Crazy, Strong and Loving it for October 2014!!

I had to go to the doctor today regarding my lower left side pain, it appears at this point I had pulled a muscle , so I have to take it easy for a few days. I will try to abide by that. He said no leg workouts or ab workouts. That is a bummer that is what I was suppose to do. I had worried it maybe be a left side ovarian cyst/rupture this time, I had the right side ovarian cyst rupture a few years ago, not fun, but all turned out ok, thank heavens and the good Lord above. So no workout today, we'll see what and if I can workout the rest of the week. Have a blessed day everyone!:)

My time has been consumed lately with...you guessed it, my 15 year old son. We are going to take a different approach to this next week. Definite work in progress!

Belinda, WTG on your weight loss and finding your "soul" workouts, as Chalene calls them!! I'm very happy for you! That dinner your husband cooked looked SOOOO good! Does he cook often? My husband , sadly, does not. LOL

Nora, Omgosh, sorry about your injury . I'm glad it's only a pulled muscle, at least. Don't push it, your body could use the rest anyways. ((hugs))

Roxie, so did you go in as a sub teacher's aide that day or no? Did you go in once and then they never called back? And how weird they would call you in and you didn't have orientation to the job yet? I hope it works out or something else comes up!... Why do you have to give back the spin bike?

Debbie, ... Maybe you could just do 10 minute workouts on work days, and then bigger workouts on the weekends? I have seen some great 10 minute workouts online , mostly cardio and compound weight moves, that look intense. When you're ready to start back again, just go slow. The rest is doing you good, I'm sure! .... How are your headaches lately?

As for me, I'm still on the October Rotation. Sunday I did Athletic Step + Body Beast Abs (I threw those in extra). Monday was rest day. Today I did X10 Step plus Great Glutes, standing, discs and bonus barre. that was killer!

I also did SBF Adv. Stopwatch Planks + Shoulders 2+ Active stretch last night = 40 min. Today I will do SBF Adv. Abdominals = 15 min + Legs = 20 min. I am super sore from SS yesterday.

Distance= 7.04 Miles

Beast- Bulk Block#2- Bulk Arms= 36 Min
MV= 6.0
CB= 295

Total calories burned= 596;)

Roxie- Good luck with your job search. I will think good thoughts for you. I've been looking too but no one wants to hire me its been about 19 years since I had a job. I quit work when I was 5 months pregnant with my first of two children due to medical concerns with pregnancy and work were having on me. I continue to be a stay-at-home mom then and with the second child I decided to continue to stay-at-home because child care was not affordable nor advantageous to work less childcare. So basically my entire check would have went to childcare assuming I could find someone good, reliable, and responsible to entrust with my children. Because of this I did not work out side the home and focused on taking care of home, husband, and raising two children. Now my first born graduated a year ago from High School and my youngest is in his senior year at high school. Now finances are increasingly difficult so much so money for food and bills. I think I may have to volunteer to get job experience other potential jobs will recognize as relate-able work experience before I can even think about money for food etc... Yes, I still do. Its a pulled muscle on the left side in the hip flexor low ab area. My doctor said no leg or ab workouts for a few days, I'm thinking the rest of the week. My doctor did say it was ok to do upper body work with weights. So I did weights today and for cardio I opted for Cardio Coach on the stationary bike rather than running on TM. I am trying to back off for the rest of the week on intense jarring HiiT cardio just so until my injury heals and still respecting no leg work for the rest of the week and reassess after this week. Thanks for you concern.

I didn't do a workout yesterday because I went and applied for the job in my old town then went to lunch with SIL nothing on that job but the school did call me again yesterday to work today. After work I did Xtrain Bis & Tris then walked on the TM for 30 minutes and I will do planks later. I have been waking up with stiffness in my back hard to bend over in the morning so I might have to go lower on the wts. or take a break from them.

Nora-take it easy. I have never been without a job except for lat summer. Be careful with that muscle.

Belinda-good job with your workouts.

Chris-I borrowed the spin bike from my SIL she just had hip surgery and can't use it for awhile so she said I could bring it home. I hope whatever you guys try on your 15 year old works.

No workouts for me today. My Body Beast rotation for today calls for stuff I can't do right now because of the injury so I'll be good today. I'll be back tomorrow to do just weights non lower body to avoid irritating my injury. I hope everyone has a blessed day!

I just finished KCM's Trim Down Boxing then gave my body a much needed stretch Total Body Stretching Basic and my planks. Body says I need more stretching.

I thought I'd try out just a low impact upper body type cardio workout so I did. I will now check in.

Here's today's workout:

Body Beast- Bulk Block#2 Bulk- Back = 29 Min
MV= 6.0
CB= 238

KCM 30MTF-TLC-Quick blend premix= 19 Min
MV= 7.50
CB= 195
That's the cardio I was talking about above.

Total Body Stretching- Basic Stretching= 14 Min
MV= 4.50
CB= 86

Total calories burned= 519

Now I'll see how I feel after that.

Good morning,

I got my workout in late last night. Had to take care of my poor baby. The vet had to take out 5 fatty tissue out and 1 cyst. I also had the vet clean this teeth too. I will see a specialist for my damaged nerves next week. My tooth is still killing me and the pain is getting worst.

Roxie and Nora - thanks for your kind words yesterday. Now I need to make sure Browler isn't taking out his stitches. Good job on your workouts.

Belinda- I saw the pic's you showed of Browler, poor baby. Did the vet send you home with an Elizabethan collar for him. They look like lampshade its worn to keep the dog from getting at stitches or licking a wound that's been treated. I hope Browler is doing better poor guy it breaks my heart when animals are hurting. I'm a big animal lover. If you have checked out my facebook page I love animals cats, dogs, wolves, and big cats. My particular favorite is German shepherds. I always think of my German shepherd, Ares as my furry kid. Hugs and prayers for Browler and to healing and feeling better. Your a good dog mom to take such good care of him. I'm sure he appreciated it too! ;)

Good afternoon,

I did my workouts this morning, while my dog Browler slept right next to me. I did SBF Inner Tights 3 and Adv. Lower Barre = 35 min.

Nora - thank you so much for your kind words. I have 3 Elizabethan collar. I have to make sure, he isn't moving around so much with that thing, he is hitting and running into things. Poor baby.
