I didn't go to spin class this morning I am having some pain across my shoulders into my neck. Tonite is a session with PT and maybe I will do something after depending on how hard she works my legs.
 
Hi Girls!

I started Cathe's July 2012 Rotation today!! It looks like great, and has the new workouts in it a lot, so should be "fun".

I switched with tomorrow's workout because I had a headache ALL night at work last night and still today. I couldn't sleep because it hurt more laying down. So I did Total Body Trisets + did Plates & Weights Abs.

Hope you all are doing well!

Roxie: Good idea to work your legs and let your upper body alone tonight.

I just finished today's workout and it was both Insane and Tough, but then again it was Insanity so what could I expect. LOL!:p

Here's today's workout:

Insanity- Cardio Power & Resistance= 40 Min
Met Value= 11.50
Calories burned= 628

Wow! that's a killer workout. I believe that workout all though is called Max Interval Training it feels like a long HiiT Pyramid. Good stuff though definitely sweat provoking and a real fat burner no doubt.

I hope everyone had a great workout today, and I'll be back for personals later. F.Y.I. if anyone is interested I posted in the Open discussion for the breakdown of CrossFire and To The Max includes all premixes, calories burned, Met Value for all of them. See ya later for personals.;)

Pt was a killer again tonite she really worked me over.

Chris-no such luck on leaving the upper body alone, she had me do walking planks pushups and burpees. Hope your head feels better tomarrow.

Roxie- Sorry your neck and shoulders are hurting right now. You did a great workout this evening with your PT. Excellent workout tonight eventhough your neck and shoulders were hurting you. That was a tough workout tonight, well done!:D

Chris- Great job starting Cathe's new July 2012 rotation and nothing wrong with switching a day's workouts with another. Awesome workout today with Total Body Trisets + did Plates & Weights Abs. I know that's a great workout so Cudo's. Ps. I did post a breakdown of both CrossFire and To The Max workouts, including premixes, calories burned, and met values for all of them.

Morning girls,

I ended up doing LIS Total Body UB split last night. I am trying to juggle the workouts around this week, this way I get them all in. Today I will do LIS LIC and maybe LIS Total Body Trisets LB. I still need to get S & G plus Hiit 30/30 in.

Chris - how do you like the new workouts? How are they different for AB and AT? Sorry about your headache. Hope you feel better.

Nora - Insantiy is tough, good job! Did you order Cathe's new workouts?

Roxie - how is your shoulder today?

I am going to the gym tonite to do some kind of cardio. I ordered my new glasses this morning so I am anxious to get them its going to be fun trying to adjust to bifocals.

Belind-shoulders feel better today.
 
Today was my first time for Crossfire! :eek:

Went by super fast. First part was HiiT , alot with the firewalker band. Definitely hard!! :eek: The circuit section , still hard, but a little bit of a 'rest' after the HiiT/firewalker band cardio. Last part was Tabata, which I actually thought was the easiest of the sections (but NOT easy!)

All in all, I really REALLY liked it! A lot of variety, moves quickly. And the music is very current stuff, and added to the fun of the workout.

I just finished my Insanity workout for today and it felt insane too! I'll just go ahead and check in then go get some air.

Ok, this was tough especially since I was feeling a bit tired before but I couldn't let that be an excuse to keep me from workingout like I know I should. So, me being me, I did workout!:p

Belinda- Wow! Awesome selection of workout for you this week, all great choices and fun. I see you were mentioned you would do LIS LIC and maybe LIS Total Body Trisets LB for today's workout. Sounds like a killer workout lineup for today, you go girlfriend! Oh and to answer your question yesterday I have both new dvds they arrived saturday:D:):cool:

Roxie- Glad to hear your shoulders are feeling better today:) Wow, off to get new glasses today, awesome I hope they feel great and no headache issues. I see you have plans for workingout at the gym tonight with PT doing some sort of cardio, that sounds awesome! Have a great workout tonight!:);):D

Chris- Wow!! I loved reading about your experience with CrossFire today, I have the two new dvd's but haven't tried them out yet. Major cudo's on today's CrossFire workout, awesome job.:);):cool: I'll do one of the short premixes from TO THE MAX tomorrow and an Insanity workout. Because of that I don't want to do a whole CrossFire and Insanity workouts that would be way to crazy even for me LOL!

Hi everyone. I am doing much better but thought I should just do stretches and take it easy for another week. I still feel a knot in my left trap but it is going away. I can now turn my head from left to right without pain. I've been using a tennis ball to massage the knot out and it seems to be helping. I've been doing my stretch exercises and that Yoga Focus Stretch workout I like so much. It is helping.

These problems come down to this:

My muscles are WAY too tight. I don't know how to remedy this unless I stretch every day and seriously, who does that every day? I know I need to, but the minute I start feeling better I just stop doing it. I need to force myself to just do a stretch workout every day. Some how. I ordered Cathe's Yoga Relax and I'm hoping that will be good for my upper and lower body problems. We shall see.

Glad to see you are all getting good workouts in!!! Nice job!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Today was KPC, but I just did the KP. My core is sore/tight from yesterday. Crossfire HAS corework in the cardio and after Monday's TBT's Upper Body Core PLUS Weights & Plates, I needed to rest my stomach muscles! I did add on TBS with the stability ball though.

Belinda: Great workouts!!! Will you be doing the july rotation next? Did you get the new workouts? I forget! Have a great vacation in FL!!!

Nora: YES. Insanity AND one of Cathe's new ones is a LITTLE much! (ALOT MUCH!!!!). Fun way to try them though!

Debbie: I'm glad you at least figured out your problem. Adding stretching is do-able!!!! I think you'll have the motivation. I'm sure you're missing your workouts this week.

Roxie: Great job on intervals!!!
 
Good Morning,

I went to the gym and rode the stationary bike for 50mins then had a PT session since she will be gone the rest of the week. I lost 1 1/2lbs, 1 inch in my waist and 1/2 inch in hips but bf% has gone up 1% not quite sure why that is. Everyone enjoy your day.

Debbie-glad to hear you are getting better. I need to start stretching more to but it just seems like a waste of time until I start hurting.

Chris-good job with your workout.

Roxie- Great job with your workouts way to rock girlfriend! Awesome job on your results thus far keep with it, its working bravo!! Great job today on stationary bike. I do like how your PT and you are mixing up what your workouts consist of. I like variety myself and it keeps the boredom factor completely out of the equasion, love what your doing keep with it!!!:D

Chris- Fun workout for you today with KPC minus the crunch part to let your abs rest from yesterday WTG! Oops, I got mixed up on the days, its tomorrow's workout I will do Insanity cardio recovery and a short premix from TO THE MAX. I figure that's a safe way to add TTM without over doing it. Great workout for you today, awesome job girlfriend!!:):cool:

Belinda- Wow, another great workout from you today, you are amazing WTG. I see you did LIS TBT and Hiit 30/30 excellent workout and way to incinerate those calories girlfriend!!:):D I read your going on vacation to Florida, sounds amazing I'm sure you'll have a blast so enjoy and god bless!

Good Morning,

I had a migraine all day yesterday after going to the gym and we went to the family dinner 3 three year olds running around didn't help the DH, DD, SIL, and I went to a fireworks display and didn't get home until after midnight and I couldn't sleep head hurt to bad and still hurts today so my 4th wasn't that great. I am not going to the gym tonite headed home after work to do a wt. workout eat then going to bed.

Today was To The Max , my first time. Humbling. Seriously. I took a FEW needed breaks. Kicked my BUTT. Seriously. I'm kind of fatigued today , not sure if that has something to do with it too. But I did like it.
