nobody can do it like Cathe, ya know??

And agree on the planks, I am bummed out that I can't hold them longer lately too. Hence my newfound commitment to core work, hopefully this time I can stick with it!

After work yesterday I did biceps/triceps similar to last week going up in weights as much as I could:

SS#1 - 3x6
Dumbbell biceps curls - 20.5's
Overhead triceps extension - 32 (up 2#)

SS#2 - 3x8
Concentration curls - 20/17/17 (20 was just too much)
Lying DB triceps extensions - 16's (same)

SS#3 - 3x10
Preacher curls - 15's
Double-arm kickbacks -12's

SS#4 - 3x12
Hammer curls - 15's
Weighted triceps dips - 35 (up 5)

Today is a rainy, dreary day. I hope to get in shoulders and abs at lunch then perhaps step after work (though that's not sounding fun right about now).

Jessica - glad the strap is helping!

Debbie - sorry the workout wasn't what you'd hoped for. Got it done though!

Belinda - good job with that workout. I haven't done that one in ages.

Today was cardio day. I did Cardio Fusion: All Step Premix. Holy *@#$, the 4 circuit blasts at the end (from BM2) are freakin nuts! :eek: And then for some reason I had it in my head to do the Abs from the original Body Max. OUCH! I know I'll feel that tomorrow. Traditional, unrelenting crunch vairations for 9 minutes!

The boys have today off from school (Election day). Which was a nice thing, because I got to stay in bed until 7:30am instead of 5:30 wake up call in the cold/dark!

Melissa: OMG, your DD was a salt shaker? That is adorable!

Nora: Glad you are feeling better and didn't have to visit the ER. If it re occurs, though, you really should call someone.

Debbie - not bad on the calorie burn! It's only Tuesday, you can make up for it later on in the week. :D

Heather - not diggin' the step lately, huh? Burned out?

Chris - I was a little skeptical of the salt shaker idea when she first told me but it ended up being adorable!! The hat was the best. Looked just like the top of the shaker! Nice cardio today. Enjoy your day off with the kiddos.

I'm off to Alabama in the morning for work so I will be MIA until the weekend. I'm bringing Travel Fit and my iPod so hopefully the hotel has a decent bike or elliptical machine so I can fit in a Cardio Coach.

Nora - I'm glad to hear you are ok. And next time, like Chris said, you better call 911 or something. Web MD isn't a great way to see what's wrong with people. Self-diagnosis can be terminal, so be careful with that. I'm glad the symptoms are gone, though. Hopefully it won't come back. {{{hugs}}}

Belinda - Nice job with Imax 2. I need to get that one out again. Maybe Friday! :eek:

Jess - Glad you had such a great time last night with your sisters. It's great that you all got together like that! And I should also make my abs a priority. I'm doing good, though. I at least get them worked 2 times a week if I can. I do need to work on my planks again, though.

Roxie - Glad you dd is ok. I didn't catch what she went in for?

Heather - Nice workout. I need to figure out what I'm going to do after my week off. I'm thinking some kind of superset rotation so I can do cardio 3 times a week. Are you doing anything in particular right now, or going at it on your own?

Chris - Nice job on your workout, girl! Holy moly!!! Wish I had your energy this morning. :eek:

Back from my lunch workout. I ended up doing shoulders/back and will do abs from LIC after work as I think I'll do that cardio premix (got the step set up and ready to go even).

SS#1 - 3x6
Arnold press - 20's (should have tried 21's)
Underhand (DBs) rows - 35's

SS#2 - 3x8
Upright (DBs) rows - 20's
Single-arm row - 30

SS#3 - 3x10
Lateral raise - 12's
Double-arm row - 25's

SS#4 - 3x12
Front raise - 10's
Pullovers on stability ball - 25

It turned out to be a pretty good workout. My shoulders are already shaky.

Debbie - I'm just sort of winging it right now actually. This will be the 3rd week for using this rep/set pattern. I can't decide if I like it as super sets or straight sets best for really getting in there and burning those muscles. It might be cool to try 1 week straight, 1 week super set and maybe even adding in 1 exercise to failure at the end - so like today I almost thought about doing alternating presses to failure then maybe rear flyes to failure.

Nora - girl, I missed what happened. Hope you're ok???!!!!

Melissa - yep, just get bored easily and am not digging the step so much. Plus it really aggravates my plantar fasciitis. Though, it's usually fun once I get going...just don't want to do it for very long :eek: Hope you have a safe trip.

Just a quick check in for now and I'll be back this evening for personals. I can't believe this is week #19 of TF for me and week #20 is a recovery week for TF and I'm done with the TF rotation. I'll be starting Cathe's November 2010 Rotation next week and finishing up with 3 TF cardio workouts in next weeks workout schedule. I can say that TF has had no dread factor whatsoever for me and its been pure fun and sweat, LOL!! I'll probably just get back to Cathe for awhile and maybe do an occasional TF or Insanity workout. I love them both but Insanity is insane I don't see me doing a strictly Insanity rotation as its written again, but still great workouts to add in the mix.

Belinda- WTG with Imax2 I love that one and I adore the pina colada song near the end. I always love doing Imax 2. Once I got it and did that one I could not believe how much fun that was and it lived up to all the favorable accolades everyone has for it. I have Imax 3 and that one even though its done on a six inch step it still seems to be harder on my knees where as Imax 2 usually never bothers me. Go, figure! I'm happy to hear you had a super fun workout today with Imax 2. Great job with your workout and I hope you and hubby had a nice lunch time. I'm sure your dogs loved going for a walk as well, you know that's a bonus calorie burn too! :D


Jessica- Aww sorry about your workout plans didn't happen but it sounds like you had a fun time with your sisters and the little one. Sometimes girl time is a must. Your lucky to have sisters and that they are friends as well. I'm an only child and have no friends where I live. I think your sisters night sounds awesome, its food for the soul. I hope the little one has an easier night tonight and sleeps well. You know this qualifies your for yet another best Sis/Auntie of the week award.:);)

Roxie- No worries about last night's workout getting moved to tonight. Its fine I know you had to take care of your daughter with her wisdom tooth surgery and all, its more than understandable. So, tonight you said you'd be doing HiiT 15 and 4ds back and bis, that's a great workout you have on tap and I hope all goes well with getting it in there as planned. I hope your DD is feeling better today and recuperating well. Have a great workout & a great night.;)

Debbie- I was wondering about that workout too. Glad to know it wasn't anything better than Kickbox challenge which I do love, its so fun. Oh well, at least it was a rental, so you got to find out for yourself what it was like. Nice job on your workout today and for getting ab work in from S,J, P in there. Great job Debbie!!!:D

Heather- Bravo on your Bi's and Tri's workout with weights today. I'm so impressed that you were able to go up in the weights 2lbs, YAY!! Your an amazon!!! That's awesome consider this a high five and a pat on the back for a job well done! I'm not up to doing 20.5's on bicep curls with DB's I can go #18 so I'm getting there. I can do most of the weights you mentioned but #20's are too much for me with concentration curls too. I have progressed to #30's db for triceps overhead but not each hand with db's. My right hand (MS issues) can lose its ability to grip part of the set so I go a little lighter so I don't have the weight drop out of my hand because its too heavy for my hand to grip safely. You are so amazing with your workouts overrall and the weights especially, you go girl!:cool::D;)

Chris- I did Cardio Fusion Saturday the entire workout, wow! I so I know what you mean with that workout and doing even the premix is no walk in the park either. I love how Cathe's workouts can definitely make you work hard and take you to the next level. Awesome job on your workout today!! I have the Original Body Max on the Power Hour dvd that has three workout on it. I haven't done the Original Body Max yet, I plan to as part of the Cathe November 2010 rotation I start next week. I appreciate the heads up warning about the tough abs on that one. I'll have to get psyched for that one.;):D
