Good morning,

I can't believe October is almost over:rolleyes: Time flies! Tomrrow is my DD b-day:D We plan on going to Nuernberg, I am not very trilled.

I am super tired today, go figure! Feel like taking a rest day, but can't since we are leaving tomorrow. Still have to clean up the house a lttle, never ending story.

Not sure if I will do cardio today, lol or a full body workout? I don't have to to go to the gym tomorrow:(

DD is flying back to the states on Monday. :( this two weeks went by so quick.

Ok, need to get my butt moving! Will be back later!

Morning,

I am done with Body Max " Upper Body conditioning", I will do lower body later! Still very tired:rolleyes:

Have a great one!

Hi ladies. Last night I did do all of Hardcore Extreme hi/low premix. Today will be a rest day. Tomorrow is typically weights but I have absolutely no clue what to do next! I do know that the sun is supposed to finally be out. We've got major flooding though and it's still raining so I don't know if the river trails will even be passable for a run this weekend.

Belinda - I can't believe it's almost November either! This month flew by.

Happy Friday!!!!!!
Heather

Good Morning,

Tonite will be slo-robics. My wt. is finally where I want it to be and the inches are coming off slowly but what I need is someone like Debbie to push me to my workout limits I seem to be taking the easy way right now. I haven't lifted a real wt. in I don't know how long.

Belinda-can you believe christmas is almost here?

Heather-it stopped raining here today it rained all day yesterday.

Roxie - I just checked weather.com and looked at their hour-by-hour prediction. Looks like it's "supposed" to be clearing by around 3 today. Streets are totally washed out though so it's going to take some time to dry out around here.

Have you looked through either Cathe or Debbie's rotations? Maybe if you found one that'd help you get started again?

Hi Everyone...

I have a sick kiddo home with me today. He's my 8 yr old. We spent the hours of 4a-5am in a steamy bathroom last night. And then I was up for good at 6am. I'm pooped, but I DID push myself to work out. I did Tracey Staehle's Kickboxing Challenge. It was ok, not a challenge in the least, but god for a recovery week workout. I then did the Abs Only Premix from the Original BC.

Belinda: Ahhh... Enjoy the last days with your daughter! What a cool birthday to have on halloween! Good workout today!

Heather: You did ALL of HE Hi/Lo ? Wow! You deserve a rest day! Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you took a recovery few days/week , do some low impact cardio and some stretching/yoga, and figure out what you'll do next. Sorry to hear about all that flooding! Your weather is crazy there!

Roxie: Awesome that you're at your goal weight!! that's tremendous! Something kicked in, huh? Did you start eating more? There are a slew of rotations out there. what is your goal for the next month? Do you want to build up some muscle/definition? I bet Debbie could help you pick something out.

Wendy: You are a total nut loving the STS Leg workouts! You go! I sometimes think of you when I do them and dread them just a little less! LOL!

Nora: It does feel good when you can lift what you're "supposed to". WTG on STS yesterday!

Gotta go check my sick kiddo..

Ok, today start week 3 of Meso 3 and it the workout you go your heaviest. I did extremely well. I not only hit my 100# bench goal, I exceeded it by 5#! I am so happy about this, I never thought I'd be benching this again due to my shoulder. My shoulder has been fine through this whole STS rotation. Makes me very happy. Don't get me wrong, it still hurts when I move it in certain directions - like putting on deodorant - it hurts when I do that for some reason. But as long as I stay in control of the movements of exercise, it seems to be doing well.

So today was Meso 3, Week 3, Disc 31, Chest & Back. Had a BLAST with this one! I feel awesome right now.

Warmup:
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 65#/12 reps
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 70#/12 reps

Workout:
1st set
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 100#/6 reps
Barbell Rows - 85#/6 reps

2nd, 3rd & 4th sets
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 105#/6 reps
Barbell Rows - 90#/6 reps
***Felt extremely strong here. I should have tried 110# but I didn't want to push my luck. LOL!

1st set
Flat Bench Chest Flys - 37's/6 reps
One Arm Row - 45#/6 reps

2nd, 3rd & 4th sets
Flat Bench Chest Flys - 40's/6 reps
One Arm Row - 45#/6 reps
***Was shocked as hell that I did flyes with 40# dumbbells. I don't think I've ever done that before.

1st Set
Incline Barbell Bench Press -95#/6 reps
Barbell Deadlifts - 85#/6 reps

2nd, 3rd & 4th sets
Incline Barbell Bench Press -100#/6 reps
Barbell Deadlifts - 85#/6 reps
***The inclines felt awesome. Last set the 6th rep was almost to failure.

1st set
Incline Chest Flyes - 40's/6 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 40#/6 reps

2nd, 3rd & 4th sets
Incline Chest Flyes - 40's/6 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 42#/6 reps
***Probably could have used 45# for the horizontal rows but this exercises tends to hurt my right shoulder

I am psyched! This was one fun, excellent workout for me.

Well, today is my shopping day so I don't have time for personals, but I did read all the replies from yesterday and today. I hope you all have great workouts and a great day!

Chris-sorry to hear about the sick kiddo I guess I should have got up and chatted with you I was awake. I want to tone everything up and lose more inches. Nothing kicked in just being sick helped when you can't keep your food down its easy to lose wt. but now I have to watch it because I am not having a problem with that now.

Chris - We always have crazy weather here in AR, but this is even bad for us. There is a running joke you will hear: If you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes...it'll change. However, lately it's just been rain rain rain....

I should prob take an active recovery week. I just don't feel like I've really been pushing the weights as much so I want to try to focus on that. I was flexing around the other day (LOL) and want to work on triceps, back, shoulders a touch. I think I may try the October undulating rotation. It's only 4 weeks....

Heather-thats what we say here only we say 5 mins.

Hi girls!

Well, this is the most sore I have been in a while! I could tell my legs were seizing up last night at work, and today- boy! Nice and SORE! My quads are sore- feels great! And my butTOCKS are sore. I know that a small part of it is due to the fact I didn't get a good strectch in yesterday after Disc 9 Legs. I just don't care for the extended stretch. So I need to do cardio today and get a long stretch in. Abs, too if there's time before the Harvest Party at school. And I only have 1 party to go to as my other DD is home with a bellyache.
Sorry you were up with a sick child, Chris. And I know what you mean when you said once before that you do the bonus leg work because it's hard to stop when you know Cathe is still working!
Super Awesome, Debbie! I'm glad you're able to bench that weight again - and MORE!
I know you must be disappointed that your DD is leaving already, Belinda. I hope you enjoyed each other's company. She'll be alright.
I hope you have great workouts, Nora, Heather and Roxie! And.....rain, rain, go away!!
Catch up more later.....

:eek:Hi girls!;)

I don't know about you guys but my Friday is looking very busy and harried. I can't believe that October is nearly over, where did the time go, eh? LOL!!
I just wanted to say Happy Halloween to you girls, I'm sure those of you with kids will be busy with that tomorrow, or if you have plans, have a great time.

Here's today's workout as per Cathe's October '09 rotation:

Body Max 2 (No Upperbody Wts)=76 Min approx.
Calories burned= 726

This was so much fun and amazingly I remembered all the choreography:eek: I did have to stop a couple of times because I was getting too warm and dizzy, its an MS thing, so I cooled down a bit. Body Max 2 is still a favorite of mine, and its so much fun the time just flys by.

Seeya all at tomorrow's check in, if not Happy Halloween!;)

Hugs!;):)
