Crazy Strong and Loving It "Happy Halloween"

Good Morning,

I ate like crap yesterday churches chicken for lunch Carlos O'Kellys for supper and I lost another lb. down to 119 haven't weighed that since the birth of my second daughter. DH bought me Jillian Michaels no game for wii. Need some suggestions, I want to do 4ds but I don't like the HIT step routine what can I sub for it? Today is slo-robics and then when DH is watching his football game I want to do a circuit of some kind.

Today was cardio and I almost didn't do anything. Woke up with a horrible headache, this PMS shit is killing me this month. I've had cramps for a week now along with horrible headaches. Yeesh. But I took a couple Aleve and an hour later I felt 100% better. So I did Press Play - something I committed to doing with some people on Cathe's OD forum - and I had a great workout up until Challenge #4. I only was able to do half of it due to my left hip flexor again. It's been fine this week so I'm assuming the treadmill is what is aggrevating it. :(

I couldn't do anymore, even though I really tried to finish the challenge. Kind of upset about that, but I thought it would better to quit then to pull something really bad.

Workout was dedicated to my mom and dad so that made me do the challenges that I was able to do at my fullest.

I'm at least off work tonight , but I'm about to go do some kickbutt interval (will pick it out when I get downstairs) to accomodate all the candy treats I will be eating tonight!

Belinda: Good workout today! I haven't done Timesavers in a LONG time.

Debbie: Oh! SOrry your hip bugged you. I hate that. Good job stopping, I know how easy it is to keep pushing. Hope you have fun tonight and PMS doesn't come back. I actually ended up going on BCP's because of the horrible PMS I had (it got worse as I got older), and they are a miracle drug. I love it!

Roxie: WOO HOO on pigging out and losing a lb!!! Can I have what you had???

Hi ladies. Started Cathe's October rotation today with STS Disc 1 - shoulders, chest, biceps. Holy crap. I forgot how many freaking push ups are in Meso 1! My arms were so sore and shaky I almost dropped the Brita water pitcher! :eek:

I also did one of the SB premixes (1, 2 + challenge) and abs from SJP. I know it sounds like a lot, but I like to do longer workouts on the weekend since I have the time. The next weight workout is supposed to be Disc 17 - Legs, but if I'm going to run tomorrow I may do the Disc 5 back and triceps instead and do legs on Monday.

The sun is FINALLY out here. It's super windy though. BUT - I will not complain one bit. Hope to get in a run tomorrow.

Debbie - good job pushing on and getting in the workout. Sometimes you just have to make it happen!

Roxie - I don't really like that step routine either actually. Maybe just substitute with one you do enjoy that is about that length. Don't feel like you have to be constrained to just doing that one. Pick a cardio you like so you'll be more likely to do it.

Chris - hope you had a kickbutt workout!

Belinda - good job with your bodyblast workout.

OMG, I ended up doing Hardcore Extreme: High/Low Intervals which was 8 intervals of lowmax and IMAX3 alternating (2 of each) and THEN the cardio blasts from KICKMAX . (Thank you Heather for the idea!) I made it through 3/4's of the blasts, when she said "Lunge intervals" , I FF'd it, but it went right to the stretch. So I skipped the last 2. (Do you remember what the last interval was, Heather? I can't believe you did it ALL, I was a sweaty MESS at the end)

Anyways, I'm good for calorie burn today! WOW!

OCT 09 Rotation should be good, Heather! I know you were thinking about STS, so this is a different way to do it.

Chris - after the lunge intervals are these tuck jump hop things. That premix is one that sort of sneaks up on you b/c the lowmax intervals aren't over the top so the Imax intervals don't seem AS bad, but then you get to that kickmax section and it all hits!

Hi girls happy halloween!:D:eek:

I wasn't feeling so great today so I rested. I will do MIC and STS Ab circuits No equipment abs tomorrow instead of what I was supposed to do for the last day of Cathe's October 2009 workout. I sort of combined the two minus the STretch max.
