Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach Press Play. I did all the challenges but the last one. Had a good, sweaty workout.

Good afternoon ladies,

Went to the podiatrist this morning, he wants me to stay completely of my feet for the next 2 weeks:confused:.Not sure how I am going to do that? I have a bone spur and a bad case plantar fasciitis going on. No high impact, haven't done any in a long time. He told me to wear insoles for all weight bearing activity, with good spportive shoes and not to go barefoot, even around the house. I couldn't do that anyway, my foot was killing me every time I tried:confused:. Ice 2 times a day, rolling a frozen plastic water bottle under my affected heel for 10 min. And he gave me 2 stetches, yeap... 2:eek: he wants me to do those 4 times a day. He gave me some pain meds twice a day, for 2 weeks. That's it! I ask him about waking and yoga? No walking, no yoga:eek:. Absolutley nothing!! I can use the ellipctical machine or a bike only for short periods of time. He wants my foot to relax for the next 2 weeks. If I don't see any improvement after 2 weeks, he wants to give me cortisone shots.


My son isn't doing any better. His toe is broken, but know a bone broke off. My son saw the same doc, he wants DS to stay off his feet too. He may need a cast for his foot soon..

Debbie- Wow Cardio Coach Press Play way to go now go collect that much earned gold medal girlfriend. Killer workout way to go!;) You are amazing:cool: Be careful and listen to your body and workout safe. I know that you do but I don't want to miss our workout buddy. ;)

Belinda- it sounds like your son, your DH, and you have had more than your share of foot issues. I think you're all done with that stuff time for blessings and healing to come rushing in and make the pain and bad un-fun footstuff go away and never come back ASAP!!! I understand your desire to finish STS again but please be careful and don't make things anymore uncomfortable for you than they are. I know weights doesn't irritate your foot issues which is great but still just really listen to your body and be careful. Hugs to you and your family and foot issues.

Tonight I made CLX lean circuit 1 focus on all the parts of the body including the core, and then I made 1.47 miles of TM.
Chris. This is my last month's CLX hope I will have a new food for 1 month and the boss not bad today.

Today I did a free style full body workout. Had a good one and enjoyed it. Here is what I did - wimpy weights:

3 sets/10 reps for everything

Squats - 45#
Leg Press - 135#
Deads - 45#

Pushups - 3 sets/10 reps on toes
Dumbbell Press - 25's
Dumbbell Flyes - 15's

Lateral Raise - 5's

Barbell Curls - 35#
Hammer Curls - 15's

Overhead Tricep Extension - 20#
Lying Tricep Extensions - 12's

Little itching now. It seems to be going away. Could have been the plants I guess. I did talk to a girl at work who went to the Homepathic doctor I went to and she said she had itching under her breasts for a month when she was taking the mold supplement she was on. She said it was because the mold was trying to escape her body and that was the effects of it. Could be I suppose. Weirder things have happened. All I know is my itch is almost gone and I'm happy about that.

Belinda - I'm sorry to hear about your son. I hope he feels better soon!

Debbie: Glad you're itching is better! easier said than done (don't scratch, rub). I'm an ITCHER ! if something itches, I'm horrible at clawing at myself. I need to itch it!!

Belinda: Take the 2 weeks off!!!!! You're crazy to "finish meso 3 even if it kills you". It's only 2 weeks. Do what the doctor says, concentrate on your eating. You can do it!!! Now stop the workouts!!!! (that's the mom in me talking to you...LOL)

Roxie: You did GREAT with CLX this round!!! You pre ordered Xtrain, right?

Nora: Excellent workouts this week! back to kicking ass! Are you feeling any better?

My workouts so far: Monday, took a much needed rest day. Tuesday, did 4DS HIS (the entire thing, with chest & back), Wednesday , Did 34 Minute premix of Cardio Core Circuit, and then 4DS Shoulders & Core. Monday was rest day from the Squat A thon. Tuesday I did 65 and today was 70 Kettlebell Swings (with squats).
 
I am really sore this morning from the weights I did yesterday. :) So I did yoga today and chose Cathe's Yoga Max. Had a great workout. Two of my kitties had great workouts too, as both of them were weaving in and out of my legs, arms, anywhere they could. It's really hard to do low plank when two kitties are laying right under you.

Hi Girls~

I was going to workout today but just too tired and cold to get myself going, so now workouts I'm done for this week. I am excited about Les Mills Combat I did order the basic set. I've been previewing so far.

I have previewed Combat 30 Kick Start, Combat 45: Power Kata, and Power HiiT 1 (uses weights and crossfire type circuit moves awesome stuff and works core). So far I'm very impressed but I knew I would be cause I love boxing, kick boxing stuff and love how Les Mills anything has a big focus on perfect form and proper technique. All their instructors consistently emphasize correct form and technique each and everyone of them. Its so nice to find that somewhere besides with Cathe and crew. It seems in the world of Exercise DVD programs that is not a given but the exception. Love this set, now I'm drooling to get the other 4 DVDs offered in the Ultimate which beachbody and Mary now have offered on their sites to order. If you love boxing and kick boxing type workouts that teach proper form and technique and also offer a few HiiT workouts you'll love this so run don't walk to order these, OK so just my opinion.;)
