Good morning,

After my coffee, I will do legs & calves plus abs.

I will be back to catch up on personals, I slept in this morning. Running a little late.

I am not sure, if I posted this yesterday or not? But I ordered a bike trainer on Nov 11, for DH b-day. It came yesterday. It only took 5 days to ship to Germany, that's fast! He used the bike trainer this morning and he love it! He said it was tough:eek: I can't wait to try it out too!

Well, last night I ended up going for a run (just over 3.5 miles) and abs from SJP. I just couldn't do step. The sun had come out and I just wanted to be outside. Not sure what I'll do today for cardio - maybe do hill repeats or something like that at lunch. I'll probably work biceps and back for weights.

I've slept like crap the past 2 nights. I used to have major probs with restless leg syndrome, but I haven't had issues in several years until Monday night and again last night. It makes it almost impossible to sleep.

Belinda - maybe you can get some spin DVDs and do spin "class" in your home. How cool.

Nora - hope you got some rest last night!!

Today was Biceps and Triceps. Had an excellent workout. Only took 45 minutes. Now that's what I'm talkin' about! :D

1 minute rest between each set. 3 minute rest between transitioning between bicep and triceps.

BICEPS
EZ Barbell Curl - 30#/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)
EZ Barbell Curl - 45#/8 reps - 3 sets

Alternate Bicep Sweeps - 15's/10 reps - 3 sets
***Can't think of the proper term for this exercise. You stand with dumbbells in both hands and starting with the left arm you sweep the dumbbell in front of you, bring it up and twist your wrist at the top of the movement. It was named after a bodybuilder, but can't think what it is. It's awesome and it burns like crazy.

Hammer Curls - 17's/12 reps - 3 sets

TRICEPS
Close Grip Bench Press - 75#/8 reps - 3 sets
***Really felt these. Probably should have went with 70#.

Decline Dumbbell Tricep Extension - 15's/10 reps - 3 sets
***Wanted to try these since Cathe did them in STS. Really felt this in my triceps, I liked it. Probably should have went a bit heavier.

Double-Arm Kickbacks - 10's/12 reps - 3 sets
***Got a great burn with this as well.

Bi's and Tri's were screaming!!! :eek:

Shoulders are nice and toasty from last night...:cool: I have Plyo Legs on my rotation for tonight but my legs are still so sore from Squat Rack the other day. Not sure I can handle it. Maybe they'll feel better by the end of the day. If not, I'll work biceps and a nice spin on the bike.

Debbie - I'm trying to think of what Cathe calls that move. I like the term Bicep Sweeps though, sounds fun!!

Good Morning,

I haven't posted because I haven't worked out this week Monday I was tired and didn't feel good called the dr. and got a new sleeping pill and I must have slept on my right shoulder all night because I haven't been able to use it comfortably the last 2 days couldn't find a comfortable position to lay last night and DH was home and took up most of the bed since he is used to doing that in his motel room. He leaves again today so I will do a workout tonite and then sometime between 9pm and 3am my mom is coming to town for the next 3 weeks OH JOY!

Heather-I have noticed you are doing your abs.

Debbie-sounds like you are enjoying your new rotation.

Belinda-nice gift.

Jess-GOOD JOB WITH YOUR CORE WORKOUTS. We have a new gym opening up next month that is going to offer spin endurance classes I am thinking about taking those sounds like fun.

Melissa-good job with your workouts.

LEGS:

Leg Extensions - 55#/15 reps - 2 sets (warm up), up 20#
Leg Extensions - 55#/12 reps - 3 set, up 5#, up 5#

Leg Press Station - 190#/12 reps - 4 sets, up 10 #, really starting to like this one!:p

Hack Squats - 90#/12 reps - 4 set, up 10#

Deadlifts - 65#/12 reps - 1 set, I forgot to add weights:rolleyes:
Deadlifts - 70#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 5#

Seated Leg Curls - 65#/12 reps

CALVES:
Leg Press Station Calf Raises - 95#/25 reps/4 sets, up 25# really like that one!

Heather - my hubby LOVES cycling too! If you want to I will sent you the website from the bike store, it was much cheaper than Amazon. Like I said, free shipping and $ 50 off too.;) BTW, they do have cheaper bike trainers, I just wanted to get the entire set with everyhing:eek: Later on, you end up buying it anyway:p

back lunges w/plate) I was YAWNING on the rests. I think I was tired. I
slept shitty with waking up alot and w/ Zach's sugar checks. Plus the cat
was doing something in the blinds. And I had 2 horrible nightmares (one was
being attacked at the hospital by some psycho guys with a jagged stake!!). I
don't know why I have such nightmares.

Kind of in a dumpy mood too, Melissa.

Everyone had awesome workouts yesterday and today!

back lunges w/plate) I was YAWNING on the rests. I think I was tired. I

Chris-I feel for you I once had a nightmare that someone put my daughters wrists in a vice and then took a chain saw an cut off her hands and it seemed so real. I forgot to mention after my L&G floor workout I have pain in my right hip.
 
It's super windy out today so going for hill repeats was actually a smart choice rather than a longer run into the winds constantly. We ran close to 2 miles to warm up then did 9 sets of repeats. There was miscommunication. I was counting to 8 and DH kept saying that was 12 minutes. Who cares, I was going to 8. He was going to 15 mins apparently. Um, not happening.

My hammies are fried. I am debating on weights after work. Thought about biceps but may go ahead and do legs then boxing tomorrow to rest the legs for a better run on Friday. I'm off work so I can do a 5-miler hopefully.

Chris & Melissa - sorry you guys are in crappy moods. At least we're on the downside of the week.

Thanks girls. I just have this funk going on this week. I exercise. I even took Buddy for a nice walk in the woods. I still feel sluggish/depressed. I swear I have S.A.D.

Chris-the full moon is Sunday maybe after thats over you will feel better. Tanning beds help with S.A.D.

PLB is tough as always, I tend to go by the weights cathe and crew use for the any of the pyramid workouts, so that's what I did. My low back is really hurting me today so I only did one set of deadlifts with #30 BB that was enough for my back so I didn't want to push it and risk injury. That's all for now girls, I'll be back later for personals.;)

Just feel off.
So much so that the workout I had planned for this AM, I moved to PM since I had another restless nite's sleep and now because of my mood, I don't even want to do my workout. Now you KNOW I'm in a bad mood if that's the case! I always want to work out! Sheesh. I know it'll make me feel better to just do it, but right now, I'm just having a hard time feeling it. Wahh.

Ok, I'm done now. Wish me luck tonight. Will report back tomorrow.
