Today was cardio and I decided to do Step Blast. Wow did I have fun with this one! The workout went by in a flash and I had one of the best cardio workouts that I've had in a while. Actually, it was puke status - in a good way. The challenge at the end got my HR up to 170 bpm and I've only done that once before and that was with IMAX 3. And the weird thing is, it didn't really feel like I was up that high.

Love this workout! Especially when "Painted Black" comes on.

The storms are rolling through today. I have one dog terrified of thunder and lightening too so everyone was up early. Yawn. I did not, however, exercise. I think I will do the hi/low premix from Hardcore Challenge today. That one is always a good calorie burner and not terribly boring as it's a mix and match.

Debbie - SB is absolutely one of my favs. I have tried to stop doing it lately though b/c I found myself doing that one twice a week. I was afraid I'd burn out on it at some point. I love when she gets really worked up saying "rock press" I giggle every time.

Didn't get up to workout and I really need to start doing that, so tonite will be Totally Tubular from Turbo Jam 35 resistance band workout.

Debbie-I love step blast its my got to when I want a good burn.

Hey Guys...

I'm bound and determined to NOT let my job issues screw up my day again. It's ruined enough of my week with depression, worry and high emotions.

I'm going to go tackle Mindy Mylrea's Action packed step workout and then hopefully later go for a bike ride. The sun is SHINING today and it looks absolutely gorgeous. My other option for cardio this afternoon is raking the leaves. The rain and wind yesterday has our yard COVERED in them!

Belinda: That's so funny you have Reebok Step AND Cher too! The choreography is SO simple in those, it's crazy how far Step has come! Hope you have a good gym workout and PT session!

Debbie: WOO HOO for SB and puke status!!! It's been a long time since you've had a good report on your cardio!!

Heather: Seems like we trade weather back and forth. What workouts are in the Hardcore Challenge Hi/Lo premix? Sounds like a good one to hold onto for future use for me!

Roxie: I've not heard of that turbo jam workout. Is it new? I think I do have a tube workout from TJ, but it's not called that.

I've been wrestling with the idea of whether I should buy a workout I want this week, with the work thing and all. I've decided i'm going to! Right now, I've still got the income, so I'm doing it!

Chris-I think its actually called 3T Totally Tubular Turbo the case is green.
 
Chris - the hi/low premix uses 3 step/blast combos from Lowmax and 7 from Imax 3. You do one of the lowmax segments then 2 Imax 3, ending with only one Imax 3 (#10). Tacked on to the end are the blasts from Kickmax. I typically only do the first 3 of those and it puts it pretty close to an hour.

Sometimes you just have to take your mood into your own hands!

And Chris, I LOVE Gin Miller. I used to do her workouts all the time from FitTv. And I have her Reebok "the video" "intense moves" and another one - is that the one you have? Although I tried to put them on a disc and it won't let me. So my only option at this point is to rebuy them on DVD. I miss her!
All righty ladies. I gotta head upstairs and get Disc 9 Legs done. I've been looking forward to this leg workout since I finished the last leg workout - love these!

Heather, I think you've picked a good workout for today. I really like the terminator ones, and I should do more from that disc.
Belinda - hope your session is good today with the PT. Is your back feeling better?

Ok, I'm a dodo - I keep saying Hardcore Challenge and it's Hardcore Extreme that I really mean. Does this mean I have too many DVDs....LOL

No time for personals today, sorry.

Here's today's workout:

STS Meso 1, Disc#8, Back and Triceps= 56 Min
Calories burned= 435 Approx.

I did this last week and wasn't able to lift this much even at 65% of my 1 rep max. I guess I'm having a stronger day than I did with this one last week or whenever I did it the week before. Almost done with Cathe's 2009 October rotation, :eek:!
