My plan is to do D8 (BT) today and abs.

Nora - glad you listen to your body. Please, don't rush anything. You need the rest (((HUGS))) You will pounch back before you know it.

Roxie - good job, on your bike ride last night. Maybe your HR monitor didn't work right?

Chris - glad you enjoyed TF yesterday.

I do not like running, in fact, I hate it. I wasn't looking forward to this workout today and I only squeezed 2 miles out instead of 2.5 miles.

I hate to admit defeat, but that's what I'm going to do. I am gracefully going to bow out of this C25K rotation, I just can't do it anymore. I don't enjoy it and just thinking about jogging 3 miles that will take me 45 minutes in 2 weeks does not sit well with me.

The workout today just seemed to drag on forever. I finally looked at my timer and seen that I still had 15 minutes to go. I kept going but by the time 6 minutes was left on the timer I stopped. I know, 6 minutes. But that 6 minutes just felt like an hour to me today. I'm just not mentally focused on jogging miles and miles. So I won't do it anymore.

One good thing I've learned from this is I can run a couple miles at a time if I want too. So that makes me feel good. I want to start my Cardio Coach workouts up again because those workouts I enjoy a lot. Unlike continually running, I love to do sprints and sometimes hill climbs. So I'll just go back to that.

Thank you all for putting up with my whining, I know I've done it alot with this rotation. I just figure if I can't enjoy this, why do it? I obviously can't learn to love to jog/run so I'll just stop now.

Tonite for me is GS biceps 4ds abs and some kind of cardio, I wanted another bike ride but its raining off and on here today but the up side is the high is only suppose to be 77. My ribs, back, chest and shoulders are still screaming from Mondays workout.

Debbie-whine away if you don't like something and don't enjoy it why do it when you know there is something you do like available.

Debbie - if you don't enjoy running, don't do it;) There is no point in doing something you absolutly don't enjoy. Cardio Coach is an excellent choice, at least you like them.

Hi Girls! :)

Today I'm back to Peak Fit Challenge. I did Cardio Strength 2. Definitely feel I've made some gains in this workout. I remember first doing it and having to take WAY more breaks and feeling like puking a few times. This round , I took fewer breaks and no pukey feeling at all! BUT, I was still challenged!!

I'm hoping to go for a walk/run with Buddy later too.

Belinda: Nice job on STS and abs today!

: Wow. I have to admit, i'm kind of shocked at your post! I thought you'd be doing so well with the C25K and that you were getting into it/enjoying it! By all means, don't do it if you don't like it that much! not worth it for sure! Cardio Coach is an awesome running program, and if you enjoy it, do it instead. Just be careful of your thigh/knee. It seemed you would complain more of pain there when you were doing CC.

Nora: I know the hardest part of resting is mental. It's GREAT for your body that's hurting, but your mind still wants to work out. Hang in there! Know you're doing the right thing. Maybe some gentle stretching?
 
Thanks everyone. I am kind of bumming about this running thing because I really wanted to like it. I've tried numerous times in my lifetime to do this and like it. I thought the C25K program would maybe get me into it slowly and I would end up liking it. Not the case. Chris, I will definitely watch my knee and inner thigh while doing CC. I know those workouts bothered me but after I started stretching it eased up quite a bit.
