Good morning ladies,

Debbie thanks!!:D I thought, my protein intake was a little low. Now I have something to go by.

Today I will do D7 (CSB). Yesterday I ran 3 miles on the TM at the hotel.

I will be back later to catch up on personals! Have a wonderful day and workout girls!

Today starts Week 7 of C25K. This week is 3 days of 2.5 miles straight.

I'm happy to say, I did it! I set my timer for 37 minutes, put it on the side of my treadmill where I couldn't see it, covered my display, started my music and started jogging. Did well until the last 1/4 mile. I just wanted it to be over. I really wish I could learn to love running. I just don't feel it. Where is that euphoria you're suppose to get after running? That runners high? Maybe I'm just not pushing myself hard enough to get that, but I certainly have never experienced it. Even with Cardio Coach, I've never experienced a runners high.

Oh well. At least I feel accomplished.

CARDIO STATS:
50 minutes total
7 minutes below zone
6 minutes in zone
38 minutes above zone
433 calories burned
3 miles travelled

Belinda - You're welcome! :)

Workout is done! I also did the extented stretch, which felt great!

Debbie - fantastic job on your run today. It took me awhile to get that runners high, believe it or not! It will come. Keep it up, girl! You are doing fantastic:D

Hi to everyone that follows today. BBL!

Good Morning,

I did Shape Abs this morning and tonite will be GS Chest & Back and some kind of cardio. I really wanted to get up this morning but it was raining and really dark and I just couldn't seem to do it. I have a family reunion Sept 10th so I really need to control my diet and not miss any workouts.

Debbie-some people never experince the runners high because they just don't like running.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Belinda - I highly doubt I'll ever get that runners high. Just have that feeling. LOL!! Nice workout!

Roxie - I think you are right - I won't get that high because I just don't like running. LOL!

Nora - I sure hope you are feeling better. I'm sorry to hear you had to use your cane this weekend. I'm glad you listened to your body and took that rest. {{{HUGS}}}

Hi girls!

Checking in late with my workout today. I'm back into Peak Fit, week 6! I did Pure Strength 2. Still challenging band and weight work. I followed it up with Stretch 10 from Turbo Fire.

Debbie: Thanks for clarifying the protein question! I seriously think you need to run outside to get a good runners high. Just my opinion though. The dredmill never did it for me like outside does.

Roxie: nice workouts lately!! Impressive!

Belinda: great STS 'ing!!

Hi Nora!

Hi girls;)

I fell yesterday in the shower and hurt my right hip and hamstring. I woke in lots of pain more so than usual and I could barely walk my leftside didn't want to walk at all so I was in so much pain I couldn't even get in the car to drive son to where he goes to run today. I decided I shouldn't work out today because I'm physically not able and I may need more than a day or so to be ok enough to even attemp a workout I'll have to see how I'm feeling.
Sorry, no workout to report and I feel really terrible about it.:(

Debbie- Congrats on your hardwork with C25K paying off allowing you run 2.5 miles straight, that's awesome!!!:cool::) I experienced runner's high when I was on my highschool track team training and running like crazy, but not since then. So, I think that is something I won't experience ever again but that's ok as long as I can move and workout I can handle that. I was running some pretty high mileage a week to be able to achieve the runner's high effect. I was running about 8 to 10 miles a day six days a week back then I couldn't do that on a prayer today. Oh well, that was then. Don't feel cheated on the runner's high thing, I think that is achievable with running high miles per day at least that was my experience with it. You are athlete in your own right and achieve awesomeness all the time and are an inspiration to us all. ps. thanks for the hugs!;)

Roxie- Nice workout you have planned today keep up the great job and its smart to break it up to do part of the workout in the morning and part in the evening if that is more time friendly and makes it more doable for you. It's all good just have fun with it.

Chris- Hi, I hope to be able to start week 3 of PeakFit challenge but I don't know with how the way things are going for me with how I've been feeling with IT band stuff with glute and hip and now injury. I hope I can get back to feeling normal working out moving without pain again.

Ok, that's it for me girls. I hope you all have awesome evenings and keep on working hard at your fitness goals.:)

Hugs to everyone!:)

Nora
