Belinda - I'm like you today, gonna do something, just not sure what! LOL. It's nasty and rainy here still. At least the temps are little bit warmer (63). I may go ahead and do PLB today. I have all day to figure it out though.

Nora - we do care that you post. You'd be missed if you didn't! I did Imax 2 on Sunday. Maybe it's the go to workout for the week.

Good Morning,

Tonite is KCMs Muscle Definition since I didn't do it last nite which is ok because I didn't like the way I had things laid out. I don't know if it was the ab work or what last nite but my stomach is bothering me today trying to eat my oatmeal but not sure if it will stay down.

Heather-its cold and cloudy here again today to I think its suppose to rain.

Nora-I always read your post when I post my workout results.
 
Today was cardio and even though I really didn't want to do it, I made myself get dressed and get on my treadmill. I did Cardio Coach #8 and ended up having an excellent workout. Actually, a puke status workout. Felt good to get the blood moving.

HR STATS:

15 minutes in zone

523 calories burned!!!!

I'm taking the day off to try to finish painting my mom's kitchen. She's doing so well I'm afraid they will release her by the weekend and she'll come home to a half-finished kitchen. :eek:

Nora - Yes we care. I always go back to the day before and read what you and Wendy do. I know you both post late and I like to see what you did. I'm sorry if I don't comment on it the next day. I know to you it feels like no one see's what you are doing, but I do. You kick ass most days! :)
 
Hey Girls...

Going down now to do cardio. It's usually my running day , but it is COLD and rainy here (is it like that everywhere today???). Instead, I think I'm going to do LowMax. and then some abs (not sure which yet).

Nora, I also ALWAYS read your workouts! Don't stop posting, you INSPIRE me, seriously!!!!

Morning! I work this evening, so I already got my w/o in. Since I had such a great w/o yesterday with ME, I needed to do cardio today. I chose MIC ((Step only)))!!!!. I'm sorry, but hi/lo puts me off. Even her w/u in this is w/o the step. So I did the Imax w/u. It was 46 min/ 363 calories. I'm happy with that!

For those of you doing or having done STS....did you just do some 1RMs? I can't do the ones for legs - no squat machine or other assistive device, and when I load my barbell, I usually can do 20 reps with it because I'm so limited on the total amount of weight. Plus, I plan on doing the Plyo in Meso 3 anyway. I've done most of the 4 and 5 star ones. And I just want to start it already! Your thoughts?

Wendy - Honestly, I did not do any 1RM tests. I just gauged myself based on what I had been lifting. If I felt like I could go heavier, I did and that became my starting point for the 60% then I just kept building from there. Not sure if I got as much out of it or not, but I feel like I did. I found that I really started pushing myself by the 2nd week once I realized going to failure was a goal. Who knew...LOL.

I ended up doing all of LowMax. I didn't think I'd make it and thought about "just 4 or 5 intervals", but went to the end! Holy SHIT, that workout is crazy, huh? It's so deceiving in the beginning. My HR was max'ing in the 130's in the beginning, and I'm thinking , "Geesh, this isn't working me", and THEN , getting further into it, up to the 160's! Cranked that baby up! I did do half of Abs Weights and Plates (guess which half I did??? ).

Wendy: I did most all of the upper body 1RM's, skipping only the 1 starred ones. I actually didn't do any of the lower body (well maybe one) 1RM's. I can't lift huge heavy weights, and I also did the Plyo in Meso 3. I also didn't want to lift heavy heavy for lower body, my goal to lean out my lower body more than building muscle. .. I am glad I did the upper body 1RM's, though, because it pushed me more than I would have normally gone. When do you think you'll start? I'm on week 3 of Meso 1, so if you started now, you wouldn't be far behind me!

Heather: Meant to tell you from yesterday, my DH is so put off of STS because of the stability ball work. He has this thing where he does NOT want to use the ball. (Guess he wouldn't be doing any shaking Elmos!). I wish he would do it with me though. ... I might have to suck it up and do a round of P90X with him after STS, probably after the new year.
 
Ok, workout today did not go so well. Started PLB and ended up with a migraine. I changed BC pills this week so I was not surprised, but the timing sucked. I have started getting that aura/tunnel vision just before the migraine sets in, but I didn't get my medicine down quick enough. I hate, I mean hate shots, but almost wish I could shoot myself up with imitrex at the onset.

Chris - Isn't if funny what they get stuck in their heads about why to not try something??!! I have all but begged my DH to at least try one round with me. he has a million excuses of course.

:)Hi ladies!;)

I hope your having sunnier weather than I am in Oregon. Today was Oregon's famous liquid sunshine, ugh! Gray clouds and threatening to rain, then actually showers. Thanks for all the replies today, I really appreciate it. Lately my health hasn't been what it should be hopefully it will get better.

I did workout today, here's what I did:

KCM 30 Min to Fitness Kickboxing-Workout#2= 26 Min
Calories burned= 248

STS Meso 3, Disc#30 Shoulders,Bi's & Tri's=61 min
Calories burned= 474 approx.

I did ok with the calories burned today. I'm kind of easing into working out after taking a few days off for health issues. I feel like I need to burn more calories than what I have been. Maybe tomorrow I'll add a Cardio Coach Volume1, then do my STS Plyo Legs Meso 3 disc 35.

Great jobs on all of your workouts: Debbie, Wendy, Belinda, Heather, Roxie, and Chris! You guys are always an awesome workout crew that gets the job done, Bravo!!!!

My DD and her BF broke up today. I been on the phone all day long, trying to calm her down. Poor thing!

I have no workout to report today, I will very run down. My nose is running and stuffed. Took a rest day.

Nora, don't think for a second not to post anymore. I love reading your posts. And I do agree, your kick a$$ with your workouts, girl! I am always impressed. Hope you starting to feel better soon. ((((HUGS)))

BTW, I do have Jillian Michaells DVD's now. How do you use them?
