Going to the gym this morning. I will be back to catch up on personals and to report my workout.

Today was cardio and I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. The first challenge was Challenge #1 from CC #7. Tough challenge, it totals 24 minutes. Then I had 2 challenges that were sprints. Had a great workout.

Then I did the stretch from Gym Style Legs. Love that one.

CARDIO STATS:

16 minutes in zone

Hi ladies. I am definitely feeling soooo much better. Thankfully, it was a short-lived bug. I was able to get in a run yesterday (7 miles). I am so off track this week with my training plan b/c of being sick on Tues. I may try to get out for another run today and do some of the intervals that had been on tap for Tuesday combined with some that were scheduled today.

Our weather here is crazy warm (and humid) so it's hard to not want to get outside!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
 
I am flying high! I just got to run outside before work with one of my running buddies and it was AWESOME! It's in the 40s already and it made my DAY to get out there and run for a change vs. the treadmil!! YAY!!! I'm planning to do yoga or core fusion later on too :)


Heather - so happy you are feeling better!! BUT I have to say, I wouldn't try to jam extra running into your planned run today just to "catch up" to your running training plan for risk of injury or doing too much at once. Especially so close to the half. I think you are doing GREAT with your training (waymore intense than the way I trained for my half) so I KNOW you're going to do great come race day! Skipping one of the planned runs on the schedule is no biggie...that's my advice, for what it's worth :)

Debbie - nice work on the cardio! And yay for stretching :)

Just a quick check in:) This morning DH and I went to the gym right after I started us off. I did CCV3, traveled 4.25 miles! My legs are like jello today. I still have to get a nice stretch in (ran out of time this morning) and work my abs! I will be back later, I promise!

Tonite for me is a walk in the park after work suppose to be in the 70's here today. I still need to fit some wt. work in but still having problems with a shoulder blade and neck.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Heather-don't do to much to quick.

Jess-isn't it nice to get outside I can hardly wait for the walk.

I did Athletic Step today. And then Seg #1 from Coremax. A.S. is a ton of fun, isn't it!

Belinda and Debbie: NICE jobs with your CC's today! I should try one of those with my runs when I can get out for one. Haven't in a long time! I have a few on my iPod.

Heather: SO glad to hear you're feeling better. Be careful, though. Don't push yourself too hard, your body still needs to recover, even though you feel better. Just skip a day of "training" . You do so much it's not going to hurt in the long run!!!

Jessica: AWESOME on getting outside to run!!!! It's looking pretty nice out today!

Roxie: Just the talk of this warmer weather is making me happy! Have an awesome walk at the park later!!

Nora: You did a BOATLOAD of workouts yesterday! Holy moly! Hope today is a lighter day for you (lighter = an HOUR only! ;)).

Okay, gotta go give Buddy a bath, he's off to the vet later for his Rabies shot...

Belinda - Nice job with CC#3, and holy crap on the miles you went! Nice job girlfriend!

Heather - Glad your bug didn't last long. Something was trying to invade my space a couple weeks ago but I kicked it in the butt! It's almost 60 degrees here today! Love it! Suppose to get cold again, though. :(

Jess - Nice going with your run! Hoo Haa!!!

Roxie - Wow, you're in the 70's! Nice! Enjoy it, I doubt it will last long. :D

Chris - Nice workouts today! Sounds like fun. I wonder if I have Athletic Step? LOL! I'll have to go check. I think I talked my dh into getting me Turbo Fire for my b-day. I hope he does!! :)

Debbie-your right on not lasting only suppose to be in the 50's tomarrow and rain this weekend but next weeks forcast doesn't show anything below 50.
 
Seriously, I'll take this weather as long as it lasts...will be very short-lived around here but that's ok. It IS only February afterall...I guess I can't complain too much ;-)

As I sit here with windows open in February! Love it!

For some reason my post disappeared. I went for a 1 mile walk in the park tonite and everyone else had the same idea it was a busy place.

I know what that's like I've been dealing with neck pain for about 20years now. I know sometimes it doesn't bother me and others, yikes I'm lucky if I can sleep. Please take care.;)

Chris - awww....I still don't have AS down, keep forgetting I have it. That ab workout is now joke, wtg! Is Budy nice and clean? Reminds me, I need to give my dog a bath this weekend.
