Crazy, strong & loving it for March 14, 2012

Today was total body and I had a great workout. It's amazing how much more I love my workouts when I'm in no pain. Makes a huge difference.

3 sets/8 reps with 1 minute rest.

Leg Press Station - 175#

Stiff Legged Deadlifts - 75#

Barbell Military Press - 45#

Barbell Curls - 45#

Barbell Rows - 55#

Flat Barbell Press - 75#

Then I did the Ab Work from SJ&P.
 
Hi Girls!

Checking in before my workout today. Going to do P90X Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X. I will probably go for a nice walk or little run later , it is going to be in the 60's here (though 80 sounds even nicer, Roxie!)

Yesterday I felt crappy. I slept horrible Monday night, after my weekend working nights. I was so tired and had a heavy head with background headache. AND, of course, I had a busy day (got my hair highlighted and cut + shopping). Somehow I did my workout before I left. On schedule was Plyometrics, but I wanted to try the new workout I got, Mindy Mylrea's Tabata Bootcamp with Toys. I did 2 segments of the tabata (one with body weight, one with "pretend" jumprope) and then did 30 minutes of Plyometrics. The tabata is crazy hard!!!! Those 4 minute segments feel like an hour! Wow. Good stuff!!! She has other segments with weighted med ball, body bar (don't have one of those, but hoping I can use my barbell bar), sliding discs and bosu (don't have the bosu either). Seems pretty cool!!!

Debbie: Love balls to the wall! :eek:

Belinda: I swear, I still have boxes unpacked from 17 yrs ago!!! Have a good STS workout today!

Roxie: that is very VERY nice of KCM to send that t-shirt to your DD. I love that people like her , AND Cathe, are very real people and very accessible.

Nora: That Les Mills Step sounds fun!!! Every time someone mentions a Cathe abs workout, I want to do them! Maybe I will do her instaed of Ab Ripper X today.

Still fun and challenging even with lighter weights but way more reps, good stuff!:)

I wore my 1# weighted gloves on each hand when I did this, awesome workout and I sweatted buckets. Love this workout!! Fun, Fun, & Fun!!

Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 48

Good Afternoon,

Youngest DD and her BF are coming over tonite so I will try and get a workout in but I am not feeling the greatest right at the minute. My dog is at the vet they think he has and upper respiratory infection.

this morning I did CCV1 and this afternoon I did D11 and the extendet stretch! Ran out of time to work my abs:( will do them first thing in the morning.

Nora - glad you had fun with your workouts today! How are you feeling?

Chris - 80's here too, love it! I was looking at Mindy's workout yesterday, that one sounds hard! Good job! Hope your day is better today. 17 years, it's a long time:eek: I hope I don't have boxes laying around that long:p I need to get rid of stuff:confused:

Debbie - glad you had a great workout today. Nice weights!

Roxie - have a wonderful workout today. Hope your dog is ok! ((HUGS))

Belinda- Great workout today!!! ^^^5's with CCV1 and D11 great combo. No worries on abs, you don't need to work them out every workout. Awesome job today, keep up the inspirational work.

Debbie- Wow! What can I say Cudo's on the killer weight work and huge cudo's on feeling great and no pain. That is a huge deal I know. I still am doing the foam roller workouts everyday, and it is amazin how much better I feel and less to no pain. I'm glad that your are feeling great and I hope the foam roller work is helping. As always killer weight work, so amazing! WTG!!!;):cool:

Chris- Great workout with P90X Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X sounds awesome. The weight work with P90X is tough and the Ab Ripper X is the mother of all ab work in my book. If you did make it to do a run or go on a nice walk today as well good for you!!! Yes, Mindy's workouts are hard I don't have the New ones you mentioned I think she has three new ones out right now. I did view them at collage video but I don't have a bosu or some of the other "Toys" used but it did look really good. She'll work ya good no worries there. I tend to use alot of the times Cathe's Ab Hits I didn't imagine I'd use it as often as I do probably 3 to 4 times a week. There are 12 ab routines from some of the older workouts so they are varied on time which is great because some times I have more time than others and this accomdates that. No matter which workout I pick Cathe always works my abs super well. I do have CoreMax but I don't reach for that one near as often. So I usually will use Ab Hits or reach for STS Ab circuits. I'm still loving Les Mills Pump (LMP) so glad I got it and now have the three cardio's as well. They are a nice complement to the weight work. I will also add in TF, Insanity, or some of Cathe workouts. I really want big change so I'm willing to add those in wherever the mood strikes me and I think I need more cardio, no problem because I have lots. If you want a change from Ab Ripper X I'd recommend Cathe's Ab Hits, I know I like the variety and the various times so I can fit one in no matter my schedule. Great workout for today, girlfriend keep up the great work.:);):cool:

Roxie- If your not feeling well, just make this an unscheduled rest day. Sorry, to hear that your doggy has an upper respiratory infection. I hope he feels better soon and can come home ASAP! Take care;):)
