Hope you all had a fantastic night? Went to bed around 12:30 pm, I was so tired:eek:

My plan today is back & bicepes!

I will quit Insanity, I will do it around May when DH and I leave Germany.
Debbie & Chris are right, I was overtraining! Never felt anything like this before? Not for 3 weeks straight? I had a hard time admitting that I was overtraining, DH thought that too. He kept telling me I was working out to much:mad::mad: Thanks Debbie!

I am done with my back & bic workout! Had great workout.

BACK
Horizontal Dumbbell Rows (double arm)
- 15's/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)

T-Bar Rows - 75#/8 reps - 3 sets

Australian Pullups - BW/10 reps - 3 sets

Double-Arm Dumbbell Rows - 20's/12 reps - 3 sets


BICEPS
Barbell Curls - 55#/8 reps - 3 sets

Incline Dumbbell Curls - 18's/10 reps - 3 sets

Zottman Curls - 15's/12 reps - 3 sets

My DH. DS, DD and I will go out tonight. We are going to Nuernberg, so excited!

Sorry I've been MIA - was out of town for a wedding then just plain busy. I got in some running with no IT band pain at least. Did 4 miles Wed and 5.5 yesterday. Today should start Meso 3 for me. I think it's chest and back. I'll do that and abs when I stop being lazy :eek:

Belinda - looks like a good workout. I've been there before with overtraining and not really wanting to admit it.

Feels so good to be back to my regular routine. Just finished up LIC. Trying to decide what rotation to do next, if any. Maybe I'll just wing it. My main focus right now is losing weight so maybe a cardio/circuit rotation would work best? Any thoughts/advise are welcome...:D

Belinda - nice weights as usual!!

Heather - glad to hear you've been able to run without any IT band pain! Have fun with M3. Still not sure if M2 or M3 was my fave. It's definetly not M1, though...:p

Last night we did out usual New Year's Eve bowling night. I know, wild and crazy, right?! We had fun though. Even let DD stay up to see the ball drop. Off to de-decorate the house. Have a great day!!

My DH worked last night, so I was home with my boys, plus my oldest had a friend sleep over. There was a LOT of testosterone in my house! (YIKES!) Had fun though. they all stayed up until midnight. THe most awake I've ever seen them on a New Years Eve!

I'm back to work tonight and tomorrow.

Belinda: I know it's hard to give up your workouts. But you'll see how it helps in the long run. Have a fun night tonight!!!

Heather: AWESOME deal on the no IT problems with running!!! You must be so happy! I read about some horrible weather in your neck of the woods with that warm weather you had. (tornados?). Hope that wasn't near you.

Nora: Great workout yesterday! For some reason, I have done Lower Body Blast twice, and get NO DOMS from it. So weird, since the workout itself is TOUGH when I'm doing it. Healthy and happy New year to you too, friend!

Melissa: You are WAY bigger MIA than me!!! Glad to see you post yesterday! You finished Meso 3, right? I thought I wouldn't like Meso 3, but when I got into it, loved every minute of it!!!

Today I did Turbo Fire 45 EZ. NOT easy. Just sayin'. Tough high energy cardio for 45 minutes, with no Fire Drills, but still!! Fun and sweaty! Hadn't done this one in a long time and it was a blast. I did the Abs from MMA too.

OH, speaking of injuries, I've been having issues with STep and my calves. Seems like everytime I try to do a step, it gets pulled. Even if it feels fine before I started. I'm pretty bummed about that. Since I LOVE Step and wanted to include it more for my cardio.:( Crap!

Chris - yes, 3 people died in one tornado yesterday. Thankfully, it wasn't near us this time. We live in what is called tornado alley. Everyone gets just a little bit tense when we have weather like yesterday. That really stinks about your calf and step. Wonder what's changed/happened differently?

Hi girls!;)

I just finished my first workout in the new year. I haven't done MMA Kickboxing in a while and it was a treat to revisit. I'l have to add that more often to my workouts.

Here's today's workout for Friday:

STS MMA: KB:Kickbox= 53 Min
Calories burned= 590
Met Value= 7.50

STS Ab Circuits- Medicine Ball Abs= 10 Min
Met Value= 4.50
Calories burned= 61

Total Calories burned= 651;)

Ok, that's it for me girls. I have a terrible headache and a sprained and bruised ankle. So, I'm going to shower then rest. Sadly, I won't be back for personals tonight. I just wanted to say you girls are awesome and always an inspiration keep up on workingout hard, you girls rock! No doubt you'll rock this new year as well.
