Good morning,

Friday is RT sign up:D Who is going to the RT this year?

I will do cardio today. DH wants to go to the gym tonight:eek: I may double up today, eat way to much yesterday:eek:

Today was cardio and I chose P90X Kenpo-X. I'm shocked at my calorie burn, this one never gets my HR up that much. I think I topped out at 140 bpm and that's not high at all.

It was an ok workout, Tony was getting on my nerves this morning. His chatter is annoying. And I always thought that the warmup - which is close to 12 minutes long, should be the cool down. Such great stretches and really, those should be at the end.

Morning ladies. I'm home today with something funky going on with my eye - not sure if it's a clogged tear duct or something sinus related but my head and eyeball feel like they could explode. Hurts so badly! So I'm home so I can take breaks from the computer...I think my Rx for my contacts needs replacing so that's part of the problem but I'm not sure what this eye thing is, it's like there's liquid stuck behind my tear duct or something, very weird. Avoiding the doctor, I hate going!

I did end up with Core Fusion Energy Flow Yoga last night and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Debbie - if you're looking for another yoga option, try this one, it's AWESOME!

Not sure if I'll rest today or do Core Fusion which I have on tap tonight, we'll see how my head feels...

PS. Totally signing up for the RT on Friday! Anyone else?

Nora - first of all, are you CRAZY girl? I mean, we're all crazy, but you are by far the craziest with that workout! I am TOTALLY impressed!! As for needing to lose 30#, I can't imagine you needing to the way you workout but if you truly do need to, you have all the drive and motivation to do it. You are such an inpsiration!

Belinda - I'm glad you had a great v-day! Enjoy your workout(s) today!

Debbie - I've never done any of the P90x workouts, I feel like I'd be "cheating" on Cathe...I know, I know. ;-) Plus, I'm biased and think he workouts knock the socks of other at-home workouts that are similar to her style. But this one was pretty good, huh?

Roxie - If it's only 5# weights, then I'd say yes, you could do them every day or at least every other day. You're not really building with only 5# weights. See how your body feels and responds to it, but I would at least give it one day rest between.

Jess - P90X is a great workout rotation. I have done it a couple times. But Tony (the instructor) can get on your nerves after a while. I doubt I could do this rotation in its entirety again due to his annoying nature, but I do like to do some of the cardio workouts every now and again.

Today was supposed to be a longer run with intervals, but I'm about to go home and crawl back into bed. I woke up around 1:30 with some stomach bug :( Now I'm starting to feel feverish/achy. Really sucks.

Debbie - I tried that workout and just got really frustrated and annoyed b/c it was soooo low intensity. So nice job with the calorie burn from it.

Jessica - sorry to hear about your eye. Hope you feel better soon.

Well I didn't get a workout in due to Valentines day which was a waste so tonite I am going to do the ones I should have done last night.

Debbie-thanks for answering my question just trying to figure out how to use this set.

Jess-sounds like a plugged eye duct and they say use a warm wash cloth on it, but I would really see and Eye Dr.

Hi Girls!

Busy day yesterday, with work/sleep/workout/Valentine's Day celebration! :) But I got in my monday workout which was Step Works , an oldie but FUN workout, wish I wasn't so fatigued and could have enjoyed it better though. It was fun though.

Today I did PUB and instead of PUB abs, I did B&G Stablity Ball abs, which I LOVED doing! Gotta remember that one!

Belinda: I hear ya on the needing the double workouts! :eek: Nice job today and yesterday!

Debbie: I'm suprised you did Kenpo X. I remember you not liking it so much. But you got it done, and that's the important part!

Roxie: Have a good one tonight!

Heather: YIKES! feel better!!!!! we're not SUPPOSED to get sick, right?!?!?!

Jessica; Hope your eye thing is better and you don't have to go see the rotten doctor!!!. That core fusion yoga sounds great! Can you get it separate from the other Core Fusions or is it a set?

Nora: You are totally CRAZY already with your workouts! I have a hard time believing you have 30 #s to lose too! With the amount you burn every day? Wow! I bet you are totally fit and toned!!! .

I'm here to check in. I have to say in response to some of your comments about my confession of being 30#'s more like#40's to loose and your suprised comments. Yep, I exercise like I do and still have to battle with my weight, no I am not lean and toned, I wish! I know that for me doing exercise its not an issue with me because I like to exercise, so that means you guessed, its the diet. I like to eat healthy and low fat but money is an issue for us, ugh! Anywho, I'll just check in now. I don't know what I'll do with regards to my workouts the rest of the week or for tomorrow for that matter. I did start round two of insanity but confused what I should do for workouts. I'm sure you've noticed I like big calorie burns on my workouts but I just wish my hard work was noticeable, but I'm discouraged. :(

Nora - I am just tired reading your workouts, wow! I was wondering, if your body is holding on to every LB with all those workouts? Maybe you need to cut back on your workouts? I am still impressed with all your workouts, I couldn't do it...lol.

Debbie - I need to pull Kempo out, never done that one. Glad your knee isn't bordering that much anymore.

I'm back for personals.

Debbie- I know how frustrating it can be when a workout just doesn't seem like its gonna offer a super sweatfest and serious bpm's or heart rates you'd like. Kenpo X is a fun workout as I remember of his in P90X but its not as tough as Rapid Fire: Kick, Box, and Core Burn though is it. Love the versatility of it and the premixes. I do love to do boxing and kickbox type workouts. A nice perk to any kickbox style workout is it does work the core at the same time, love that! Nice job on your workout. I agree after a while Tony can get on your nerves.;)

Jessica- sorry to hear about eye problems. Perhaps a nice warm moist compress would help? I know that does seem to help me when I have issues at times, so that's what I usually do first before I resort to going to the doctor. If your eye is hurting and nothing helps get your butt to the doctor. Nice job with last nights workout of Core Fusion Energy Flow Yoga. I'm glad that your having fun with those. So, road trip sign up this friday, eh? Good for you for doing that, WTG!!!

Heather- You are amazing to still try and train when your not feeling well. I hope you get lots of rest and get over this stomach flu or bug that your suffering from. Be well!;)

Chris- Nice job on step works workout! Yay, for oldies but goodies of the workouts. I see you did PUB minus the abs from that and did Butts and Guts Stability ball abs, sounds perfectly awesome, love it!:cool::)

Yes, I really need to lose #40 lbs, I'd take #30 but its more like #40. Nope, I'm not lean and super toned, I wish! I think with me the biggest problem is diet not working out. I like to workout, but its hard to eat the way I'd like with limited funds, but I try to do my best. Its hard too with too teenagers in the house and a husband that each eat differently than I'd like so, its hard.

Roxie- Yay! For Treadmill workouts, nicely done Roxie. Great job!:) I didn't know you had a TM.
