Crazy, strong & loving it for June!

Today I did some lifting and did the STS Total Body workout but only did the Compound only premix. What a great workout. I liked that premix. Next time I'll do the single sets premix, that one looks good, too. :eek:

I did KCM's TLC 1 and TBKBX 1 and to make up for yesterday I did CK25 WK5 D1 and I ran at 3.5 with my inserts in no shin pain. This is the last wk of KCMs rotation and then the trainer I had last year made me an 8wk 2D rotation so I will do that and add in some other workouts. I gave her a list of all the equipment I had and she put together the workouts for me.

Debbie-I still haven't tried that workout yet might have to add it in with next months rotation

Today I did cardio and chose Run Fit again. Love, love, love that workout. I did well with it and pushed myself to go a bit faster than usual. My HR was way up there again and I'm not sure why? :confused: And the weird thing is, it doesn't feel as high as my HR monitor is reading. Maybe that's a good thing?

I did KCM's Lift 2 Power Sculpt and since it was half way decent outside I went for a 2.32 mile walk and it wasn't as nice as I thought it was very humid after last nights storm.

Debbie-you will reach 3.5 eventually nice cal burn.

Life is just throwing me some curve balls .... not horrible. Just kid issues and money issues. Fun stuff!

And yesterday , my PF pain was getting so much better, I messed it up with Low IMpact Step Challenge. So today I did Yoga Max . back to the drawing board with that one!

Chris- Hello's and hugs girlfriend nice to hear from you. Oh I so hear you on kid issues and money stuff, ugh right! I feel your pain, hang in there girlfriend you are made of tougher stuff than this stuff, so you go girlfriend!;):) I have had PF before so not fun. I hope you can find workout that don't irritate things. I think Belinda had issues with that for a while as well if I remember she started doing TJ and that seemed to not make things hurt or worse or maybe BBL. Combat seems to me to be pretty easy on the feet and joints at least for me. I hope those suggestions are helpful to you. Take care and be well;)

Hey ladies...

Today I did My Addiction which is Heavy Bag workout. 95% low impact. And what wasn't low impact (jumping jacks, for instance) , I made it low impact. Hoping my PF is happy with that! Also did 25 (knees) push ups (fast).

Nora: I *heart* Xtrain Burn Sets weight work! I'm trying to alternate weeks of Burn Sets with straight Xtrain weight work. Loving it! .... thanks for the pep talk. I am made of tougher stuff. Thank you for reminding me! :)

I went for a 2.32 mile walk this morning it was only 63 out instead of 75.

Nora-good job with your workout

Chris-you are made of tougher stuff and you can handle this.
 
Today was cardio and I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe last week and got some supplements that I probably shouldn't have bought. I bought effervescent tablets you put in water to give your body electrolytes when you run. I drank half of it before I started my workout and then drank the rest during the workout. My HR has been high the last few times I've done cardio and the lady at the VS said this should help. It seemed to have helped. I felt like I could go on forever. Maybe it was all in my head, but whatever. I felt great while doing this workout.

I also bought Glutamine powder to help my muscles recover from my workouts. I hope that helps with the soreness. I never understood why I was always so sore after every one of my workouts. You would think after all these years of working out, my muscles wouldn't get as sore anymore. Even with these once a week total body workouts, my body is sore for days afterwards. I'm hoping this will help. We shall see. $71 dollars later, I better get some results. :)

I started the rotation my old trainer made up for me and I forgot how tough her workouts were and then I did CK25 WK5 D2 my legs are shaking.

Boxer Situps 20 reps (used 2lb gloves)
Squats 20 reps 10lb wt on shoulders
Walking Lunges 20 steps 10lb wts
Renegade Rows w/Pushup 10 reps 10lb wts
Bicep Curl w/Overhead Press 10 reps 10lbs

Repeat 3 times.

Debbie-I started taking a multivitamin I bought at complete nutrition that is suppose to help with my metabolism, joints and cholesterol and I think its making a difference. Good job with your workout nice cal burn.

Chris- I hope you are doing well and that things are looking up this week for you. I don't know about where you live but here its uncomfortably hot for me so I'm doing what I can to stay comfortable. Keep Comfy where you are and have some fun & take out your frustrations into your workouts and beat them up.
