Today was total body and I had a good workout.

I had to skip the leg part of this workout again, due to my knee.

Todays workout:

4 sets/8 reps with 1 minute 30 second rest between each set.

Upright Rows - 2/12 - 25# (warmup)
Upright Rows - 45#/1 set; 50#/3 sets
Incline Hammer Curls - 25's/8/8/6/6
***Had a real hard time getting to 8 reps on the last 2 sets. Should have lightened up a bit.
Overhead Tricep Extensions - 15's
Incline Barbell Press - 80#
Barbell Rows - 75#

Need to find a knee brace or some stretchy stuff to wrap my knee with. Ice isn't helping, Aleve isn't helping. I still have over $400 to pay on my echo from last year and now our deductible starts all over. I don't have $1k to pay for this problem. This is ridiculous, even with insurance I can't go to the damn doctors.

We got the ice, but not as bad as predicted. I'm attempting to go to work. Hopefully the roads are ok. Ours looks ok, it doesn't look shiney at all.

Well, another snow day here. Lots of snow mixed with ice. Not pretty. At least I'm home AGAIN today. I'm not complaining about that part!

I did Core Fusion Lean & Toned this morning and am going to Ride tonight since they canceled the one this morning due to the weather. I'm excited - the new release for Ride is AWESOME! I've only ridden it once so I'm looking forward to getting back to it.

Debbie - I feel you. I HATE insurance because somehow it never seems to work in your favor. Ridiculous. Hope the brace helps. Boo :(

Belinda - can't believe you're almost done with STS M1! That went by crazy fast!

Hi to Chris, Melissa, Roxie, Nora (enjoy the rest week!) and Heather!

Hi ladies. I toughed out the dreadmill run yesterday - 8 (count 'em) 8 miles.

Today I will either do biceps, shoulders, triceps and abs or call it a rest day. Undecided right now. I am having a terrible headache due to doc switching my pill. Not cool.

Hope everyone has a good day - stay warm for all you ladies snowed/iced in!!! It's sunny here, but right now the windchill is 7 degrees.

Ugh! Nothing worse than a headache when trying to workout. I vote rest day if it doesn't ease up. Hang in there!

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is some kind of cardio depending on how long DD is going to be there, I love my kids but I am kindof getting sick of them. I am back at work still snowy and icy and really cold but drivable.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Debbie-insurance companies suck we deal with them and medicare everyday.

Jess-jealous you get to stay home today sounds like a nice workout.

Heather-enjoy your workout and blah you didn't get this crap.

Hi Girls....

Sorry for the MIA lately. My son and I had a stomach bug Saturday through Monday. I FINALLY felt better Tuesday. Between us being sick and the huge snow storms we've been having and the snow days off from school, I haven't been getting here.

Sunday, I pushed myself because I felt a little better and did the cardio only premix from Circuit Blast. That's actually a nice little 23 minute cardio to do if you're short on time! As much as I 'liked' it, it made me feel sooooo much worse. Dumb decision on my part.

Monday, I did nothing. I felt horrid.

Tuesday, FINALLY better! So I made up my Monday's scheduled workout and did STS Total Body, Upper Body Premix. I did MM's warm up first and added on MM's Triceps. (There are literally NO triceps in STS TB!). I somehow also did LIS from 4DS. But that wiped me out quickly.

Today, I *think* I am back to myself. I did the first Plyo Leg workout from M3, because I wanted to get cardio & legs in one. Tough. I'm still not 100% I think. I did abs too, Abs Circuit: Yoga Inspired Abs.

I'll have to go back and read the threads from this week.

Belinda: you're rolling right along on STS!

Debbie: You hurt your knee again? Sorry, that really sucks.

Heather: I do NOt know how ANYONE can run 8 mi on a Dreadmill. You are my hero!

Roxie: Hope you get in a good cardio tonight. Let us know what you do!

Jessica: Nice job on re working the workouts. You're doing the no weights/Core Fusion rotation now?. The snow/ice stuff is craziness. I wish it would stop. As everyone else does.

*hey* to Melissa and Nora!!! How are you guys doing?

UGH! That is awful, I am so sorry you've been sick! Glad you are on the mend.

And yes, I'm doing the core fusion "challenge" for the month of Feb. all Core Fusion and a couple of cardio workouts a week and that is it!
So far, so good!

Hi girls;)

I did sleep in today, and I did get a short workout in. I got out one of my Kettlebell dvds, Lauren Brooks and thought that would be fun and it was.

Here's today's rest day workout::p

Lauren Brooks dvd,
The Ultimate Body Sculpt & Conditioning with Kettlebells- Joint Mobility Warm up= 5 Min and then The 40 min workout= 45 Min
Met Value 6.50- 7.0 Medium to High intensity.
Calories burned= 430
used a 10lb kettlebell for ab work. Used a 15lb kettlebell for the rest of the workout. Man, I could feel my abs working big time with this and worked up a good sweat too. It felt like a very time efficient workout and definitely felt a bit of a cardio factor as well. Good stuff, now I want to get both Paul Katami kettlebell dvds and Lauren Brooks Volumes 2 & 3 dvds too. I'm such a exercise dvd junkie.:D

Ok, other than that nothing to report. I hope all is well with you all and that you're getting in some killer workouts.;)

Hugs to : Chris, Heather, Melissa, Jessica, Jolene, Roxie, Belinda, and Roxie!;):D
