Crazy, strong & loving it for July 25, 2011

I did get my workout in on Saturday, I did Week 4, Day 3 of C25K. I had a hard time with the 1/2 mile jogs. I did them, but was totally sucking wind big time. Did them at a 4.0 mph. This should be easy for me, I don't get it.

But also, I was fighting with my HR monitor again. It just won't keep reading my HR when I start to jog. I don't know what the problem is. I was getting so distracted about that and I think that is one reason I was sucking wind. I still haven't changed the battery in it, but I highly doubt that's the problem.

Anyways, Stats from Saturday were:

46 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
18 minutes in zone
23 minutes above zone
368 calories burned
2.5 miles travelled


Today starts Week 5 with C25K. Today's workout was 3 - 1/2 mile jogs with 1/4 mile walk in between. This was tough for me, but I did it. I did NOT wear my HR monitor. I'm sick of the distractions. Again, I was sucking wind by the end of the each 1/2 mile. Friday I'm suppose to run 2 miles straight, I honestly don't see that happening. I don't get how this rotation can go from 1/2 mile stretches to 2 miles. I'll do what I can, but I know I can't go 2 miles straight. That's just way too much for me.

No stats but I did run 2.5 miles.

Been dealing with a pissy boss or I would have checked in sooner. Tonite for me is going to be either KBXing or Boxing something to relieve the stress. I didn't sleep very well we had storms all night but its finally a little cooler.

I just finished today's workout and did PeakFit Challenge Fit Test today too!

Here's today's workout:

Warm up on TM walk for 2 min then run for 11 min= 13 Min
Met Value= 8.0
Distance= 1.0
Calories burned= 128

PeakFit Challenge- Fit Test= 30 Min
Met Value= 9.0
Calories burned= 369 I really liked the Fit Test, it sort felt like a HiiT workout and was very challenging but fun and it went really fast. I had previously viewed the Intro so I skipped that for today and just focused on the Fit Test. I had fun:)

4DS LIS- Back & Bi's= 25 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 205
I love the variety and multiple uses and premixes in this dvd its just awesome.

4DS-LIS- Abs Only= 10 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 68

Total calories burned= 770;)

I am finally done with my workouts:confused: had a rough day, didn't sleep well last night. Been tired all day long, tried to take a nap..hopeless:confused::( my cell rang nonstop. Glad my workouts are done. I did D4 (CSB) plus AC " Yoga abs" and SM with the bands.

Off to the shower. BBL!
