Crazy, Strong & Loving It for 4/30-5/6

Today was total body, same workout as last Monday only in superset format. I hopped on my treadmill for each 2 minute break. Had a great, sweaty workout!

Today was 2 sets/18 reps w/2 minute rest.

SS #1
Step Ups w/Band using 5 risers (up 1 riser)
ss w/
Dumbbell Curls - 15's (up 3#)

SS #2
Double Arm Tricep Kickbacks - 6's (up 1#)
ss w/
Front Raise - 12# plate (up 2#)
***Kickbacks really irritate the area between my shoulder blades where I always get knots. Won't be doing that exercise anymore.

SS #3
Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 15's (same weight)
ss w/
Bent Over Lateral Raise - 12's (same weight)

Then I did the abs from Power Hour.

Ended up jogging 1+ miles and burned an extra 120 calories. :eek:

Tonite I am finally going to take that spin class and I promise not to chicken out this time and if Body Pump isn't full I might try that to.

Debbie-the PT sessions are Personal Training at a gym I have had the evaluation and then tomarrow is the first real workout and I hope she is good or can at least give me some pointers. Good job on your workout today.

I finished today's workout about an hour or so ago. DH's schedule for work has changed and he wanted me to run errands with him so I did my workout after all that.

Here's today's workout:

Les Mills Pump- Pump & Burn= 35 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 311

Les Mills Pump- Hard Core Abs= 20 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 137

Total calories burned= 448

Great workouts for today and that ab one does get me good, yikes I'm still feelin' the burn on that one. LOL!! That's it for me today girls and I hope everyone is having a great monday. See you at tomorrow's check in.

Hi All!

Today I went to the park for a run for 62 minutes. Mostly steddy eddy, also did a few sprints/stair repeats and walked . Oh, and a stretch!

I'm hoping Cathe puts out her rotation soon so I can decide what I'll be doing.

Roxie: Let us know how the classes go. Congrats on the grandson news!!!!

Quick check in for me: I did Bob Harper Inside out M...." Burn (weight wo). 60 min. I really liked it, got a good burn. I will this rotation for the next 4 weeks.


DH isn't doing so well today:( sorry, I don't have a lot of time for personals.

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #2 and the last challenge from Cardio Coach #3. Had a fantastic workout, I really worked hard with this one. Felt great, my breathing was awesome today.

We went for a walk this morning and it was humid. Today is DH's birthday so we are going with little momma and SIL to Red Lobster, not my favorite place to eat but its his and she has been wanting it and whatever the baby wants it gets.

Today I did Circuit Blast. Not sure I've done that one more than once before, I liked it!!! Your HR is up there the WHOLE time through all the moves. I added on Med Ball Abs and then did TBS, without the ball.

Debbie: Nice job on the CC! Those are not easy! Especially the challenges.

Roxie: Awesome job on the spin class and the walk this morning! Enoy dinner out! My birthday is next Monday and I have to decide on where I want to eat out. I have no idea. I don't like "fast food" type of restaurants, or even places like Chili's, Carraba's, Olive Garden. I want to be able to pick something yummy, but on the healthier side too. So hard to choose! ....

Belinda: Hope your DH is better today! The poor guy. It must hurt and i know they MAKE you move from day 1.

I just completed a killer weigth workout. It was Les Mills Pump Revolution and man that was challenging with all those reps. I'll just check in now.

Here's today's workout:

Les Mills Pump- Pump Revolution= 58 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 515

Track 1 warm up w/#15BB.

Track2 Squat Track- #35BB

Track3 Chest Track- #22BB

Track4 Legs & Back- #30BB

Track5 Triceps-#20BB maybe go a little lighter next time like #15BB.

Track6 Biceps- #20BB or #15BB next time.

Track7 Squat Track- #35BB

Track8 Shoulders Track- Push ups BW , #7 db's,#25 BB.

Track9 Abs Track= No wts., then use #10 weight plate and Mat.

Track 10 Cool down/Stretch Track.
Roughly this completes 800 or so reps!! Killer!!

Total calories Incinerated= 515

Today was total body and I had another great workout. Same workout as last Wednesday only in superset fashion. I increased the rest time to 2 minutes between each set so I could run on the treadmill for the rest periods.

2 sets/8 reps with 2 minute rest between each set.

SS #1
Incline Barbell Press - 85# (up 5#)
ss w/
Barbell Row - 65# (down 5# - last week was a bit too heavy)

SS #2
Squats - 85# (no increase)
ss w/
Dumbbell Military Press - 20's (up 5#)

SS #3
Barbell Curls - 52# (down 3# - last weeks was way too high)
ss w/
Close Grip Bench Press - 65# (no increase)

Burned an extra 100 calories on the treadmill, ended up going 1 mile.

I actually enjoyed my meal at Red Lobster last night I had grilled talapia, rice and broccoli. We went shopping after supper and I bought the baby a couple of things one was a blanket that says I love grandma on it.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Meyer's 30 Minutes To Fitness Upper AND Lower Body Split Premix. Some different exercises, esp legs, I KNOW I'll be feeling it tomorrow! I did some extra stretching at the end. Have you done this one, Roxie?

Debbie: Nice job on your weights today! I bet you'll see some results with that extra cardio in between weight work.

Roxie: Glad you had a nice dinner! Sounds healthy! ... Good job on the walk. Are you going to follow a rotation in May?

Nora: That LM workout sounded intense!!! Great job getting that done!!! And wicked calorie burn!!! Gotta love that.

Chris-I am going to try and work in Chalene Extreme with going to the gym, walking and working with the personal trainer we will see how it goes. If I remember right that was a tough premix.

Well tonite we just got all the paperwork done for my membership to the gym and personal training, the real thing starts Monday. I did the elliptical after I was finished.

Today was cardio and I just got on the treadmill and did some sprints and hills. No biggie, I didn't kill myself today. Got a good 2 miles in, though and burned 311 calories. Not bad!

Sorry, for not checking in the last 2 day's:( DH is keeping me busy:confused: I don't remember if I mentioned it, this week I started doing Bob Harper Inside Out Method rotation. Those are tough:p I like them.This is what my week looks like:

Monday - Inside Out Method - Bure Burn
Tuesday - Rest
Wednesday - Body Rev/ Cardio Conditioning ( I almost puked on that one:()
Thursday - Yoga For The Warrior ( will that one today)
Friday - Rest
Saturday - My Workout
Sunday - Rest

Since I have a few rest day's, I will try to get a run next week.

Nice job, on your workouts. Looks amazing;)

Just going to do a quickie for now.

My workout today was from the LIS, Low Impact (Step) Challenge, the Extreme Challenge Premix. It had the 22 minute bonus step added on for total of 71 minutes! I swear, I'd forgotten about this workout. I remember Belinda posting about it, and I was like "I don't think I have that one!". LOL!. Great TOUGH Low Impact stuff. It amazes me how I drip with sweat and don't have the impact.

Okay, gotta run!!!! Hope to BBL for personals...:)
